Fe Fit Women's Workout Program

Since last year I made a resolution to be more active and get in shape. I was doing great with my gym membership during the summer. But now with school it's hard for me to slip away after work. When I do that leaves my husband with homework and then we don't get to eat until 7:00 - 7:30. That's extremely late for children who have to get up at four in the morning. So it got to the point where I was going once a week and my fitness goals went out the window. Which is what typically happens to busy mothers.

So i was very excited to review this Fe Fit workout program. I love that I can do it at my house and at my leisure. I can do most of the workouts for my 30 minute lunch and some for my 15 minute break. OHH I should mention I work from home so I can be sweaty for the rest of the day. When I pulled everything out I saw the workout schedule and did the first suggested workout. Now I mentioned I was going to the gym faithfully right? Well this workout was a huge challenge for me. I tried to entice my husband to join me but he claimed it was too girly, but I swear he couldn't hang.

When they say FULL body workout they mean it. I was so sore the next day and could feel all the muscles in my arms and legs. Which is a great thing, most of the time. it's really easy moves, nothing complicated to learn even for spastic people like myself.
The next day i was very confused because the workout suggested something different . Then I discovered there are a few different programs to choose from there is a 21 day program to a 13 week program so you can loose that little extra you need to fit into that dress or you can do a long term 13 week program if that works better for you. I have yet to decide what program I'm doing.

I have just been doing the workouts which are very challenging but nothing I can't manage. I love the Stretch and Flow disc they are amazing. They are very relaxing and made my muscle feel much better. Since there are 28 workouts on 8 discs i never have to get board with the workouts. Also my muscles will not get used to the same routine over and over. The programs are VERY easy to understand and are very easy to follow, I just need to take the time for myself and do them. The trainer on the disc is easy to follow and there are modified versions if I can't do the full version of the exercise. I have had to use her a few times.
Overall I think this may do better for me than a gym.

1. I can do this at my house
2. I get a better full body workout in 30 minutes than I do at the gym in 50 minutes.
3. I can do more than one course a day. I can do a core workout in the morning then a cardio in the evening. ~~ Can't do that at the gym
4. A routine mapped out for me. There are days that I wonder at the gym how i can do more to lose my stomach.

So I am very pleased with the Fe Fit Workout Program. But please let me recommend grabbing the one that includes the equipment. I had to buy a ring and my bands are not long enough so I'm still searching for some that will work better than the ones I have.

Gecko Yoga BackPack

A backpack is a backpack right? NOPE I was so wrong in thinking that way. I don't necessarily do Yoga but i use my Yoga mat for a lot. It's perfect for any floor exercises but I have never thought to bring mine to the gym with me. They have mats there but the thought of using them is pretty gross to me. So I save the floor exercise for home.

But this bag is amazing so I might be able to bring all my gym essentials and my Yoga mat with me. The backpack itself is loaded with little pouches and places to store things.

I comes with a bag for my Yoga mat so it stays clean even in tow. The clamps keep the yoga mat securely in place, much more secure than I would have thought. The straps are adjustable so whether you have a smaller grade mat that's thinner or a thick mat they will bot fit secure. The two big zippered pouches are VERY roomy and I was able to put my Yoga Towel, wiping towel, and lifting gloves and still have tons of room to spare. There is a side pouch that I will be able to slide a bottle of water or my mist in.

The material is awesome and very sturdy. It's not like those cheap backpacks where it's thin material. It's also going to be easy to clean with a wet towel.

Even with the Yoga mat securely in place the bag is super comfortable to carry and the back strap is very wide. It slide over the shoulder and doesn't' weigh me down. The weight is also (surprisingly) distributed evenly so there is no discomfort to me at all. This would be a great pack to bring hiking or to a concert, zoo any activity where you would carry a bag. After all attaching the mat is optional but that strap could be used for a picnic blanket.

My Thoughts:
I used resistance bands as part of therapy at the rehab center when I shattered my wrist and these are just as good as the high quality bands that they had me using. My Thoughts:
I found these very easy to sync with my phone and table and comfortable to wear. Phone calls were clear and easy to hear. Loving to listen to music while working out to help motivate me the sound of the music from this set was important. I found the quality of the music from the headset to be impressive. I have given previous sets to my boyfriend but this set will be mine. My Thoughts:
This bag from Red Fox Sports is made from a nice heavy canvas and is well stitched. With the four straps you can put it in the front or back of the frame. I put this bag on her beach cruiser for my Mom in just a few seconds. Mom likes it in the front on the frame just behind the handlebars and it was nice that I could put it were she wanted it. With this bag she has someplace that she can put items that she needs to keep with her. It is essential that she keep her emergency diabetic kit close by at all times and it fit perfectly in the bag. There was even room for her credit card holder, keys, and a few other small items. She is very happy with her new bag.

