Sinfulcolors Back to School 2015 Collection!

Just in case you are new to my blog ~~ Sinfulcolors is always one of my favorite polishes. How can it not be?  It goes on beautifully with two coats at most. It applies smooth and dries extremely fast. Plus it comes in a TON of amazing colors. Is there anything else you could ask for in a polish?

Sinfulcolors is a long lasting durable polish that is super affordable. They offer a huge variety of colors from Matte or shiny colors to glitters and metallics plus everything you can think of in between.

Since it's so affordable I have an extensive collection of SinfulColors polishes. I can continuously add to my collection without feeling guilty.

This time I get to tell you about the Back to School 2015 collection:

  • Blue Sensation: Lustrous silvery sky blue
  • Burst Of Fresh Flair: Pearlescent lemon yellow
  • Chalk It Up: Saturated, demi-matte pistachio green -  Loved this color as well, not a  fan of  Matte finishes but that's nothing a top coat doesn't take care of.
  • Daredevil: A pop of neon pink
  • Ice Blue: Soft indigo exploding with silver sparkle - another very easy to apply polish that hides mistakes better than other polishes. Very pretty color
  • Night Owl: Multi-colored gilded 3D glitter - very pretty over a color
  • Purple Diamond: Twinkling violet -  LOVED this color this polish is SO easy to apply       and also hides mistakes.
  • RADient: Vibrant raspberry with a demi-matte finish
  • Rebel Rose: Metallic magenta   -- This was one of my least favorites. It's a thin polish that took 3 coats to make an actual color and it was pretty but it works better for nail art
  • Summer S-cool: Robin's egg blue  - Surprisingly this was one of my favorites out this      group of  polishes. Not only is it great for back to school but it will make a pretty Easter color as well.

The colors in this collection all seem to work well alone or together.

These new colors are where from the  Back to School  Collection:

The entire Back to School collection

No outfit is complete without the proper polish!
Remember you can get the newest collection for $1.99 each at Walgreens and other mass retailers.

Sinfulcolors Spring Fever Collection

I'm mentioned before I have always been a huge fan of Sinful Colors nail polish. It goes on beautifully and I only need two coats at most. It goes on smooth, dries fast, comes in a TON of amazing colors, and it's extremely affordable. What more would I need in a nail polish?

When I was asked to review the Spring Fever collection I was extremely excited. Besides I love Spring and it's is on the way very soon right?!?

I love any color of polish you put in front of me and these were no exception. There were so many amazing colors in the spring collection I had no idea which ones to choose. I chose four glitters and one solid color, although glitter feels like it's superglue when I'm trying to remove it I'm very attracted to it. Plus I prefer a polish with a shine compared but I still will use matte colors on occasion.

The colors I chose are:

Petal of the Day -  A beautiful glitter with purple and blue flecks. It can be worn alone or a topper. The look is brighter and bolder when worn as a topper. I find white always makes a great background .

Standing Bloom Only  - An orange glitter polish with purple flecks . I never would have bet I would like purple and orange together but it is really pretty. They compliment each other in a way I would have not expected.

Flower Power - A lilac glitter with various colors of purple and white flecks. Too shear as a stand alone for me but works beautifully as a topper.

Ring the Belini - This is a solid orange glitter. I have said it before and will say it again. I LOVE glitters like this. They are very easy to apply and do not show mistakes as well as other polishes.

and

Flight To See - I was very skeptical when I saw this one. It's a hyper shiny iridescent purple. But it went on beautifully.

If you have never tried Sinfulcolors polishes, you should pick some up on your next shopping trip. They not only have the most amazing selection, the last a long time, they are not finicky and I have never had a Sinfulcolor polish stain my nails. No matter how dark they have all removed very easily with no stains even without a base coat. I always forget to use a base coat! The glitter is an exception to the easy to remove but if you wear a base coat it does make glitter a lot easier to remove.

All these beautiful colors to choose from!

I'm pretty sure I will pick up a few more of these colors. I want to try Prized Plume and Zest of Times for sure. Once I see them in person I bet there will be more that catch my eye. If you want to pick up your own polish you can get them at any local drug stores or WalMart.

Sinfulcolors Valentine's Day collection

I have always been a huge fan of Sinful Colors nail polish. It goes on beautifully and I only need two coats at most. It goes on smooth, dries fast, and comes in a TON of amazing colors. What more would I need in a nail polish?

When I was asked to review the Valentine's collection I was so excited. I love any color of polish you put in front of me and these were no exception.  As you can see I have two glitter type and two solid colors and they all have a beautiful shine to them. I am not a huge fan of matte polishes but I have used them once or twice.

