It's Looksbook Time again. I get so excited to see the Looksbook theme every month! This month is Shimmering Future.  I was a little iffy about this box when I saw gold eyeliner I thought not for me. But the rest of the box works for me. I love the eyeshadow color and the lipstick is amazing!

Just like previous Looksbook deliveries this month's book has three pieces of makeup eyeliner, eyeshadow duo, and a lipstick. The come in deluxe samples in other words. the perfect sizes.


Just in case you are like me and need a little inspiration.  The top of the book has pictures with tips on how to complete the perfect look with those products. I love that they are connected to the box so I don't have to worry about them falling off and getting misplaced.

So what's in my Looksbook?

Eyeshadow duo in Fortune 500:
Two super shimmery colors one is a gold the other is a pink/purple. But it depends on the lighting because they seems to change colors at different angles. It goes on beautifully and is okay even for a day look. It doesn't crease but It did fade a lot. I think it's because of the cream primer I used so I will try again.

Tube of Lipstick in Opulence:
Is a really beautiful purple/ plum shade. It's is perfect for winter. It's a deep succulent color that has a dark sex appeal to it. It is made for date night or nights out in the club. I love it and can't wait to have a place to wear it.

The eyeliner in Golden Ticket:
This one totally threw me off. It's a GOLD color I don't think I will use it. I could have used it with my Halloween costume but i can't imagine wearing it for everyday life. Maybe for a club but it's not my cup of tea.

This month's Lookbook is great even if I don't like the eyeliner! It's Looksbook time again

That's right it's Lookbook time again. I'm excited about the October Looksbook from Starlooks.  October's theme is Utopia (an imagined place or state of things in which everything is perfect) Which is fitting because the colors are PERFECT 

Just in case your new to my blog and don't know what LooksBook is ~~ It's a fairly unique monthly subscription box. That comes in a book type package with themed looks. The colors work together to complete a look.  The look is delivered to your door monthly

Each book is small box that holds the three pieces of makeup in place so it's very portable. Each month is a different type and color makeup.

The books are very easy to toss in my purse or gym bag.  This month's book has pot liner, lipgloss, and a blush stick. All of them are deluxe size samples in other words the samples create a sensation of Utopia .

Each month the book comes with tips and pics on how to complete the perfect look. I love that all the samples are secure in the box so I don't have to worry about them falling all over the place. The pictures/tips are connected so they aren't going anywhere either.

September's Starlooks, Looksbook

This is my second Starlooks Lookbook and so excited. The "look" or theme is Revival and the colors are STUNNING!! I can't wait to start playing and creating looks.

So what's in my Looksbook?

Eyeshadow duo in Agave:
I fell in love with the eye shadow duo the minute i opened the box. Then when when I saw the picture of it applied, I loved it even more. They are both beautiful matte colors 

Tube of Lipstick in Rawr:
Is a really beautiful mauve, magenta shade.  This is a color i would have picked out myself. It is a little bright but it's a perfect fall color. I couldn't wait to wear it!








The mascara in Flora:
This one totally threw me off. It's a teal color and I was not expecting that. It's is much prettier than I was expecting and once I saw the picture in the tips I couldn't wait to use it.









This month's Lookbook exceeded my expectations!! So I'll say it again of all the subscription boxes this is one of my favorites.

Starlooks LooksBook

When Starlooks announced the launching of LookBook I was not sure what to expect.  But I'm so excited to have discovered Starlooks LOOKBOOK. It's a monthly subscription but it's a book with a themed look delivered to your door every month. 

Unlike Starlooks Custom StarBox you do not get to choose your products. Call me me crazy but I like that. It's a big surprise and although I'm very anxious I appreciate a surprise package every now and then. 

So the book is a little compact box that holds the makeup in place so it's very portable. It would be easy to toss in my purse or gym bag. I have I opened the book and there is a lipstick, eyeshadow stick, and highlighter/blush.  They are deluxe samples so they I think they are the perfect size. 

Then the top of the book has tips on how to complete the perfect look with those products. That is connected to the books so they will not fall off and be misplaced. 

    

 The Theme is Resort Edition so the look is tropical. I was a little leery of the Aqua eyeshadow but the color is not that bad. I may not fully cover my eyelid but it would be great for an accent color.   

The lipstick, Jet Set,  is a really pretty peach color. The blush in the duo is a peachy color as well. So the resort look is very exotic and tropical.  But it is also light and refreshing so there is nothing overbearing about the colors.


Of all the subscription boxes I have tried this is my favorite. It's not so much the products (but they are awesome too) but the concept as well.  Starlooks is sending me a different look to try every month. That means they are going to introduce me to colors I may never have tried.

Then being in a compact book I can easily throw two or three in my suitcase/camper and have three different looks without taking up too much space.

February's Starbox from Starlooks

So it's time to see what's in my February Starbox. Starbox is a monthly subscription box that delivers 3 -4 full size Starlooks products to your door for $15.00 per month plus shipping. They also ship internationally for all my international friends.  I loved me my January box so lets see what's in this one.

The first thing I pulled out is a full size Cream Eye Shadow in Phaser which is a beautiful purple shade. I love purple shadows so I was very excited when I saw the color. When I swatched it I was even more excited it is slight shimmer. It feels so smooth and glides super easy. I can't wait to wear this shadow. This alone sells for roughly $12.00 that almost paid for my box right there!

The next thing is Pigment in Wall Street this is a shiny black glimmer that can be used to add color to just about any thing. Mix it with foundation or moisturize for bronzer. Of course I won't use this color for bronzer but I can see it making a pretty eyeliner.  There are tons of pretty colors to choose from.  This sells for  $17.00 by itself so it has paid for the box in full.

The next thing I got is a Starlooks lipstick in BFF which is a bronze light gold shimmer, only a slight hint of color but enough to add a pretty shine. This sells for $12.00 a piece.

The last thing I got which I am very excited about is a head band to wear while applying makeup. I like the material and it fits well and is very comfortable to wear. It holds ALL of my hair back which is great. I have other head bands but they seem to hide and I am always looking for one. This one will come in handy until it hides so this one will come in handy.

Starlooks is 100% cruelty free so that is a huge plus. They are not only US based which is excited because I know other subscription boxes are US only. Starlooks January 2014 Starbox

It's no secret that I love monthly subscription boxes. I've said it time and time again it's like opening presents every month.  Only these presents are beauty related so that makes it even better.  When I got to review a Starbox I was super excited this one is filled with Starlooks makeup.  I have gotten Starlooks before and love it.  I was SOOOO happy when I saw what was in my box, it is filled with amazingness and for the price wow!!

The first thing I got was Starlooks FasionLashes professional, the box includes lashes and the glue. They look very full and natural. I have not mastered application so I only use lashes on special occasions. These sell for $13.00

A full size tube of Starlooks Tender Gloss in Puzzy which is a light shade of pink. Tender Gloss combines the property of lipgloss and lipstick. It's a very smooth application that leaves a soft shine. Sells for $13.00

A full size pot of Infinity EyeLiner in Orion which is a STUNNING shade of teal. it is so vibrant that all I want to do is look at it. This sells for $13.00

A full size Lip Gloss in Pearl Necklace which like the name insinuates is very shiny and sheer but leaves beautiful shine. This sells for $12.00

As an added bonus I got a mini zebra print nail file, priceless.

So let's see how much everything is full size and sells for $51.00 all together. All for only $15.00 with $2.68 shipping that is amazing. I also saw that in December subscribers got a 15 color eyeshadow pallet in their boxes along with other products, how amazing is that!!??  I give this box 2 thumbs up I can't wait to try everything.