My Thoughts:
I got a size medium for my boyfriend who wears a size 10 shoe and they fit perfectly. He has wanted a pair of compression socks to wear while doing his twenty mile bike rides for a while now. When they arrived he wore them around the house and they felt so good he thought about wearing them to bed. My Thoughts:
This is a great recovery product since it meets so many of your needs post workout. Whey protein isolate which this product contains is the preferred and best form of whey for recovery. Collagen sport also is a good source of daily vitamins and minerals. You can feel a difference in your recovery time as well as a lower incidence in fatigue when you start taking the Neocell Sport regularly. Just add a scoop or two to milk or water and mix well. Aqua Training Bags

Most of you know that i have been into getting active and fit lately. I was in Karate and loved and I love to box on WII it's such a good workout. My husbands loves a punching bag and has been looking for one. When I was able to work with Aqua Training bags to review a set of their bags I was SO excited.

Keep in mind I have never used a punching/boxing bag expect for small one so I had no idea what to expect. I got the package in and it was HEAVY, 60 pounds to be exact. So I let my husband open it and it lit up with excitement. There are two different bags in the box one is smaller than the other but they are both the same. He immediately grabbed the larger bag and filled it up.  It took a few minutes to fill it completely with water, the attachment nozzle is included, so it's was done without a mess.

It was so easy to hang, we did it before we filled it up so it wouldn't be so heavy. We found an open 2x4 on the porch and slid the chain around it to our preferred height.

The material of this bag is so nice and strong and then filled with water it provides a nice surface for punching. My husband said this is just like punching a person. Skin and bones is not soft and squishy. So it is ONLY safe to punch if you are wearing protective gear.

We happened to have sparring gear so we suited up and started punching. That bag did not give at first. I felt like I was not moving it. It didn't take long before I was sweaty and out of breath. So I know I got a great workout. The next day I could feel my abs and arms so a punching bag is a total body workout.

We recently invested in a pair of boxing gloves and that made the workout even more amazing. I was not scared to hit hard because my hand and wrists were completely protected. I wailed on that bag  for a good long time. It's even big enough to get some knees in. Once we get a sturdier place to hang it we will lower it for some kicking action. Talk about an amazing full body workout.

With the amazing material it will not get stained because it will easily wipe clean.  It's also perfect for indoor AND outdoor use. I love that. We can hang one inside and one outside if we want. Since the material is also not clothe and has no seams, it won't rip or tear at the seams.  With it's unique tear drop shape makes it easy to deliver a lot of different combination punches. I would like to see a longer one for kicking/leg work.

My kids join in on the action. They love to put on the glove and box the bag. This is an amazing bag that is a great way to get the entire family off the couch.  Getting fit while having fun is always an amazing thing.

PKB The Portable Kettlebell

I have been wanted to try a kettlebell. Kettlebell exercises are really effective and good for the entire body. One of my favorite ab videos calls for a kettlebell but I have been improvising with a regular weight. That is not quite as effective but that's what I had. Until I got to try the PKB (Portable KettleBell) . This one is really unique because it is not metal.

It is made of cloth and is filled with sand (or anything around). That put you in control because the one I got to review hold up to 15 pounds. So if you can't hand 15 pounds just yet, fill it up to the weight you are comfortable with. Then once you are ready for the extra weight, fill it up so more until it gets to the max. Then if you are ready for even more weight they have 2 more options that are up go up 45 lbs.

The PKB is a really nice tough material and the handles are covered with a plastic grip to make it more durable and comfortable. No worrying about the weight of the kettlebell ripping the handle in two while you are lifting it.

Another great thing is this kettlebell it totally portable. Imagine packing a metal weight in a suite case. With all the regulations and weight requirements that's never going to happen right? But this one can be emptied an folded flat for storage/portability.

I never thought to take a picture with it folded but it does fold very neatly.