A good thing about all four of these polishes is they will all work together for a mani with a little flare. Or they can be used alone for a beautiful classic one color mani.  And to go along with the Valentine's day theme they are the pink hue.

Sinfulcolors is a long lasting durable polish. I love that it comes in Matte or shiny colors and it's super affordable. I have an extensive collection of SinfulColors polishes and will continue to add to my collection with each new color that is released.

Colors featured in this post are part of the Flirt With Hearts collection:
  • Love Sprinkles -151 is a beautiful glitter topper with heart and sprinkle accents wear over your                                     favorite color
  •  24/7                  -   Solid Pink Perfect to wear alone or pair with another color
  •  Dream On        -  Solid Fushia that dries slightly matte
  • Pinky Glitter     -  And extremely glittery polish. Perfect to go over an color that will accent it or                                      wear alone.  Also perfect polish to cover smudges. I love that glitter isn't a picky                                  polish and does not show mistakes.

Gold Elements Nail Care

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I've mentioned before that I TRY to be vigilant about taking care of my nails. When I see them getting dull or lackluster I buff them. I use cuticle oil pretty often because my cuticle beds get rough or cut. I was very excited when I was chosen to review Gold Elements Nail Care Kit. It came with a nail file, buffing block, cuticle oil, and a hand and nail cream. When i opened the package everything was very pretty and it looked regal and elegant to me.

The cuticle oil comes in a tube that you squeeze to apply. I'm sure you know being a cuticle oil is a little bit thin in consistency but this one was not extremely runny. Application is very easy all I did was turn it over on my cuticle squeezed a little and a perfect amount is dispensed. Then I massaged it in. If you squeeze, you can always take some oil from one finger and put it on you other cuticles.   The smell is hard to describe but it's light and pleasant.

I've mentioned before that I love to use a nail buffer because It gives a pretty natural shine.  It also removes the the damaged, ridged look of your nails. It is super easy to do and doesn't take long.  The buffer block is well made and even better it has the instructions are written on it!  I usually can't remember what side to use first so this is perfect for me. The buffer block is clearly marked step one, step two, and step three on the front so there is no guess work.

The lotion is light weight and airy with the same pleasant smell as the cuticle oil. It absorbs in seconds and does not leave me feeling greasy or oily Instead it leaves my hands feeling smooth and silky.  The consistency is not very thick but it doesn't run when you squeeze a drop in your hand.

I have never mentioned this before but I am not fond of filing my nails. It give me chills if the file is too rough. This file is very sturdy but it is too rough for me. If you are used to filing your nails, it is like any other nail file so it wouldn't be a problem.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Paint Shop Polish

Today I am excited to talk to you about two beautiful colors from Paint Shop Polish's winter collection.

The first one is Dasher a beautiful emerald green. The picture is two coats with no top coat. It goes on easily and has a very pretty shine to it. Shake well before applying and as with all polishes make sure to let the first coat dry properly before applying the second coat. But don't worry it dries super fast. The color is in the winter collection but is stunning and can be used year round.

The next one I want to tell you about is Plum Fairy. This is a clear glitter top coat that has tons of color flecks and medium size white snowflakes. I have to say I struggled with my decision of a base coat. I thought white but I didn't want the snowflakes to be camouflaged. I thought about pink or light purple (which I still think would be pretty) I decided on black matte. The polish goes on easily but I had to dig the snowflakes out. I would bet it is because I had a small bottle that it was a little harder to get them out with the brush.  When I have to remove glitter I cringe  because we all know it doesn't let go easily. I was so excited and I'm happy to tell you this glitter removed very easily!

There tons of adorable, affordable polish in the Paint Shop Polish Etsy shop so go check out the other colors. You can also see lots of her beautiful creations on FaceBook plus you can keep up with the newest releases.

I received these polishes complimentary in exchange for an honest uncompensated review. But of as usual the opinion expressed is all mine.

Star Grazers collection from Polish Yer Hooves

I have three more amazing polishes from Polish Yer Hooves to share with y'all. The Star Grazers collection is unbelievable they are all very sparkly and beautiful. I got to choose three to review with them all being so pretty this was not an easy task. But these are the ones I chose. They are available in her Etsy shop and you can choose a full size or you can buy a pack of 3 - 4 minis.

The first one is Sacred Cow. Is a sparkly orange/gold. This is 2 coats with no top coat. This one is very pretty and would work well for a manicure for any season.

The next one is Kiss my Hooves.  I'm not a huge fan of red polish but this is absolutely stunning.  I won't say it's my favorite because every time I turn around LeighAnne comes out with something more spectacular but I will say I LOVE it. The shine is unbelievable and this is with no top coat.

sunshine

Last but not least in anyway is Cow Teals, this marvelous creation speaks for itself.  Can you see how it sparkles? I love blue polishes and this one blew me away.

