Gold Elements Nail Care

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I've mentioned before that I TRY to be vigilant about taking care of my nails. When I see them getting dull or lackluster I buff them. I use cuticle oil pretty often because my cuticle beds get rough or cut. I was very excited when I was chosen to review Gold Elements Nail Care Kit. It came with a nail file, buffing block, cuticle oil, and a hand and nail cream. When i opened the package everything was very pretty and it looked regal and elegant to me.

The cuticle oil comes in a tube that you squeeze to apply. I'm sure you know being a cuticle oil is a little bit thin in consistency but this one was not extremely runny. Application is very easy all I did was turn it over on my cuticle squeezed a little and a perfect amount is dispensed. Then I massaged it in. If you squeeze, you can always take some oil from one finger and put it on you other cuticles.   The smell is hard to describe but it's light and pleasant.

I've mentioned before that I love to use a nail buffer because It gives a pretty natural shine.  It also removes the the damaged, ridged look of your nails. It is super easy to do and doesn't take long.  The buffer block is well made and even better it has the instructions are written on it!  I usually can't remember what side to use first so this is perfect for me. The buffer block is clearly marked step one, step two, and step three on the front so there is no guess work.

The lotion is light weight and airy with the same pleasant smell as the cuticle oil. It absorbs in seconds and does not leave me feeling greasy or oily Instead it leaves my hands feeling smooth and silky.  The consistency is not very thick but it doesn't run when you squeeze a drop in your hand.

I have never mentioned this before but I am not fond of filing my nails. It give me chills if the file is too rough. This file is very sturdy but it is too rough for me. If you are used to filing your nails, it is like any other nail file so it wouldn't be a problem.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Gold Elements - D'or Facial Cream

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I recently got to review D'Or Facial Cream from Gold Elements. I have never heard of Gold Elements until now and when I got my package I was very intrigued by how classy and rich it looked. The package is white with gold trim but it is one of, if not, the prettiest skin care packages I have ever seen.  Even the bottle reminds me of the ones my grandmother had her vanity and she has impeccable taste if you know what I mean.

It is made with refreshing ingredients that assist in counteracting the external evidence of skin aging. Helps condition and re-balance the skin leaving it feeling fresh, smooth, and healthy looking.

It comes in a jar and you dip your fingers in to grab some moisturizer for application. The moisturizer is very thick in the jar but comes out very easily. It also applies very easily, feels silky, and absorbs in seconds with no residue. There is a light pleasant smell but only when applying. Which to me that is perfect I don't want to smell my face cream all day.

After a few days of use my face feels great, I love putting this on my face. I use it as a day and night moisturizer because it's lightweight, actually weightless so it wears great under make up. I give the D'Or Facial Cream two thumbs up.
