Savannah Bee

When i saw Savannah Bee products I thought they were so interesting and I was very excited when I had the chance to work with them for a review. Their products are made out of Bee Honey so you know it's full of natural ingredients.

I was raised around bees my grandpaw was a bee keeper. I was always fascinated and watched him intently. He would come out with the smoke can in full gear and I would follow him as far as I could. Then he would come with the honey comb and we would eat a lot the put the rest in jars.

So the thought that Savannah Bee is making lotion and chap stick -- plus a lot of other products was so amazing to me.  There are gift sets that come with a piece of honey comb and that's amazing

I got to review the Tupelo Honey Body Lotion and three amazing southern scented lip balms. The Tupelo Honey Lotion is a soft scented lotion and the consistency is on thick side. It absorbs in seconds and is not greasy or oily.  My hands stay soft and silky for a long time after using.

Now the chap sticks are scents that are perfect for a southern girl like me.  They all go on smooth and stay that way. They don't flake and isn't cakey nor does it make my lips feel sticky. There are some lipgloss/lipbalms that I cannot stand on my lips. This is not on of them.

Everybody knows that we love our Sweet Tea in the south so I was leery about that scent. But it's amazing. It smells so good and it's not an overpowering sweet smell. It smells identical to sweet tea with a hint of lemon.

The Key Lime smells edible just like a key lime pie. It is a nice strong scent but nothing too overwhelming. I would not have thought it but this is my favorite scent out of the three.  Actually it's the best smelling lip balm I have used in a long time.

The Peach is awesome as well. That one is not quite as strong as Key Lime but it's a distinct smell.

I love all three of them and wear them all the time. I hate when my lips are cracked and dry. These keep my lips hydrated and prevent that from happening. I will need them more during the winter because my lips tend to crack really bad.

Vitabath Christmas scents

Christmas is coming time for the smell of Pine, cinnamon, and sugar cookies to fill the air. What if you smelled like Christmas? I don't mean pine or cinnamon but how about using a Peppermint shower gel and lotion. Or what do you think spice would smell like for shower gel and lotion? 

I was lucky enough to try them both from VitaBath and I was  little skeptical about them because they are not your typical scents but I also know VitaBath has amazing scents so I was expecting a them to be amazing. And I have to say I was not disappointed. 

The peppermint is divine I love taking a shower and using it. It smells up my entire shower with a strong, pleasant peppermint scent. Being mint it also leaves a cooling sensation when I am getting out of the shower. I LOVE it. This is one of my favorite scents to date. The lotion doesn't disappoint either. Once the smell is not fresh it is not strong just a light almost edible scent. 

   

                                         

When I saw the name Spice is Nice I was thinking this would be a scent that would be okay but nothing fabulous. I couldn't have been more wrong! Although can smell the twinge of spice there is a hint of sweet as well.

This is one of my new favorites as well. Even my hubby said "Oh that smells nice"  He is very honest so I know he likes it.,  I think this set would make a great gift for any woman/teen in your life.  I will check to see if Vitabath has full sizes so I can order before Christmas is over.


Of course as with every other Vitabath set the bath gel give immense lather with no residue or sticky feeling. I love the feeling of stepping out of the shower with the smell of peppermint or spice lingering on me. Following with the lotion makes the scent last all day long

New Fragrance from VitaBath

So the folks at Vitabath like me so much they named their newest fragrance after me....Well I really doubt it was after me but the name of it is Sweet Vanilla Amber. I'm sure it's more likely named that because of it's warm, luxurious, golden amber color.

Either way I'm in love with the smell although it doesn't smell like vanilla, It smells more like a blend of scents that creates an sensual almost intoxicating scent.  The scent is very girly and is sweet but not in a cupcake or cake sweet way.

Just like every other Vitabath shower gels, it abundantly lathers to make me feel very clean when I'm done. That combined with no sticky residue or drying feeling makes Vitabath one of my favorite shower gels. The gel is a Sulfate and Paraben Free formula.

The lotion is a medium consistency and absorb very quickly. The same amazing smell as with the shower gel and the smell lingers.  I smelled it on my hands long after I applied it.  With vitamins A, B3, C, E. and Pro-Vitmains B5 it is extremely moisturizing and good for your skin. In addition it is formulated with Aloe Vera, Safflower and Olive Oils for silky soft skin. I have eczema and have experienced no irritation while using these products. Plus it is free from parabens, propylene glycol, phthalates, sulfates, mineral oil, and synthetic color.

