Today I want to share something a little different with y'all. I don't promote many supplements but let's face it everybody needs sleep. In fact, sleep is one of the most important things for your skin, weight, and overall well being. Lately sleep has been quite elusive to me. It seems everything is starting to keep me up at night. I take most of the days stress to bed. I needed something so I decided to give ZZZQuil a try.
It's not habit forming and it specifically formulated for sleep. I like that it doesn't make me sleepy but rather I can close my eyes and fall asleep when I'm ready. I get a great night of solid sleep without waking up groggy in the morning. I have tried other sleep aids including prescription and most of them make me feel like I cannot wake up. But no matter what time I've taken ZZZQuil I wake up refreshed. But i will confess I still need my first cup of coffee to function. But I don't get sleepy during the day.
I like that can take this whenever I need the help falling asleep. My body doesn't NEED it to sleep even if I use a few days in a row. I was a long time user of ZZZQuil liquid when I was given the capsules to try from Influenster. I really have no preference the capsules are very easy to swallow. Since they are gel caps they go down easy with a glass of water.
Overall I would highly recommend this if you are having a hard time sleeping at night. I was using it before I received a free sample from Influenster and will continue to use it on those sleepless nights.

I will rarely splurge on makeup. I feel if it can do the same thing at a lower cost I'm going with that brand. But there are times when you have to splurge or should I say should splurge because after all you do get what you pay for in some instances.
I was very lucky to try Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir mascara from Influenster. To me just the name Marc Jacobs means splurging or pampering so I was very excited to try it. Mascara is one of those products I feel I should splurge on because lashes can make or break a look. I feel super sexy when my lashes are long and lush so I'm no stranger to higher end mascaras. And believe me they all work very differently.
So the first thing I noticed about the Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir is the tube is very eloquent . It's shape is odd and the color is classic black. But something I would display on my vanity for everyone to see. The brush was mind blowing because I always thought it had to be curved to work. NOPE this one is pretty small with I guess an hour glass shape.
This was love at first swipe because now I don't' want to use any other mascara. My lashes look AMAZING (if I must say so myself). They look thicker and have more volume which makes them pop! The mascara doesn't clump or smudge. It last for a long time... I work 10 hours a day and it's still there. But still super easy to remove with a little makeup remover.
Overall I would recommend this mascara and will keep buying it. I am hooked! Thanks Influsenster for letter me try this new must have complimentary!

Vicks made this thermometer for moms like me. I have six children and if they are all sick I have a very hard time keeping track of everybody's temp. I can write it down but those little papers fly away and get lost somewhere in oblivion. Now there's an app for that. AT first that statement was a huge joke but I don't know what I would do without some apps.
This thermometer is small and easy to use. Tip is smooth and comfortable under the tongue (yes i used it myself) It's easy to turn on with the push of a button and there is a green light that comes on when it's powered up. It only takes seconds for the temperature to read. Which anybody who has fought with a child to keep their mouth shut for a temperature reading knows that is a huge PLUS.
The cap fits perfectly and doesn't fall off when the thermometer is moved. So the tip is always protected.
One complaint is it cannot be used without the app as there is no temperature reading on the thermometer itself. I know it would be hard to keep track without the app but sometimes I may need a quick temp reading even if I dont' have my phone.; Vicks should have an option to use it without the app and this would be the best thermometer ever.

We have talked about an Inflluenster VoxBox before and I'm excited to open another one with you. From what I see I can say this looks like one of the best Vox boxes yet. Ok so let me stop a minute for all of y'all who are wondering what is Influenster and a voxbox?

Hair Food Moisture Hair Mas I've never heard of this brand and I have never gotten around to using a hair mask. I will get around to it very soon so I can let y'all know all about this one.
A Puffs SoftPack it's a flexible tissue "box" that is designed to hold up better than traditional boxes. Tissues are a MUST in my house, car, purse, and anywhere else I can stuff them so I'm very happy to test these. Knowing Puffs, I'm sure the tissues are amazing. I will see if the "box" holds up to the wear and tear.
Resource Water I can never have enough water and I don't drink facet so this is great for me to try. Resource Water has a home delivery service but it is not available in my area. Maybe they will come soon.

I was very excited to share this Voxbox from Influenster with my furry babies. This is the first pet centered box I have seen and my dogs were very happy to be chosen. The flavor they received was Filet Mignon and Bacon my first thought was wow they will get to eat better than us.
I give my little furry ones treats after every bath so I took the bag out and they new what was coming. You see the little on in the corner? He was way to hyper for me to get a picture that was not blurry. The one below was the best I could get, he was looking up at me like why won't you just hurry up?
I was very happy to see how soft these treats were, Caesar has choked before on a bone so I don't like to give them hard treats. So these were very long but easy to break in two pieces. There is also 2 layers to the treat but they didn't fall apart and crumble.
Caesar and Gizzy had no problems eating them and the treat was gone in seconds. I obviously can't vouch for how tasty these are but from the wagging tails and lip licking I can tell you my babies liked them. They both begged for another. And you know momma gave them another one!

