Lovely Lashes Eyelash Curler Review

I would not have said this a year ago but I believe it fully now. An eyelash curler can make or break a look, that is why it is important to have one that you are comfortable using. If I don't curl my lashes they are sticking straight out no matter what mascara I use.

When I got the Lovely Lashes Eyelash Curler to review I was very excited. If you are not familiar with eyelash curlers, they can all be very different. Some have long bases others have short bases and it goes on and one.

The one thing I look for in the style of my eyelash curler is comfortable finger grips If my fingers don't fit right, it is not easy for me to use.  As far as when I'm using my eyelash curler I can't stand one that pinches my eyelids. That is a big no deal for me. I would rather have lashes that stick out than endure my eyelids being pinched.

The Lovely Lashes Curler has a long base and the finger holes are set the perfect length apart. It easily opens and closes. The pad fits on my eye without any discomfort. Even during use there was no pinching or pulling. This is a very comfortable, easy to use eyelash curler.

I have heard that an eyelash curler will work better if you run your hair dryer over it. I found something that works even better for me. I always have my flat iron heating up while doing my makeup so I hold my curler in the middle of the plates and voila' I have a heated lashcurler without having to pull out my hair dryer and plug it in. I will admit heating it up did make it very comfortable and smooth to use.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Measurable Difference Laash Amplifying Mascara and Primer

How would you like to make your eyes pop?

Not like that silly! Like this

Okay maybe not that dramatic! But it sure is pretty and I have to disclose it's NOT my creation. I am not that talented yet. Oh who am I kidding, I doubt I'll be that talented.

Maybe you don't want to go that drastic but now you can create the look of longer, thicker, fuller lashes without falsies and while doing so condition your lashes. Sounds too good to be true? It's really not, I'm here to tell or better yet show you how. I received a Measurable Difference Lash Amplifying Mascara and Primer to try.

So what is a lash amplifying mascara and primer? Well it's said to give instant, luscious-looking lashes for simply divine eyes. How you ask? Well it contains Regealash an amazingly effective peptide complex designed to nourish, hydrate, and condition lashes and brows for healthier, longer looking lashes and full looking brows in just 4 - 6 weeks. It's been clinically tested ophthalmologist tested , not tested on animals and is fragrance free.
Before use/no mascara

I haven't been using it that long but as you can see my lashes do look thick and luscious, if I must say so myself. If you are wondering the eyeshadow used is Wet N Wild Lust. These pictures are with the primer and 2 coats of mascara. It layers extremely easy with little dry time between coats. There is no flaking or peeling and it a long lasting mascara. It removes easily with no messy residue.

Overall I am pleased with the mascara and primer and will continue to use it. At this time I'm unsure if I would purchase it but I will continue to monitor my lash growth over time.

Show Measurable Difference some love on FaceBook , TwitterPinterest, YouTube , and Google + they have lots of other products that look amazing so go check them out.

I received this product complimentary in exchange for an honest uncompensated review but the opionion expressed is all mine.

Kiss Looks so natural lashes

I've mentioned before that I am not exactly a false lash expert I actually have a very hard time with them. I also find some of them look incredibly fake so they are not worth my time. When I found out the Kiss Looks so Natural Lashes were in my J'Adore VoxBox from Influenster I was actually frightened. I had the image of me taking pictures with a lash stuck to my cheek or it hanging off of my eyes. I even joked about that with my Influenster buddies.

When I opened the Kiss lashes I saw a difference immediately, they were not super thick and coarse nor did they have that super noticeable band at the top like some lashes I have tried in the past. These lashes are also curled to match the natural shape of your lashes which in turn makes it feel and look more natural.

The Looks so natural line comes in a few different styles and I got Vamp. Vamp was perfect for me just enough to give a little oomph without going overboard. If set perfectly it is reasonable to believe nobody would know they are fake.

Sorry for the super creepy close up of my eye but as you can see they made a difference without looking terribly fake.  The glue is included so all you need to do is measure, cut the excess (I didn't need to cut one of them), apply glue and put into place. A little tip I learned from a Kiss twitter party that REALLY works is let the glue sit for a few seconds before placing. That way it will get tacky and stick better. I remember placing lashes having them slide because the glue was still wet.

Despite being a skeptic I am very pleased with these lashes and I will wear them again on special occasions.

They are very easy to apply with a few tips I learned from this Kiss Video so check it out.

I received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes but the opinion expressed is all mine. If you want an Influenster invite so you can join the fun let me know, I have a few left.

Influenster J'Adore VoxBox

I'm so excited to tell you about the awesome voxbox I just received. It was Influenster's Valentine's Day box so you can imagine it is a love themed box.  First impressions I think I'm going to love everything in it. Even if I don't love everything I will love trying everything so it's a great Valentine's Day present, thanks Influenster!

I love that the boxes are now colored because they are super cute. I held on to my other ones for a long time but sadly I eventually had to let them go.  I would love to figure out an upcycle idea so if you have one let me know.

So you ready to dig in? The first product I got was:

John Fredia Frizz Ease a flat iron spray.  The spray helps your hair stay straight for up to three days between washes. I have naturally wavy hair and after I sleep on my hair it is not straight anymore. So I'm excited to see if this works.

Red Rose Tea I love sweet tea, I mean I'm from Louisiana did you expect anything else? Hot tea, I'm not really a fan. My mom loved it but I never could get into it. But the flavors , Creme Caramel and Lemon Chiffon are appealing so I'm very excited to try.  I love caramel so I'm very excited about that one.

Kiss Looks So Natural lashes. I'm far from a lash expert I see myself having to do my review pictures with a lash on my cheek or falling off my eyes but I have tried them before and these are beautiful. They are not super thick and they are much more natural looking than other's I've seen. The top bad is much thinner than others and they just have a more natural shape. Even my hubby who has seen me play with a lot of lashes said "those are different" so the differences are VERY noticeable. Another big plus is they are safe for contact wearers so yay I'm excited to see that.  Plus I love Kiss products so I'm sure these will be great.

Boots Botanics Ionic Clay Mask Shine away I've told ya'll before I love face mask, it's my way of pampering myself at home. I'm not sure why but I have never tried Boots. I've heard great reviews so I'm very excited to try this mask.

Last but not least a bag of Hershey Kisses, a family size bag of Hershey Kisses. The ones that I'm eating right now as I'm typing. The same bag I had to pull out of my husband's hands so I could take pictures before he ate them. So I'm sure I don't have to tell you we are going to really enjoy them. What says I love you better than chocolate?

So that's what is in my J'Adore Voxbox stayed tuned over the next few weeks for reviews and find out what's good, bad, or lovely.  If you want to join all the Influenster fun let me know I have a few new invites left.

I received these products complimentary for testing purposes.