Layering the two makes for an all day fresh smell. Add the Mist to take it up a notch. I love getting bath sets for Christmas and this would make a great gift for any woman. Order early to beat the shipping overloads.

Dermagist Spa System review and giveaway

When I got to test the Hydrating Spa System from Dermagist I was so excited. It's three lotions but head to to skin care . I was so excited to try the Foot and Heel Revitalizing Cream, Hydro-Renewal Hand Cream, and there was also a Hydropeutic Body lotion.

 I also have terribly cracked dry heals. It is very embarrassing some creams help but nothing seems to get rid of the problem. I have always had this problem so I constantly fight. I thought about taking a picture for y'all but I couldn't bring myself to show you. When I got my kit in I pulled out the Foot & Heel cream and immediately used some. You can feel the peppermint and eucalyptus because it gives this cool refreshing feeling. It is a great for tired feet I look forward to using my foot lotion after a shower/bath.  My feet look amazing too my heels are are not cracked like they were before and they starting to look much better. Just in time for summer, I will not be embarrassed to wear sandals.

You know most girls have a true age and an age we tell people. Did you know many people feel their hands are the biggest giveaway to their true age? But spots and wrinkles on hands are often ignored. Probably because because if you are like me, you won't know how to treat spot and wrinkles on your hands. I have a slight obsession with hand lotion but still get dry cracked patches from my eczema. The Hydro Renewal Hand Cream is a unique combination of anti-aging benefits plus nourishing benefits for rough, dry hands so I was really excited to try this lotion. This lotion is a nice consistency and is not watery. It also absorbs very quickly. It keeps my hand feeling smooth and  silky. So the hand cream is just as amazing as the foot lotion.

I will admit my body is the most neglected skin as far as lotion. I will put lotion on my hands all day and I use lotion on my feet constantly. That brings me to the last lotion in the system is the Hydropeutic Body lotion it nourishing the skin in 3 different ways. It soothes and relaxes, deeply nourishes and firms, and helps shield the skin from environmental elements.  This lotion is very thin and almost watery which surprised me but is easy to apply and absorbs in seconds. My skin feels great after using this lotion and not just immediately, it's a long lasting effect.

They have all have the awesome pump for dispensing so no squeezing the tube! Although I will admit the Foot and Heel Revitalizing Cream is my favorite because is had an extreme wow factor for me, I love the entire spa set. This would make a great gift for my sister in-law. I think I've found her Christmas present. You can also purchase each lotion separately.

I like to try new things and sharing them with y'all.  I told y'all before I love body washes, I'm a sucker for a new scent and usually pick them up when I see one. There is nothing more relaxing than a hot bath or shower to me.

So very I am so excited to tell y'all about a new Dial, it's vitamin boosted the one I received is infused with Vitamin B and smells just like Kiwi.  It is lotion infused so it is soft and silky when using. It takes very little to create a wonderful fragrance filled lather. So when you step out the shower you smell great and your skin feels amazing.  It leaves me feeling clean with no residue Since I usually forget to put lotion after I shower, this is a great product for me.

Original Sprout review and Giveaway

Original Sprout is a company I just recently discovered. They sent me a generous package to review and I'm so excited to tell ya'll about the products. I got an Island Bliss shampoo, Luscious Island conditioner, and Tahitian Hair Oil Plus a tube of Scrumptious Baby Cream.

The Island Bliss shampoo has ingredients like Mongongo Oil, vegan protein & moisture. With a gentle PH to help retain hair color it's great for not only for color treated hair but dry hair as well. It is also sulfate free and safe for daily use. The shampoo's subtle but noticeable scent is AMAZING living up to the name island bliss . I will say the shampoo doesn't provide an over abundance of lather but there is enough to leave my hair feeling clean.

The Luscious Island Conditioner is a medium consistency conditioner that is great for all hair types and textures. With ingredients like Mongongo Oil it smooths and detangles plus locks in color and shine. It doesn't take very much to work through my hair and leave it soft and silky. It too smells amazing with a coconut scent a little stronger than the shampoo but it's certainly not overwhelming.

I've been hooked on leave in oils since the first time I tried one but I feel madly in love with the Tahitian Hair Oil. It's way different because although it is an oil my hands don't feel greasy after I apply it.  I smoothed two pumps through wet hair and let air dry most nights. It is very light weight and didn't weigh my hair down or make it look greasy.  The smell of the oil is also amazing and sweet but not overly sweet.  You can also use as a "lotion" for your skin. I like to use oil during the winter because my skin tend to get dry.

