Gold Elements Nail Care

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I've mentioned before that I TRY to be vigilant about taking care of my nails. When I see them getting dull or lackluster I buff them. I use cuticle oil pretty often because my cuticle beds get rough or cut. I was very excited when I was chosen to review Gold Elements Nail Care Kit. It came with a nail file, buffing block, cuticle oil, and a hand and nail cream. When i opened the package everything was very pretty and it looked regal and elegant to me.

The cuticle oil comes in a tube that you squeeze to apply. I'm sure you know being a cuticle oil is a little bit thin in consistency but this one was not extremely runny. Application is very easy all I did was turn it over on my cuticle squeezed a little and a perfect amount is dispensed. Then I massaged it in. If you squeeze, you can always take some oil from one finger and put it on you other cuticles.   The smell is hard to describe but it's light and pleasant.

I've mentioned before that I love to use a nail buffer because It gives a pretty natural shine.  It also removes the the damaged, ridged look of your nails. It is super easy to do and doesn't take long.  The buffer block is well made and even better it has the instructions are written on it!  I usually can't remember what side to use first so this is perfect for me. The buffer block is clearly marked step one, step two, and step three on the front so there is no guess work.

The lotion is light weight and airy with the same pleasant smell as the cuticle oil. It absorbs in seconds and does not leave me feeling greasy or oily Instead it leaves my hands feeling smooth and silky.  The consistency is not very thick but it doesn't run when you squeeze a drop in your hand.

I have never mentioned this before but I am not fond of filing my nails. It give me chills if the file is too rough. This file is very sturdy but it is too rough for me. If you are used to filing your nails, it is like any other nail file so it wouldn't be a problem.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Keep Buzzin Body Products review and giveaway

I have told you before I have this hand cream obsession I use it constantly so I'm sure it's no surprise I have tons of different fragrances and brands. I'm so excited to tell you about a new brand I discovered and fell in love with. Keep Buzzin Body Products is all natural products with no oxy benzone, phthalates, sulfates, paraben, lanolin, carmine, coloring, or petrolatum.

The ingredients are 100% vegan with no animal testing but when they say 100% natural they mean it the jars are 100% recycled made in the USA with no BPA plus the safety shrink SLEEVES are made from 100% compost and corn.  You can't get any more natural so this is a company you can feel great about buying from.

I was sent three hand creams and a foot cream to try so I dove right in. The box, packaging, and jars are super cute and colorful. My shipment was carefully packed to avoid any damage. Of course I opened the box and smelled them all when I pulled them out of the box. My sister was here and she agrees they all smelled so good they were almost edible. I received the Cherry-Almond hand cream, Tangerine Hand Cream, True Lavender Hand Cream and the Spearmint foot cream.

I liked them all so much I don't know which one to tell you about first. I guess I'll go with the first one I used. It's summer and I've been walking barefoot so I grabbed the foot cream first. I got the Spearmint and when I opened it the first thing I thought of was Double Mint gum. That is exactly what it smells like so of course it is amazing. The smell is very pleasant, distinct, and long lasting. This is one of my favorites I would buy this lotion for myself or a gift.

The next one I tried was the Tangerine Hand Cream which you guessed it smells JUST like a peeled tangerine so it smelled good. But I will admit this one was a little too overwhelming for me. The smell although a good smell was too strong but very LONG lasting. If you like tangerine and citrus I would recommend trying this hand cream, it was just not for me. I will give it my sister, she loved it when i opened the jar.

The next one I tried was the True Lavender I really liked this one as well. It smells a little more like it would be lavender spice but still a very pleasant smell. And since lavender is relaxing I used it after my hot bath. This one is very nice and I would purchase it for myself or a gift.

Last but in no way least the Cherry-Almond hand cream. I LOVED this one. It smells identical to fresh cherries which is a smell I am very drawn to. The almond scent is elusive but that was not a big deal to me. This is my favorite of all of the hand cream. The only problem is it may make you hungry because it smells edible.

I love the texture of all the lotions they are thick like body butter but absorb extremely quickly with no oily residue. If you remember, I have eczema and these creams did not irritate me at all . I have used them as a hand cream and body cream. The best part, they sell for only $10.00 a jar so they are super affordable. I hope Keep Buzzin starts making bath gels and body sprays I would love to layer these scents.

Keep Buzzin has generously offered to give one of you a chance to win your own four pack of lotions in the same amazing scents I reviewed!!  I think that is so awesome. So here are the rules:

Dermagist Spa System review and giveaway

When I got to test the Hydrating Spa System from Dermagist I was so excited. It's three lotions but head to to skin care . I was so excited to try the Foot and Heel Revitalizing Cream, Hydro-Renewal Hand Cream, and there was also a Hydropeutic Body lotion.