As I'm entering my third trimester of my pregnancy journey, I can't stress enough how important it is to stay healthy and to be physically active. This pregnancy, I've struggled since my first trimester with Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (SPD). Most have never heard of this and some may experience it late in their third trimester. I've been going through extensive physical therapy as well as chiropractic treatment since I was 7 weeks pregnant to strengthen my core and pelvic muscles. Among the many exercises I do daily, having an exercise ball has helped a lot. In this review, I will outline the following points:

The right size exercise ball depends on your height. The shorter you are, the smaller the ball diameter size. Generally an exercise ball is the right fit for you if you can sit on the ball with your feet flat on the ground and have your pelvis, shoulders, and ears in a vertical line (not leaning in any direction). There are so many exercises and benefits to using an exercise ball while pregnant. These are fantastic for strengthening your core and pelvic muscles to get you ready for labor and delivery. Advantages, Disadvantages & my personal experience with DynaPro Exercise Ball

When I got my DynaPro exercise ball I was initially disappointed with the packaging. The package itself was beat up and the contents were falling out. Obviously not the greatest first impression. However, once I put together everything and pumped up the exercise ball, I was very pleased.



I love the way this ball feels grippy as its made with a durable, professional grade PVC so I'm not afraid of it slipping from underneath me whether I'm on hardwood flooring or carpet. I liked the fact that this ball came with its own pump and an extra plug making it convenient for me as I did not have a pump and would have to go purchase one. This exercise ball comes in one size, which means it was a little big for me as I'm barely 5'2. Although this didn't stop me from being able to do all the exercises I needed, plus my husband could use it as well. This product comes with instructions on how to blow up the ball with the given pump but there are no other instructions or other information about this particular exercise ball. Overall, I had a great experience with the DynaPro exercise ball and would recommend it to anyone looking for a durable, professional, multi-use exercise ball.

I love an exercise ball it makes it easy to challenge yourself when doing sit ups and other exercises. It can be used is in so many different exercises so your workout never gets boring.

Comfortably Carry your yoga mat and much more

My mats are just rolled up in a corner of the room. If I don't roll them just right, they come unrolled and get in the way. i was very happy when I was asked to review this Yoga Bag complimentary. I have never owned a yoga bag so I was not sure what to expect. When I pulled the bag out of the package the first thing I noticed was how pretty the lotus design is. In addition to being a very attractive bag the material is very nice as well. It feels soft yet sturdy. There are two handles one to wear as an over the shoulder bag and the other one is a hand held.

The roominess is AMAZING there is a zippered pouch on top that is big enough for keys, credit cards, or anything else you need to tuck away while exercising. The inside comfortably fits my mat and towel with enough room for a change of clothes. Plus there is a two zippered pouches on the inside with lots of room to put any toiletries you bring with you to the gym.

It has lots of ventilation being mesh on one side and little holes in the front, This will prevent sweaty clothes from holding the moisture and smelling like a locker room. Over all I am very happy with this yoga bag I will probably get another one for my other mat. It just stores the mat and towel so neat.

Youphoria Yoga Mat Givaway Review + Giveaway

I don't necessarily do yoga, I'm a little too clumsy for that but I love Pilates.  Also I use a yoga mat almost every time I exercise. It makes it easier for me to get on the floor and do sit up without irritating my asthma. It also gives me more cushion while I'm on the floor which makes my back more comfortable when I'm doing sit ups and my knees more comfortable if I'm doing lunges or squats.  So I was very happy to work with Youphoria Yoga and review their Yoga mat for y'all.

What I never thought about is a mat also stops your feet from sliding and it stabilizes your hands and feet during  a workout. With it's proprietary grip circles on the bottom it stops the mat from sliding even on the smoothest surface. 

The Youphoria Yoga Mat is a great grade, high density and pretty thick and made out of memory foam. This material will not wear like other mats. I really didn't know Yoga mats came in different grades until I was in the market for one. The higher the grade the thicker the mat. The thicker the mat the better support it gives. 

I was so very happy when I saw the mat came with a carry handle. this not only keeps makes the mat very portable, it makes the mat stay together while not in use. I can't tell you how many times I have had to re-roll my old mat so this was very exciting to me. 

As you can see the mat is a nice size in length as well as width so there is plenty of room to move around.  The mats come in different colors so if pink is not your thing don't worry!

It's ecofriendly and free of harsh chemicals and toxins so it's completely safe for you and your family. Another thing I want to mention is it is made to be odor free and it is. I have pulled out a smelly mat before so this is a good thing as well.