All of the Polish Yer Hooves polishes I have used were very easy to apply and I love that the sparkly ones don't show my application mistakes. For being full of sparkles they are not overly gritty and dry extremely fast.  Polish Yer Hooves polishes are made for busy woman. I have done my nails and turned around to wash dishes 15 minutes later, not because I wanted to and cringing the whole time. But I walked away with the same beautiful mani I started with no smudges, no chips.  I can't tell you how many times I have fussed because after an hour I wet my hands and ruined my hard work.

These polishes are also EXTREMELY durable I am very hard on my nails, I'm sure I don't have to tell you how many dishes I wash with five children?  With that said, if I have a mani make through a day with some type of chip, smudge, or nicks I'm really lucky and very happy. After three days of wearing these I still have what I consider a beautifully intact mani.

There are  10 other unbelievable colors in this collection so you may have a hard time choosing just 3 or 4. I know I did. I ordered 3 more colors that I'm dying to try out and will soon be sharing with y'all.  Just a reminder you can order a scent and with these I chose chocolate and blueberry. They were both very light but distinct and pleasant. So don't forget to treat yourself to a scent you won't regret it.

As if making amazing polishes isn't enough to prove her talent. LeighAnne also offers an array of hand painted bottles and jewelry.

I had to borrow on of her pictures to share with y'all
Isn't that the cutest thing you've ever seen? That is hand painted I am truly impressed, this will be my next purchase.

I received the three above polishes complimentary in exchange for an honest uncompensated review. As usual the opinion expressed is all mine.

Mandyland Polish

Hi everybody, I have a new amazing polish maker to tell you about. Mandy from Mandyland Polish was sweet enough to send me three of her beautiful polishes to review for y'all. Mandy says 'all of my polishes are made from cosmetic grade materials and are three-free: NO dibutyl, phthalate, toluene, or formaldehyde! As they are hand mixed by me, please keep in mind there may be a slight variations among batches. Also the pigment should not settle due to the quality of the base but it never hurts to give the bottle a good shake between uses"  The polishes cost between $6.00 - $9.00 a piece and she has lots of adorable colors to choose from.

I've said it before pink is not my thing but I think I'm starting to really like pink so, of course the first one I grabbed was the pink, She's Always a Woman. When I opened the package my girls gathered around with lots of oohs and ahhs so I had to hide in a room to avoid my girls screaming "momma, please do my nails too". Not that I mind doing their nails but you understand, I will just have to do them later. This is a dark pink with pretty sparkly flecks that go on smoothly and spreads evenly. I love summer I love the heat, the pool, the beach, and the bright colors and this color says summer fun to me.

When I first saw Piano Man I thought okay not so bad it's grey/silver very nice for winter. Then I put it on and was so impressed. It is a very nude color, it doesn't come out grey at all. The first thing I thought was this would be great for a job interview. But it would also be great for people who unlike me, don't like bright bold colors. Although I like like bright bold colors I really like this polish it was very pretty with the soft shine that reflected light. I can't wait to use this as a top coat over one of my more matte colors to see the results.

I saved the glitter, Only the Good Die Young for last, I ALWAYS save the glitter for last. I love them, think they are beautiful but removing them could make me lose my mind some times. This glitter has pink, blue, orange, green, and yellow pretties in it.  They are all different shapes they have stars, circles, squares, dots, and they are all different sizes. When I looked very carefully I saw little black dots as well. They are easy to apply and don't take much digging to get them out as long as you shake the bottle before each use. The polish itself is a clear jelly texture so as you can see I paired it with a white base. I just found it stood out more with a back ground.  I didn't think I would like this one when I first saw it but I love it.This is by far the most fun polish I have ever tried. It is so colorful that it makes me smile when I look at it.  It reminds me of a birthday party for some reason but it is not childish in anyway. This would be good for any age. Not only is it fun to look at it it was fun to apply. I felt like an artist with the brush picking the colors I wanted and applying them strategically.  You can apply as many or as few pretties as you want, there are no rules. I tried to get all the colors on each nail and think I did an okay job. As with any glitter and decorative polish it applies easier if you dab the brush and not stroke the it. Also apply a top coat it will make the decorations less likely to rise or fall off.

Like Mandyland Polish on FaceBook to see her newest creations.
I received these polishes complimentary for testing purposes but the opinion is all mine.

Sweet Tea Polish

Here in the south we love sweet tea, I can drink it with breakfast, lunch, or supper it doesn't matter to me. The sweeter the better. Now I have a new reason to love sweet tea but I can't drink this one.

