In the summer I LIVE in the pool, I try to wear a swim cap but sometimes it doesn't fit right and water gets in anyway. So my hair will get dry and damaged in the summer if I don't take extra care of it.  When I was chosen to review BC Bonacure Repair Rescue I was very excited for two reasons. 

One it's from Schwarzkopf and although I cannot pronounce the name, I have never been disappointed in any of their products. Schwarzkopf is a salon quality product that delivers the results it promises.  The BC Bonacure Repair is no different.

BC Boncare Hair Repair is said to be a serum but it is a cream like consistency. It's not extremely thick but it doesn't take much to run through my hair. I use it on damp hair but the directions don't specify so it can be used on dry hair as well.  It's extremely lightweight so my hair is not weighed down, it has it's usual bounce and fullness. Nor does it make my hair greasy or oily.  My hair looks and feels amazing. It's soft yet manageable and my natural waves are very defined if I don't straighten my hair.

OSIS+ Upload Lifting Volume Cream Giveaway

I can always use extra help with volume. Sometimes my poor hair is so limp sometimes, it looks pitiful. So I have tried tons of things to help with volume. I was very happy to get to review the OSIS+ Upload Lifting Volume Cream. I have tried other OSIS+ Products and really liked them so I didn't expect this one to be any different.


This is a leave in cream but it is a gel consistency rather than cream. It's not too thick so it works into hair very easily but it only takes very little for all of my hair. I normally work it into my damp hair but I have also used a small amount in dry hair. It is extremely lightweight and doesn't make my hair oily or greasy. It also doesn't make my hair look sticky or dry.

I love that it comes in a pump dispenser because they are so much easier and quicker to use. I can leave the dispenser on my vanity and grab a small amount whenever I need it.


It smells amazing but the scent doesn't last too long. I only smell it when I apply it to my hair.

Rusk Mousse - Maximum Volume & Control Review + Giveaway

Okay y'all know i have volume troubles. I have said it a lot and I have tried lots of products some have helped, others not so much but I have this problem. I will try any new thing to see if it's better than the one I'm using. Guess you can call me a free spirit, my husband sticks to what he likes. I'm constantly switching things around.

Instead of BIG hair it makes my hair look full, fluffy, and bouncy. Which is really all I've ever wanted in a good hair day.

OSIS+ Freeze Finish by Schwarzkopf Review + Giveaway

I have used Schwarzkopf Osis products before and really like them so I was very excited to try their Freeze Finish spray. I remember the Osis Rough Rubber worked awesome and I have heard tons of good reviews about the other Osis products so I had high hopes.

I'm happy to say it did not disappoint, It worked exactly like I expected. I sprayed it and my hair froze in place. It was a little sticky but still not as sticky as other sprays I've used . That surprised me because as much as my hair stayed in place I would expect a super hold come with a hard crunchy feel to it.

I have used the Finish Spray in both an updo and when I straightened my hair and I was pleased with it both times.  With the up-do I could feel the hair on top of my head was little stiffer but that is what I expected. Plus you have to figure it's in such a concentrated area when I'm spraying only at the top.  When I sprayed my hair after I flat ironed it did not feel any different or stiff at all. It didn't weigh my hair down  I had the same bounce and volume that I had before using it. It doesn't take much to give me a great hold either. it just made my hair look less frizzy and controlled my flyaways.

It smells decent for a hair spray and I love that it is an aerosol because like I've mentioned before I feel like it's spraying more evenly and I'm getting better coverage.  I also feel like it is being spread out more than when I use a pump spray.

Framesi Biogenol Design Spray Review + Giveaway

I have used lots of Framesi Products have not been disappointed once. I was very excited to try the Biogenol Design Spray. It is specially formulated for color-treated hair. A non-sticky, strong hold working spray made from vitamin-enriched vegetable proteins for superior hold, body and shine. Will not build-up flake or dull color. Contains a natural anti-oxidant to prevent fading.

This is the first color care hair spray I have ever tried. I do color my hair but I normally don't take too much precaution to stop it from fading. Maybe I should because I find my color grows out and gets dull really quickly.

The Biogenol Design Spray smells great just like all the other Framesi products I've used. Normally hair sprays have a distinct almost chemical smell to them but not this one.  It has a uniquely clean smell when it's sprayed. Being an aerosol spray it delivers the perfect stream every time. I prefer an aerosol over a pump every time. The pump doesn't have the continuous even spray that I get from an aerosol.

I use a hair spray to finish my look no matter if I've straightened, curled, or did an up do it just keeps stray hairs in place. With a spray like the Biogenol it's really easy to use everyday because it's not sticky. It doesn't' make my hair feel like straw. Really it feels like there is nothing but a natural bounce to my hair. Which is not always the case with hair sprays.

KMS California Playable Texture Review + Giveaway

I have used a lot of KMS California products and liked them all. This one is the KMS Hair Play and what it does is gives your hair workable texture. This is a spray can that means you can apply evenly without having to get your hands dirty. It can be resprayed anytime you need to restyle your hair. It dries in seconds and leaves my hair feeling bouncy and natural without being sticky and weighed down.  It doesn't leave residue that makes my head itch or my hair feel like I NEED to wash it out. 

