Before this review I had not heard of Anavita products. I am always open to trying  a new moisturizer so I was extremely excited to review the Moisturizing Anti-Wrinkle Cream for y'all.  As the years go by any moisturizer with the words "Anti-Wrinkle" in them is my friend.

I love using this anti-aging moisturizer my skin feels amazing while it's on. But more importantly after I have washed my face it still feels fantastic.  It feels hydrated and soft and looks smooth and blemish free. I know it is not a blemish cream but I felt that is important to mention. Some times when I try a new product, I break out.

Tips to pick the right facial moisturizer

So you have decided it's time to pick a facial moisturizer but where do you start. You are standing in the isle looking at the sea of endless possibilities so which one do you choose. First you have to decide do you want gel or cream, scented or unscented, and what skin type do you need to treat, how much do you want to spend, do you really need to spend THAT much. It's enough to make your head spin. When I first started using moisturizer I went to the lady behind the Clinique counter and she told me everything I needed to know.

Then I ran into hard times and realized I couldn't keep spending that much on skin care, when there were TONS of other possibilities. I had to see if they worked the same. So I started on my skin care search. I had a lot of notions that have since proven wrong. Do you have some of the same? Let's see.

The first thing I thought was I had dry skin. I suffer with eczema on occasion so I would get dry patches but then I would get VERY oily. So come to find out my skin wasn't so oily after all. I have normal/ oily skin instead. I was making the mistake of treating an occasional problem everyday, which was not necessary. The worse part is I was making my skin super oily which made me search to correct a problem that I was essentially creating!

Another misconception I had was I had to stick with one brand so I never mismatched. I thought that was a big NO NO. That misconception hurt me a lot because I thought when I needed new moisturizer I had to buy the rest of the skin care regimen as well.  I don't know why I thought that was necessary maybe because all I used for a long time was Clinque. And I mean everything Clinque but my husband claimed it was the best and it worked fine for me.  When I started blogging, I started using LOTS of different brands. I even used them together. I was fine, nothing bad happened in fact my face started looking great!

The last thing I believed is I had to spend a small fortune on moisturizer. Don't get me wrong most experts say you should splurge on skin care -- which includes moisturizers But that doesn't mean you have to buy the most expensive to get the best. I have come to release spending more does not always mean you get better. Some of my favorite masque cost $2.00  a piece and one of my favorite face washes is from Olay. Olay has been around forever so it must be a good product right!?!?!

Do your research this will help a lot. If you see a bad review, that's not necessarily a bad product but beware if there are lots of bad reviews. I'm sure you already know, you can't believe everything your read online. Check out the reviews on the brands website.  There are many tools online to help: Olay can help you see what products are right for you, Simple Skincare  has a skin forecast to help customize your skin care based on your city and the weather and these are not the only ones.

Just remember don't over spend on moisturizer but under spend on the rest of your skin care regimen it's all important. If you are still looking for that perfect moisturizer don't be afraid to try LOTS of different ones. You may hate some but you will more than likely love some as well. Just know your skin type and don't make the mistake that I did and treat an occasional on a daily basis. If you break out once a month, during that time don't use acne fighting skin care on an every day basis.  Also when the seasons change your skin care needs will change as well. So you may have 2 or 3 moisturizers that you alternate between.

InstaNatural Rose Hip Oil and Moroccan Rose Water

I really love trying new all natural products so when I was chosen to review 2 products from InstaNatural I was very excited. I received the Organic Rose Hip Oil and Moroccan Rose Water to review for y'all. I was happy to see that one was a toner/cleanser and the other was  moisturizer (along with many other uses). That meant I could use them together.

I tried the Pure Moroccan Rose Water on clean skin as a toner. Just put a little on a cotton ball and made one sweep across my face. For some reason I immediately fell in love with it. It's a clear liquid and has a slight smell of roses which is inviting and invigorating to me. After use my face always feels clean with no sticky, tacky, or oily feeling.

The 100% Pure Rose Hip and Seed Oil was not love at first use, it took me  little while to get accustomed to using an oil instead of cream/lotion for my moisturizer. But that doesn't mean I didn't eventually fall in love. It's bottle comes with an eyedropper dispenser and the texture is an oil which means almost watery and runny so it takes a little practice to get it just right. The strange thing is it doesn't feel like an oil, it's very silky and smooth feeling so that was a big thumbs up in my book. It quickly absorbed and left NO residue on my skin. No oily shine, no flaking, no stickiness, nothing almost like it wasn't there.  That includes under makeup as well I experiences no peeling, flaking, blotching just beautiful clean skin. In addition to skin rejuvenation, InstaNatural Rose Hip Seed Oil is also provides anti-aging benefits, helps repair scar tissues & UV Damage.

