Number 4 Sugar Spray!

I love Number 4 hair care products I have tried quite a few and none of them have ever let me down.

This one is no different. I was given a bottle of Sugar Texturing Spray to try for ya'll. I love the lightweight feeling of the spray. It goes on and is almost unnoticeable in my hair. It doesn't leave my hair sticky or gooey which is a amazing thing! I hate when I try to style my hair and I get a greasy, sticky mess. YOU know what I'm talking about right??!!  Or just as bad a hard, crunchy, straw-like feel!  Either way I hate it and I'm very happy that this does not cause my hair to feel like either senerio!

I love the light pleasant smell. It's not overwhelming and it doesn't' smother you even if you spray a LOT. But you don't need a lot to style your hair.  I prefer to use in damp hair, It works better that way. But I have sprayed it dry hair and it still was not sticky or crunchy.

Straighten and Brush at the same time.

I usually have a clear cut idea whether I like a product or not but this one I'm on the fence. I have heard so many people say that these straightening brushes do not work that I had to see for myself. First lets start with the body of the brush.It's lightweight so it's very easy to use and run through my hair.

The control buttons are on the side so they are very easy to reach. They are very easy to use push buttons that control the temperature and turn the unit on/off. The brushes are ceramic but work through my very long hair with ease. It heats up pretty slowly so that is a small complaint.

The max temperature is only 230 but it seems to work just fine. It's much easier to get my entire head with a straightening brush vs a flat iron. After a few passes my hair was straight and I was very pleased. It's easy to contour my hair to my face. But after only a few minutes, my hair was waving up again. So the look only lasted a few minutes which really disappointed me. I'm not sure if it's my hair's texture that caused this reaction. Maybe this would work better with your hair. Maybe with a little more product in my hair I could get the style to last.

It really is identical to brushing my hair. I find if I brush underneath instead of on top it works better.

The design is great and it's built to last so it's a great quality product. So I would recommend that my family and friends (and you) try you may have a different hair texture that works better.

Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Repair Rescue Giveaway

In the summer I LIVE in the pool, I try to wear a swim cap but sometimes it doesn't fit right and water gets in anyway. So my hair will get dry and damaged in the summer if I don't take extra care of it.  When I was chosen to review BC Bonacure Repair Rescue I was very excited for two reasons. 

One it's from Schwarzkopf and although I cannot pronounce the name, I have never been disappointed in any of their products. Schwarzkopf is a salon quality product that delivers the results it promises.  The BC Bonacure Repair is no different.

BC Boncare Hair Repair is said to be a serum but it is a cream like consistency. It's not extremely thick but it doesn't take much to run through my hair. I use it on damp hair but the directions don't specify so it can be used on dry hair as well.  It's extremely lightweight so my hair is not weighed down, it has it's usual bounce and fullness. Nor does it make my hair greasy or oily.  My hair looks and feels amazing. It's soft yet manageable and my natural waves are very defined if I don't straighten my hair.

I love to try new hair care products. When I was invited to review Advanced Hair Repair Shampoo & Conditioner it's formulated to repairs, restores, and strengthen hair that has been damaged by heat styling, coloring, or chemical treatments. Which my poor hair has been exposed to that plus chlorine overdose and sun exposure.

It works by hydrating and moisturizing dry hair locking in moisture. So it improves hair's texture and manageability leaving it vibrant and healthy looking. As an added bonus, it's sulfate free and paraben free and good for all hair types.

The shampoo smells awesome and lathers very nicely. I think that's great for a paraben free formula. Normally they don't lather in my hair at all. It really doesn't take a lot at all either. The conditioner is very thick and doesn't take much to cover all of my hair. It has the same great smell as the shampoo.

I have just recently started using a hair mask. I never really knew the benefits for them until now. So if you've never used a hair mask let me explain the benefits to you. A hair mask does for your hair what a face mask does for your skin. It is a weekly boost that gives damaged (or just plain overstyled hair) an extra hydration boost to keep your hair healthier and softer.

In just 5 - 7 minutes a week my hair looks and feels better than has in months. I normally let it sit while I shave. That makes the 5 - 7 minutes go by very quickly. Even though this is a heavy conditioner it does not weigh down my hair in fact my hair has more bounce than usual as well.

They are all made with Aragon oil and the shampoo and conditioner also has macadamia oil. I have used this trio for a few weeks now and my hair looks great. It's not frizzy when it air dries. Nor does it poof out like a lion's mane.  It's bright, shiny, and silky which is the most I can ask for in a hair care product.

My curls are more defined too. I looked the other day and I had a perfect ringlet. The bad thing is my hair does not all curl or wave up at once. Or even in the same manner. I may have ringlets on quarter, slight waves in one quarter and heavy waves in the rest of my hair. So I can never leave my hair natural and have it look right.

Goldwell Diamond Gloss Shine Spray Review + Giveaway

Okay confession time, I have never heard of a shine spray.  I have never used one didn't even know what it did. I really thought I was gong to get this can and spray in it my hair for this beautiful shine, literally. But that is not the case. The Goldwell Diamond Gloss Shine Spray does better than that.  It calms stressed or unruly hair and has an anti-frizz effect and colour protection.

So we all know my hair is not exactly calm I have tons of frizz. Sometimes that is even when I work really hard to get rid of the frizz. But when I sprayed my hair with this Shine Spray the flyaways disappeared. I was very impressed not to see them anymore so I sprayed the shine spray on the other side of my hair. Again, no flyaways. My hair looked like i walked out of a salon.

The spray has a scent but it's not unpleasant and doesn't last long. So it is not off putting at all. All it takes is a few sprays to finish my look. The spray does not weigh down my hair or make it stiff. It actually doesn't feel like I've put anything in my hair.  That's great considering it is a product that I use in dry hair. I've even sprayed it pretty close to my head and my hair did not look wet, it didn't feel like straw or an oil well. I never lost the volume or bounce so this product is a keeper.
