Lifting Gloves

The other day my husband was saying he needed some type of support for his wrist when he lifts. Since I lift a fraction of the weight he does so decided to let him have these wraps. But I did check them out first. They are very nicely made and the quality if great. I think they will last a long time even with a lot of use.

They are very adjustable I put them around my wrist and there was a ton of slack so they will fit a variety of sizes. They thumb strap is pretty comfortable considering I thought it would rub and make me raw.
The wraps are easy to put on and take off. They Velcro close and stay closed once one.

They are not constricting or uncomfortable to wear even when moving. My husband really likes how they support his wrist while he is lifting. He uses them every time he works out

Rhythm+ Heart Rate Monitor

My sister is always talking about her heart rate monitor so I was very curious to use one.  I had never had one before but she explained that it is beneficial to know if you are reaching your maximum heart rate for a cardio  workout. So when I was chosen to work with Fitness on the Run to review the Rhythm + Heart Rate Monitor I was so excited.

This one is amazing because you do not need to have a chest strap, it accurately reads your heart rate from an arm band. It comes in super cute colors so it's not a boring band on your arm. The band is a great quality it hasn't ripped or tore. It fits great and it will stretch when I need it to.

It's very comfortable to wear and the location does not get in the way of any of my workouts even lifting weights. It never moved even during the most strenuous part of my workout. The material is breathable so it wasn't wet and sweaty like some of my accessories get.

There is an app for the Rhythm+ but it is recommended that you download one of the recommended apps to work in unison.  The app is very detailed as but it only read your heart-rate and calories burned.   The other apps track movement as well.

Posturizer Fitness Bar

I've mentioned my posture before so if you noticed I said I don't have bad posture. But I don't want to START having bad posture either. I want to keep my posture so my back can be strong and healthy. I never worried about any of that before but since the birthdays keep coming I've started to take more precautions that I used to.

So when I saw the Posturizer Bar I was very excited to try it. What is the Posturizer you ask? Well it is a 3 foot long weighted bar that helps improve posutre that leads to arthritis and accelerated aging.  It helps fix bad posture through various workout positions.

You can do tons of exercise position with the Posturizer. It's lightweight although it is designed to work as a weight. It's really all you need to some resistance.

No you don't have to spend a ton of time searching for those workouts.  The package comes with an instructional video, How to poster, and how to get your posture score. So knowing your posture score is a big thing because then you know exactly what you need to work on and can see improvements as they are being made.

As I'm entering my third trimester of my pregnancy journey, I can't stress enough how important it is to stay healthy and to be physically active. This pregnancy, I've struggled since my first trimester with Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (SPD). Most have never heard of this and some may experience it late in their third trimester. I've been going through extensive physical therapy as well as chiropractic treatment since I was 7 weeks pregnant to strengthen my core and pelvic muscles. Among the many exercises I do daily, having an exercise ball has helped a lot. In this review, I will outline the following points:

The right size exercise ball depends on your height. The shorter you are, the smaller the ball diameter size. Generally an exercise ball is the right fit for you if you can sit on the ball with your feet flat on the ground and have your pelvis, shoulders, and ears in a vertical line (not leaning in any direction). There are so many exercises and benefits to using an exercise ball while pregnant. These are fantastic for strengthening your core and pelvic muscles to get you ready for labor and delivery. Not only are these exercise balls great for prenatal daily use, but they're also used in yoga, pilates, and home gyms as well as an aid in pregnancy labor and delivery.

Advantages, Disadvantages & my personal experience with DynaPro Exercise Ball

When I got my DynaPro exercise ball I was initially disappointed with the packaging. The package itself was beat up and the contents were falling out. Obviously not the greatest first impression. However, once I put together everything and pumped up the exercise ball, I was very pleased.



I love the way this ball feels grippy as its made with a durable, professional grade PVC so I'm not afraid of it slipping from underneath me whether I'm on hardwood flooring or carpet. I liked the fact that this ball came with its own pump and an extra plug making it convenient for me as I did not have a pump and would have to go purchase one. This exercise ball comes in one size, which means it was a little big for me as I'm barely 5'2. Although this didn't stop me from being able to do all the exercises I needed, plus my husband could use it as well. This product comes with instructions on how to blow up the ball with the given pump but there are no other instructions or other information about this particular exercise ball. Overall, I had a great experience with the DynaPro exercise ball and would recommend it to anyone looking for a durable, professional, multi-use exercise ball.

I love an exercise ball it makes it easy to challenge yourself when doing sit ups and other exercises. It can be used is in so many different exercises so your workout never gets boring.

Comfortably Carry your yoga mat and much more

My mats are just rolled up in a corner of the room. If I don't roll them just right, they come unrolled and get in the way. i was very happy when I was asked to review this Yoga Bag complimentary. I have never owned a yoga bag so I was not sure what to expect. When I pulled the bag out of the package the first thing I noticed was how pretty the lotus design is. In addition to being a very attractive bag the material is very nice as well. It feels soft yet sturdy. There are two handles one to wear as an over the shoulder bag and the other one is a hand held.

The roominess is AMAZING there is a zippered pouch on top that is big enough for keys, credit cards, or anything else you need to tuck away while exercising. The inside comfortably fits my mat and towel with enough room for a change of clothes. Plus there is a two zippered pouches on the inside with lots of room to put any toiletries you bring with you to the gym.

It has lots of ventilation being mesh on one side and little holes in the front, This will prevent sweaty clothes from holding the moisture and smelling like a locker room. Over all I am very happy with this yoga bag I will probably get another one for my other mat. It just stores the mat and towel so neat.

NeoCell skin care and more

A few weeks ago I teamed up with other bloggers to offer y'all a huge Neocell giveaway. Today I'm back with another Neocell giveaway but this time I was lucky enough to try these products. So in this post I get to tell y'all all about them. Neocell has a lot of antiaging supplements and chews but they also offer topical antiaging products.

The first product is Alpha-Cell-Exfoliator-Step-ll it is a clear liquid that works or is basically a toner. With natural ingredients like green tea, and natural fruit acid it extracts dissolve dead cells on skin's surface to reveal fresh, younger looking skin, smooth lines, even skin tone, and revive skin's youthful radiance.

I have used lots of toners and this one has by far been my favorite. It reminds me of when I was young and used Sea Breeze. I distinctly remember how amazing my face felt then. That is what the Alpha Cell Exfoliator reminds me of. I don't get the extremely cooling sensation but a slight good feeling one. I love to clean my face with it because not only does my face feel clean it feels smooth and soft as well. You can tell there is no or low alcohol base because if I forget to put on moisturizer after my face does not feel dry.

The next one is a Collagen Moisturizing Treatment Masque. It a moisturizing masque and can be used 3 times a week or any time moisture is needed. It is like any other masque you put it on and it dries in 10 - 20 minutes.  I have never used a moisture masque only cleansing masque.  I was very curious to see this work.

I will say it smells strong it's not a bad smell or a good smell it just a smell. I am really bad with smells but I'm just making note of it because tolerated this one fine. It is very thick but surprisingly easy to spread. It was not messy either I only had to wipe my finger tips. I have used some masque that I felt I had to bathe after .

Just like it went on with no mess, it washed off with no mess or residue. Once I washed it off I felt like my face had a surge of moisture.