I also have terribly cracked dry heals. It is very embarrassing some creams help but nothing seems to get rid of the problem. I have always had this problem so I constantly fight. I thought about taking a picture for y'all but I couldn't bring myself to show you. When I got my kit in I pulled out the Foot & Heel cream and immediately used some. You can feel the peppermint and eucalyptus because it gives this cool refreshing feeling. It is a great for tired feet I look forward to using my foot lotion after a shower/bath.  My feet look amazing too my heels are are not cracked like they were before and they starting to look much better. Just in time for summer, I will not be embarrassed to wear sandals.

You know most girls have a true age and an age we tell people. Did you know many people feel their hands are the biggest giveaway to their true age? But spots and wrinkles on hands are often ignored. Probably because because if you are like me, you won't know how to treat spot and wrinkles on your hands. I have a slight obsession with hand lotion but still get dry cracked patches from my eczema. The Hydro Renewal Hand Cream is a unique combination of anti-aging benefits plus nourishing benefits for rough, dry hands so I was really excited to try this lotion. This lotion is a nice consistency and is not watery. It also absorbs very quickly. It keeps my hand feeling smooth and  silky. So the hand cream is just as amazing as the foot lotion.

I will admit my body is the most neglected skin as far as lotion. I will put lotion on my hands all day and I use lotion on my feet constantly. That brings me to the last lotion in the system is the Hydropeutic Body lotion it nourishing the skin in 3 different ways. It soothes and relaxes, deeply nourishes and firms, and helps shield the skin from environmental elements.  This lotion is very thin and almost watery which surprised me but is easy to apply and absorbs in seconds. My skin feels great after using this lotion and not just immediately, it's a long lasting effect.

They have all have the awesome pump for dispensing so no squeezing the tube! Although I will admit the Foot and Heel Revitalizing Cream is my favorite because is had an extreme wow factor for me, I love the entire spa set. This would make a great gift for my sister in-law. I think I've found her Christmas present. You can also purchase each lotion separately.

Show them some love, like Dermagist on FaceBook

Dermagist has agreed to give one of you a chance to win your own Spa System so that means I have to go over the rules. So here they are:

GRATiAE Beautifying Nail Kit (Apple,Green Tea and ginger) Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Y'all know I love nail polish and when I take pictures for ya'll sometimes I think wow I should have oiled my cuticles before that one. I try to take care of my nails and cuticles because healthy nails grow better and are stronger. It sound silly but I don't  function well without long nails. So I was very excited when I was chosen to review GratiAE beautifying nail kit. It came with a nail file, buffer, cuticle oil, and a hand and nail care treatment (lotion). When i opened the package everything was very pretty and it looked regal and elegant to me.

The cuticle oil comes in a pretty pink tube that you squeeze to apply. I'm sure you know being a cuticle oil it is a bit runny and oily but every oil I have ever used was like that. Application is very easy all I did was turn it over on my cuticle and nudge it, not even squeeze then a perfect amount is dispensed. Don't worry if you squeeze, all you have to do is take some oil from one finger and put it on you other cuticles. Then message it in.  With ingredients like sweet almonds and grapes it has light pleasant scent. You can distinctly smell the grapes which is okay with me because I like the smell.

The hand and nail care treatment is in a pretty pink tube as well and you squeeze to apply. It's a very lightweight formula with a medium consistency. It too, has a light pleasant smell with a hint of grapes. It absorbs in seconds and it not sticky or greasy. I can't stand a hand cream that is greasy, I won't wear it. This one leaves my hands feeling very soft and silky.

I will never forget how amazed I was when I first saw a buffer used on my nails. It gives a pretty natural shine that is incredible.  It also takes out the damaged look when a layer of your nails peel off. It is super easy to do and doesn't take long. I did go on the hunt for how often I should buff my nails and this is what I found. You can over buff your nails and make them thin and brittle. I read you shouldn't buff more than once a month but admittedly I'm guilty of buffing more often. I love this buffer it works very well and the instructions are written on it! I can't tell you how many times I had to guess what side to use first. This one has step one, two, and three right on the front so there is no guess work.

The nail file is a normal sturdy file that works well, like a nail file that's not much else to really say about that. I will add it doesn't rip my nails or make them jagged like some files I have used.

Gratiae also has lots of skin care products so you're bound find sometihng you love.
