Gold Elements Nail Care

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I've mentioned before that I TRY to be vigilant about taking care of my nails. When I see them getting dull or lackluster I buff them. I use cuticle oil pretty often because my cuticle beds get rough or cut. I was very excited when I was chosen to review Gold Elements Nail Care Kit. It came with a nail file, buffing block, cuticle oil, and a hand and nail cream. When i opened the package everything was very pretty and it looked regal and elegant to me.

The cuticle oil comes in a tube that you squeeze to apply. I'm sure you know being a cuticle oil is a little bit thin in consistency but this one was not extremely runny. Application is very easy all I did was turn it over on my cuticle squeezed a little and a perfect amount is dispensed. Then I massaged it in. If you squeeze, you can always take some oil from one finger and put it on you other cuticles.   The smell is hard to describe but it's light and pleasant.

I've mentioned before that I love to use a nail buffer because It gives a pretty natural shine.  It also removes the the damaged, ridged look of your nails. It is super easy to do and doesn't take long.  The buffer block is well made and even better it has the instructions are written on it!  I usually can't remember what side to use first so this is perfect for me. The buffer block is clearly marked step one, step two, and step three on the front so there is no guess work.

The lotion is light weight and airy with the same pleasant smell as the cuticle oil. It absorbs in seconds and does not leave me feeling greasy or oily Instead it leaves my hands feeling smooth and silky.  The consistency is not very thick but it doesn't run when you squeeze a drop in your hand.

I have never mentioned this before but I am not fond of filing my nails. It give me chills if the file is too rough. This file is very sturdy but it is too rough for me. If you are used to filing your nails, it is like any other nail file so it wouldn't be a problem.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

GRATiAE Beautifying Nail Kit (Apple,Green Tea and ginger) Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Y'all know I love nail polish and when I take pictures for ya'll sometimes I think wow I should have oiled my cuticles before that one. I try to take care of my nails and cuticles because healthy nails grow better and are stronger. It sound silly but I don't  function well without long nails. So I was very excited when I was chosen to review GratiAE beautifying nail kit. It came with a nail file, buffer, cuticle oil, and a hand and nail care treatment (lotion). When i opened the package everything was very pretty and it looked regal and elegant to me.

The cuticle oil comes in a pretty pink tube that you squeeze to apply. I'm sure you know being a cuticle oil it is a bit runny and oily but every oil I have ever used was like that. Application is very easy all I did was turn it over on my cuticle and nudge it, not even squeeze then a perfect amount is dispensed. Don't worry if you squeeze, all you have to do is take some oil from one finger and put it on you other cuticles. Then message it in.  With ingredients like sweet almonds and grapes it has light pleasant scent. You can distinctly smell the grapes which is okay with me because I like the smell.

The hand and nail care treatment is in a pretty pink tube as well and you squeeze to apply. It's a very lightweight formula with a medium consistency. It too, has a light pleasant smell with a hint of grapes. It absorbs in seconds and it not sticky or greasy. I can't stand a hand cream that is greasy, I won't wear it. This one leaves my hands feeling very soft and silky.

I will never forget how amazed I was when I first saw a buffer used on my nails. It gives a pretty natural shine that is incredible.  It also takes out the damaged look when a layer of your nails peel off. It is super easy to do and doesn't take long. I did go on the hunt for how often I should buff my nails and this is what I found. You can over buff your nails and make them thin and brittle. I read you shouldn't buff more than once a month but admittedly I'm guilty of buffing more often. I love this buffer it works very well and the instructions are written on it! I can't tell you how many times I had to guess what side to use first. This one has step one, two, and three right on the front so there is no guess work.

The nail file is a normal sturdy file that works well, like a nail file that's not much else to really say about that. I will add it doesn't rip my nails or make them jagged like some files I have used.

Gratiae also has lots of skin care products so you're bound find sometihng you love.