I'm excited to feature Sweet Tea Polish.  The artist behind Sweat Tea Polish, Darah has lots of beautiful colors in her Esty shop under Designsbydarah. She may include a piece of adorable jewelry with your order. Wouldn't that be a nice surprise? Some of the jewelry includes a burst of a Sweet Tea Polish Color.   I received my package and was so impressed by how cute it was. Darah wrapped it in pink tissue and tied with a colorful string. You could almost see the love she puts in her work. I was super excited that I received not one, not two, but THREE polishes to try.

Indoor

sunlight
I didn't make it to the end of the day without trying the first polish, Garnet Girl. This is a beautiful deep red and it dries matte but if you want to kick it up notch add a top coat and watch the beautiful shine. The polish went on smoothly and evenly it also dried extremely quickly. This is a great fall color it looks great by itself. If you like nail art, I can see doing some little green leaves or even little pumpkins.
sunlight

Indoor
The next color is Garnet Girl Glitter which screams fall to me. It has tiny but very visible flecks of black with red and gold glitter flecks as well. The bottle is filled with glitter so you get some on the brush every time you dip it so I did not have to fight to get an even coat. As with all glitters I give this application tip dab the brush onto your nail instead of stroking the brush. This only ensures that the glitter doesn't smear. The GarnetGirl and Garnet Girl Glitter can be paired to make nail art. I am a glutton for punishment because I know there is superglue somewhere in the glitter polish recipe but I think they are amazing. Removal hint soak a cotton ball in acetone then press it to the nail for a few seconds. The glitter will come right off.  Oddly enough my girls removed their glitter polish with NO problems. I must add this glitter is very smooth, even without a top coat it does not stick up or flake off.

Indoor
The last featured polish is Mint Julep which is a beautiful mint green. As with the other polishes this one goes on extremely smooth and easily. The first coat is very light so you do need at least two coats. I will have one problem with this polish, it reminds me of my favorite ice cream. Can you guess what flavor that is?

This picture shows the Garnet Girl Glitter Ring that was included with my polishes.  I think this is the most adorable ring. It is a swatch of the polish but it is versatile. I would wear it with any outfit it matches.

I received these polishes complimentary in exchange for an honest review. The opinion expresses is all mine and no additional compensation was provided.

Polish Yer Hooves - Nail Polish

I'm super excited to tell you about an emerging new polish maker! The super sweet LeighAnne sent me bottles of her work to share with all of you.  Her brand name is Polish Yer Hooves. Why that name you ask? Well LeighAnne states simply,  Although she can't explain why, she has had a love for cows since high school.  She has collected them, used cows as kitchen decor, and dressed her children in cow themed clothes.  So when she tried to come up with a name for her polish used love for cows and polish and came up with Polish Yer Hooves.  She advises against using the polish on cows or horses,  they don't like that.

I was so excited when I saw the two she sent me Save Da Udders, which is a pink polish with a lot of sparkle! LeighAnne recommends a top coat once Save Da Udders dries because it has a slightly gritty feel to it. Truthfully I'm terrible about remembering a top coat but I did three coats and I did not find it was gritty. This polish was made for Breast Cancer Awareness and Polish Yer Hooves will donate will donate $2.00 per bottle. It is noted that Breast Cancer is something LeighAnne supports because her Nana was effected by it.
I'm a girly girl but I'm not drawn to pink at all,  purple is more my color. When I grab for polish it is normally not a pink but when I saw Save Da Udders I fell in love, It is udderly beautiful.  The polish itself is very easy to apply and goes on smoothly, two coats were plenty enough to look flawless. It is not a thick polish but it is not thin, so the consistency is prefect. The brush itself was also very nice and made polishing my nails extremely easy. The brush fit in the nail corners without making a huge mess.  Once I applied it I couldn't stop looking at it. Polish Yer Hooves also offers a variety of scents in in the polish I chose Rose and forgot. Imagine my surprise when I started to polish my nails and the distinct smell of roses hit me. I can still smell the scent after 2 days of wearing the polish. If you have never tried scented polish I would recommend it, it was a very pleasant touch. I will include a list of all the scents a little later.  I am already thinking of cute nail art I can do with this polish. I think white strips or white hearts on top would be very cute. LeighAnne suggest doing clear/white nails with pink tips. Stay tuned for nail art pics!

As promised here are the scents you can choose from
Apple Cinnamon                                         Streusel Baby Powder
Blueberry Muffin                                         Lemongrass
Lilac                                                          Vanilla Lavender
Chocolate Lovers                                        French Lavender

PiƱa Colada                                                Sandalwood

extra. All bottles are handmade and 3 free, they cost between $9.00 and $10.00.