After using the two combined my skin looks radiant and rejuvenated after a week and a half of use. My pores are also not as noticeable.  I have been using the Rose Hip Oil on a scar for 2 weeks and I have noticed it is beginning to fade. It is lighter and less raised. So I give them two thumbs up, actually I love these and would purchase them once these are empty.

I've only used the Anti-Aging moisturizer for week now but my face feels amazing. It's super soft without making me oily. I would recommend trying this I love the way it makes my face feel so rejuvenated and refreshed and I love the way it makes my face look.

Gold Elements - D'or Facial Cream

I recently got to review D'Or Facial Cream from Gold Elements. I have never heard of Gold Elements until now and when I got my package I was very intrigued by how classy and rich it looked. The package is white with gold trim but it is one of, if not, the prettiest skin care packages I have ever seen.  Even the bottle reminds me of the ones my grandmother had her vanity and she has impeccable taste if you know what I mean.

It is made with refreshing ingredients that assist in counteracting the external evidence of skin aging. Helps condition and re-balance the skin leaving it feeling fresh, smooth, and healthy looking.   

It comes in a jar and you dip your fingers in to grab some moisturizer for application. The moisturizer is very thick in the jar but comes out very easily. It also applies very easily, feels silky, and absorbs in seconds with no residue. There is a light pleasant smell but only when applying. Which to me that is perfect I don't want to smell my face cream all day.

After a few days of use my face feels great, I love putting this on my face. I use it as a day and night moisturizer because it's lightweight, actually weightless so it wears great under make up. I give the D'Or Facial Cream two thumbs up.

Tobi's Touch review

I was lucky enough to be chosen to receive products complimentary for testing purposes from Tobi's Touch. Their website offers a huge variety of custom blended natural skin care products. They have skin care for babies with eczema which is awesome to me. All of my children had eczema when they were babies and I hated to use such strong medicine on them but nothing else worked. Had I known about Tobi's Touch I would love to have tried something natural on my babies.

Hand blended and made from natural material they are not your usual moisturizers. To be honest I was a little skeptical when I first saw them because the consistency is for both is much thinner then  I'm used to. It helped to shake sort of like you shake a nail polish bottle. Then apply like any other moisturizer by rubbing into your face and neck. A little trick I was told was always rub in an upward motion so you don't pull against the elastin in your skin. Is this set in stone? Doubtful but it's just something I like to do maybe its an old wives tale.

 I had never used an elixir so I wasn't sure what to expect. It's just a little bottle with a dropper in it and you squeeze lightly to get the elixir out. It is not extremely thick but it is not watery either. Once I started using them that didn't matter much at all. After two days of using my face felt amazing and it was softer and smoother. The difference was unbelievable. I have never skimped on the moisturizer and have used some sort of regimen since I was in my.... well lets just say when I was a little younger. Nothing has made my skin feel so amazing. The most amazing part is my face feels like this all of the time. It's not just right after I put the serum on.  Needless to say I love these products! Coola Tinted Moisturizer

I received a deluxe sample of the Coola Tinted Moisturizer in on my previous Ipsy glambags. Coola has an SPF 20 in it so it has some form of sunscreen which is a plus. It is also hypoallergenic, paraben free, ultra sheer, anti-aging, and water resistant for up to 40 minutes. I've read it's rose scented but I never really smelled anything.

I never gave much thought to a tinted moisturizer because I would use a foundation over my moisturizer. I thought there was no reason for my moisturizer to be tinted and never would have tried one if not for Ispy. This moisturizer is amazing it blends in perfectly with my skin tone and stays on all day without creasing or peeling. The only time I felt it made my skin feel/look oily is when I put it on too soon after my usual moisturizer. I know I probably didn't need it but I just can't help myself. This one is in my make up drawer so I consider it my make up, not my skin care.

It absorbs but the tint stays enough to make a perfect primer for my foundation.  You all know from a previous post I like to layer my BBCream and foundation but using this makes my make up look flawless.I work ten hours a day, come home cook super, and do homework but my makeup is still there when I wash my face at night.

I was wearing this at the office and a coworker was talking about how she wanted her makeup to look like she had make up on. She went on to say "you know, like the movie stars"  Then when she looked up she said, well like yours looks right now.

I have also taken the lazy way out and wore this alone without foundation. My husband said I looked like I had a sun-kissed glow, that could be useful at times.