While using the three my hair has been soft, silky, and manageable with a beautiful healthy shine. My hair is very easy to comb/brush and style. I am very impressed this hair care trio.  As an added bonus all three have no parabens and are 100% vegan, organic, and natural.

Now for the Scrumptious Baby Cream I have no LITTLE babies but lets face it they are always babies to you. But anyway my point is this still got tons of use at my house. I was the one getting the most use, so don't let the name fool you. This lotion is soft and silky without being greasy or oily. It absorbs in seconds and leaves your skin feeling amazing.  I have dry hands so I use this lotion all day.  I can start typing right after I apply the lotion with no residue on the keyboard. I don't know about you but that's a HUGE deal to me.  One of my favorite lotions leaves white traces on my keyboard if I type too soon after I apply it. Imagine telling a client, please hold, my lotion needs to dry. That's not acceptable so most of the time I would apply lotion on my breaks to avoid getting the keyboard messy.  The scent reminds me of a baby so that must be another reason for the name. 4 of my children and I also have eczema patches on occasion and this did not irritate our skin at all. This too is paraben free and  100% vegan, organic, and natural so you can feel safe using it on you baby or yourself.

I'm very glad I discovered Original Sprout. The website has other products like styling products and SFC and there are lots of size options, you can even purchase some of the product in a trial sizes. Vouray Serum RV - Review and GIVEAWAY

I talk a lot about skin care and finding a good quality product. As I age gracefully, I find there are more skin care products I want to use. Some of them I would never have found if not for the internet. I look at products in stores but I like to target my trouble areas. I really I would try one of everything but that's not exactly logical.  I was recently introduced to Vouray Serum RV. What is that you ask? Vouray Serum RV (revive) contains a powerful protein called Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF), a much sought-after ingredient that supports the natural cell turnover process in your skin.

This improved cell turnover rate helps your skin slough old skin cells and replace them with new ones more often, keeping your skin looking young, healthy, and fresh!

Serum RV also contains an active botanical extract from natural unaltered barley seeds and wild barley gras. Their effectiveness is further enhanced by pristine Sea Water, which contains a wide variety of minerals and salts.

Serum RV is light weight and is a medium consistency and it has little or no smell. It goes on smooth and applies very evenly and it doesn't peal or flake. It is only slightly sticky UNLESS you apply moisturizer too soon after you apply the serum then it is very sticky. So be careful to let it set in a little while before putting on your moisturizer.

This formula is recommended once a day and I see why, although it is light weight it is a little heavier than a moisturizer I would wear under make up.  My face feels fantastic after using the serum for over a week.
I don't know any other way to explain it but my face feels hydrated. It has no dry feeling to it all. I also don't feel the need to excessively moisturize.  Over all very impressed and I would buy this product again.

October's Ipsy Glambag - spoiler- It's amazing

It's that time again!! My October Ipsy Glambag is here. For those of you who haven't heard about Ispy before it is a monthly subscription service that delivers 4/5 full or deluxe sample sized products straight to your door for only $10.00 a month. I have not had a glambag disappointment me and this one did not disappoint either.

The theme this month is The Art of Beauty and this is what I got:

A full size Zoya polish in Mason which sells for $8.00 per bottle.I'm sure by now you can tell I love nail polish so this is perfect for me. Plus it's a purple shade......did they read my mind??

A .07 fl oz size of Buxom Full on Lip Polish in Dolly which is beautiful a shade of light pink.  Full size .15 fl oz sells for $19.00. I never heard of this product or this brand. I'm excited to try it. I can never have enough lip gloss either.

A deluxe size 1.7 fl oz sample of  Big Sexy Hair Blow Dry Gel full size sell for around $15.00. I liked the Big Sexy Hair Humidity spray that I got in one of my previous Ipsy bags so I have high expectations for this one!

A .34 fl oz size H2O Plus Face Oasis Hydrating Treatment, full size sell 1.7 fl oz for around  $36.00.

A deluxe size 2 fl oz Be Delectable Hand cream in Strawberry & Cream full 6 fl oz size sell for $10.00. They also have a full line of products to coordinate scents.

Lets see if I got my money's worth in this bag. If I would have purchased all of these full size products I would have spent a whopping $88.00. That's a huge savings even though they are not all full size. I still feel like I made out pretty good because I get to try all these goodies for only $10.00! I will do specialized reviews on any products I love or hate so stay tuned.