For my long hair The Hair Play products help make my layers look more defined. It also makes my hair hair easy to manage if I want to pull it up. I have Hair Play paste and it worked very well too but I love the spray since it don't have to apply with my hands.  I like that the spray goes on evenly and I don't feel like I'm clumping it in one spot. Plus it takes very little (one or two sprays) to cover my entire head. 

As an added bonus I received a KMS Add Volume spray which works AWESOME. It takes very little to make my hair look amazing. I looked like I teased my hair the first time I used it. And guess what I did NOT blow dry my hair. So can you imagine how well it would work if I would have taken the time to blow dry my hair? 

Oh and the clutch ~~ super adorable. Big enough to fit all of my essentials yet small enough to be inconspicuous.  It's super soft and has a snap lock front.

KMS Quick Dry Review + Giveaway

I have repeatedly said how much I hate to blow dry my hair so I won't say it again. But what I will say is I was very excited when I was chosen to to review the KMS Quick dry because it would cut down on my dry time. This would prevent me from having to spend a ton of time doing that thing that I don't love so much.

Had I known there were products like this I would have tried them a LONG time ago. Needless to say I didn't wait long before I put this to use. It says it designed for frizzy, damaged, and curly hair but I'm sure it would be fine for any hair type. I think those types of hair would probably benefit the most from less dry time.

The KMS is a pink spray that comes in a little pump style dispenser.  It sprays a mist so it covers all of my hair in few sprays. It is light weight and did not weigh my hair down or make it sticky. I actually never felt it in my hair at all.

The smell is light and pleasant. The only thing I can say is it reminds me of the premade margarita in a can from Jose Curevo.  But the smell doesn't last long at all. The only time I ever smelled it was when I sprayed it.

Does it really cut down my dry time? Yes it really does! I was very surprised that I didn't have use the blow dryer for a very long time like I have in the past. I got out of the shower towel dried my hair and then sprayed a few mists of KMS then pulled  out the hair dryer.  In a few minutes my hair was almost completely dried so I stopped.

In the morning my hair looked great like I hadn't used anything different. It had volume and it wasn't crunchy sticky, or oily looking.

I have used a shave cream before and loved it. I don't know why but I never thought to get more but when I saw the chance to review the Dare to be Bare Shave Cream I was very excited. If you have never used a shave cream before it's more of  lotion/moisturizer than a shaving cream. So it keeps your skin smoother and silkier when shaving. I would have been more liberal when I shaved but it really wasn't needed it took very little to cover my legs enough to give me a smooth silky shave.  Then when I got out I put more on to prevent the nasty itchies from the razor bumps trying to start.

Framesi BY Hydro-Gel Strong Review + Giveaway

Most people think gel is for short hair but they are very wrong. My hair is long and I use gel all of the time. Without gel my hair would never stay styled. If I curl my hair with no products the curls just fall right out. So when I was chosen to try Framesi's By Hydro-Gel I was very happy. I have tried a few Framesi shampoos and conditioners and I also tried the hair spray in from the By line as well and I love them all.

This gel comes in a nice size squeeze tube so it comes out extremely easy.  It is extremely thick and takes VERY little to work through my hair which is past my shoulders.  I was very happy with the way this product made the curls stay in my hair. I curled them and they stayed all night long.

There was no stickiness nor was my hair crunchy or hard after using this gel and a spritz of BY (be yourself) hair spray. I only had bouncy beautiful curls.. Of course they were curling wand induced.. but still they stayed for a long time.

It worked wonders at keeping my hair straight after using the flat iron as well. Although very thick it smooths in very easily. It also smells great with the same scent as the hairspray.

Another thing I use gel for is to control my unruly eyebrows.  I just take a little and put it on my eyebrow comb and work the gel through my brows. They stay in place all day.

The more Framesi products I use the more I love them. I recently tried the Color Lover Shampoo and Conditioner. First they are in HUGE bottles which is great. They enriched with Quinoa and are 100% vegan. They are both sulfate , paraben, DEA and Gluten free. I have used other paraben and sulfate free shampoos and they did not lather at all so I was not expecting much. But I was very surprised when just a little shampoo provided tons of rich lather.

I'll be honest at first I thought the smell was a bit odd but the more I use it the more I like it. It is a purple color and both of them are a medium consistency. What surprised me the most is how little conditioner I need to make my hair soft and tangle free. I normally have this conditioner obsession and WAY overuse it. I can use 2 bottles of conditioner to every bottle of shampoo but it should be opposite.

My hair looks great it is bouncy and vibrant. I didn't know these were formulated to strengthen hair but I have noticed a LOT less breakage. My hair was getting so weak and tangled at one point I was loosing hair by the handful when I wash it. I have not had that happen since I started using this shampoo. I also have not had to pull any of my hair out because I had tons of knots. And know this is with no leave in products either. I do use some but last night I combed my hair before I put any in and it was perfectly easy to run the comb through.
