My first Ipsy Glambag of 2014
I've said it before but I'll say it again. Ipsy is a way for me to feel like it's Christmas or my birthday all year long because I get to open a present every month. This is my first bag of 2014 and I wanted to share it with you.
The theme is 19 reasons. This is what I got in mine
A full size Elizabeth Mott Smooth Shadow in Penny This shadow "pencil" sells for $14.99. I have used Elizabeth Mott products before and liked them so I'm excited to try this. I'm not a huge fan of shadow pencils but I'm willing to try anything.
A deluxe trail size Nourish Organics Light Weight Moisturizing Face Lotion full size sells for $21.99. I have never heard of this brand before so I'm curious to see what it's like. It smells sort of orangey to me and the consistency is thin but runny.
A deluxe trial size Tahitian Monoi Faith Aromatherapy Anti-Aging sugar scrub full size sells for $17.99. I love a sugar scrub although I have never used on my face. I'm very excited to try this one. If it's like other sugar scrubs I will no doubt love it.
A deluxe trial size Mica Beauty Tinted Lip Balm in #5 Natural which I'm sure you have guess is a pretty neutral is a shade The lip balm sells for $30.00. I have used Mica shadow before and loved it so I'm excited to try this. But I can say I'm overflowing with lip balm! Oh well guess a girl can never have too much.
Last but not least a deluxe sample of Sexy Hair Soy Tri-Wheat leave in conditioner. Full size sell for $17.95. I'm really very meh about this product. My excitement level is way down I don't need any more leave in conditioners I have TONS. Most of them cost a lot less and work very well. I will try this one just because you never know I may love it. The only thing that may help is it is a spray in. I have used all my spray in conditioners and only have foam left. I have tried other products from Sexy Hair and there was no wow factor to me.
I love at least one thing in my Ipsy bag every month but a lot of times I love more so for $10.00 a month you can't go wrong. They are not all full size but where else can you try $103.00 worth of products for $10.00?
So that's my glambag, what's in yours? Stay tuned for specialized reviews of products I love or don't love so much.

Mica Beauty Cosmetics Shimmer Powder
I got a Mica Beauty Cosmetics Shimmer Powder in Bronze #17 in my August Ipsy bag and I'm so glad I did. It is a loose shimmer powder and the .01 oz sells for $14.95. Mica Beauty. That may not sound like a lot but it is a very nice size and eye shadow lasts forever. Mineral Makeup is extremely gentle, free of preservatives, chemicals, dyes, talc, oils, and other fillers.
As you can see it is a beautifully pigmented brown/gold shimmer.
For a shimmer powder surprisingly it was not messy at all. I did not shake the container instead I opened the top and "dumped" a little onto the cap. Then I grabbed powder with my applicator from the top.
I was afraid this was a little too much for day time but it was very pretty. Don't remove the the excess and of course add some eyeliner and you're all set for a night out. The shadow stayed on beautifully all day and did not crease or fade. It also never traveled into my eyes like some powders do. I give this eye shadow and A. I want to try other Shimmer Powder colors and Mica has lots of other beauty products I would love to try.

Ipsy's August 2013 Glambag
Hey have you heard about Ipsy? If you haven't this is the scoop it's $10.00 per month and you get cute make up bag with 4/5 full size or deluxe samples.I have been a member for a few months and have not been disappointed. There are usually a few variations of the bag so every month I feel a little like a child on Christmas eve waiting for Santa. It's a great way to try premium products without the high dollar cost.
You take a quiz and the products are tailored towards you from your answers. Each month they have a theme and the products and bag go with that theme. This is my August Bag "Glamour Academy". I love the bag this month, it's so pretty and the products inside are awesome.
The first thing is a deluxe size 1oz sample of Micheal Todd Pumpkin facial mask. The full size is 3.4 oz and cost $34.00. Next is a Nailtini nail lacquer cost $13.00 a bottle. Sample of PixiBeauty Lash Booster Mascara it's a really nice size sample, full size sells for $19.00. Sample size of Urban Decay Revolution lipstick. It's the cutest sample in a silver tube. Full size sells for $22.00. Last but not least there's t a MicaBeauty shimmer powder full size sells for $9.99. Since they are not all full size I can't say look how much I saved. But I can say if you were to buy these things to try you would have spent a lot more than $10.00.
I love getting my Ipsy glambag in every month if you want to get your own bag check it out here and Join me
I'll post full reviews of the products I love soon so stay tuned. Let me know if you decide to join.