This summer I was not bikini ready but this year I'm kickboxing myself to being bikini ready for next summer. With children, work, housework, and errands sometimes, who am I kidding a LOT of times I don't have the energy to exercise. It's even worse now that school has started and started getting up much earlier.
On days when I don't have enough energy I don't do my kickboxing which is a bad thing. Exercise in itself gives you energy and I feel terribly guilty the entire day. So I have another Influenster Voxbox to share with y'all, YAY! This one is named the Vitality Vox Box and as usual it is filled with lots of amazing goodies for me to share. Since the general theme of the voxbox is vitality the products are feel good/health products. Which is great for me. I've gotten into the healthy life lately so new products are nice to discover.
So when I opened the box this is what was in it.

The PureLeaf Ice Tea is made from real brewed tea for that fresh brewed taste. They start with the finest ingredients and add no preservatives, resulting in a refreshing, real brewed tea with a perfectly balanced aroma, body and flavor. I LOVE brewed tea. I have tried other bottle or canned teas and they never come close so I'm very anxious to see how this one taste. I even got sweet tea, which everybody knows down south the sweeter the better! But it didn't matter, I made up my mind if I got unsweet I would have just added a few packs of sugar.
I've tried the Softlips Cube in another voxbox and loved it. It is soft, great smelling and my lips feel amazing after using. Added bonus there is SPF in it so I used it all summer long when I was outside, which was pretty much from sun up to sundown. The scent I got is Pomegranate Berry and there are two other scents available Mint and Vanilla. I think those both sound amazing too so I will try another scent soon.
I was excited to see the Elizabeth Arden Flawless Future Serum in this voxbox. I love Elizabeth Arden skin care but it is slightly pricey for my budget. Every other skin care product I have used worked great so I have extremely high hope for this serum. It is generous sample size and there are pearl beads in it. Formulated to help reinforce skin's essential moisture barrier, even skin tone, and texture, and reduce the appearance of early signs of wrinkles for a revitalized complexion.
I also received Playtex Sport Tampons in a previous voxbox but I have no complaints about another box. Great for the active girl geared towards sports players. But if they can offer no worries protection during a sports game, they will be amazing for a busy working mom.
I got a tube of First Degree Burn which will come in handy around here. I have had numerous curling wand ouches so although I'm hoping not to need it, I see using it in the near future. Formulated to help repair skin's damage for all types of minor burns whether it's from cooking, grilling, or beauty tools -- it even helps with razor burn. This sounds like a must have product for moms, dads, and beauty queens. I can't wait to test this.. well I sort of hope I don't need it anytime soon but you know.
I also got a sample of Bikini Ready Energy Gummies. Being honest, I don't take many supplements and have to be super careful about energy supplements. But these are B12 vitamin supplement that act like an energy booster. So along with diet and exercise this helps boost your metabolism and maximize your workouts.

I have never had the need for press on nails. I have always thought they were super cute but my nails are long and normally they don't fit. When I received a pack of Kiss Everlasting French nails in my Spring Fling VoxBox from Influenster I was sorta meh about it. I figured they would be useless to me no matter how much I wanted to try them.
I noticed on the pack it said medium and was hopeful so I opened the package and started measuring. As you can see they are pretty long. To my surprise I found nails to fit all of my fingers. They also come in different sizes if these are too long for your taste. I was very happy because I love French manicures. As much as I love wild and crazy colors/mani there is something classy and eloquent about a French manicure. It's perfect for weddings, job interviews, you name it you can wear a French mani with confidence.
The Kiss Everlasting nails are VERY easy to use. There really is no guess work clean your nails, apply glue to the nail that fits that finger, and stick. That's easier than painting any day. Then once applied all of your nails are the same length and shape. That NEVER happens naturally for me. I try but like everyone my nails break and grow at different times.
No need to wait for your nails to dry. I don't have time to go to the salon and sit under the lamps. The only time I went to nail shop for a French Mani I left and obviously my nails were not completely dry so they chipped on the way home. I was NOT happy about that. Kiss says these will not chip, crack, or wear away for 7 days of normal wear. I don't know what they call normal wear around my house there is lots of dishes and chores.
These look very natural and are very comfortable to wear. It didn't feel like I was wearing fake nails at all. The didn't rub or get caught on anything. My husband who looked at them before I put them on and said "eww fake nails, those look horrible." Then after I put them on he said "Oh those look nice, they don't look fake at all"
So how did they hold up? Sorry to report they only lasted a few hours. I lost one doing one of my chores so I took the rest off. The other may have held up but one of my animals was chewing on the one I lost so I figured I should be safe and remove them all. They are very easy to remove, just cut a small section and they pop right off. DO NOT try to pull them off without cutting them. This will cause unnecessary pain.
Final verdict, I would wear these on special occasions at $6.49 a box they are much less expensive than getting your nails done and they look salon professional. Not to mention the time saved. No going to the salon, waiting for them do your nail, then waiting for them to dry. So just because I lost one on the first day, I will not write them off as a loss. The box came with 28 nails so I will keep the others for a special day.
