straighten and brush at the same time

I usually have a clear cut idea whether I like a product or not but this one I'm on the fence. I have heard so many people say that these straightening brushes do not work that I had to see for myself. So I was very excited to review this one by Arabella Brushes.

First lets start with the body of the brush. It's lightweight so it's very easy to use and run through my hair. The control buttons are on the side so they are very easy to reach. They are very easy to use push buttons that control the temperature and turn the unit on/off. The brushes are ceramic but work through my very long hair with ease. It heats up pretty slowly so that is a small complaint.

The max temperature is only 230 but it seems to work just fine. It's much easier to get my entire head with a straightening brush vs a flat iron. After a few passes my hair was straight and I was very pleased. It's easy to contour my hair to my face. But after only a few minutes, my hair was waving up again. So the look only lasted a few minutes which really disappointed me. I'm not sure if it's my hair's texture that caused this reaction. Maybe this would work better with your hair. Maybe with a little more product in my hair I could get the style to last.

It's very simple to use, it really is identical to brushing my hair. The design is great and it's built to last so it's a great quality product. So I would recommend that my family and friends (and you) try you may have a different hair texture that works better.

The price is amazing so if you are dying to try a straightening brush, I say go for it. And this one is your best bet.

I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion but the opinion expressed is all my own.

2-in-1 Tweezer with Comb

I have never seen such a unique product. I of course have seen tweezers but I love the little comb on these. It means if I am tweezing my brows I don't' have to run to find a comb/brush to straighten them.

I thought this would be odd or hurt to use being metal but I experienced no discomfort at all. The comb glides through my brows with ease. No pulling or pinching.

The point of the tweezers are sharp and slanted. That makes them easy to lean up against my brow and pull the unwanted hair. Since they are nice and sharp they pull the hair out with one sweep.

I love the bright colorful pink. These are great for travel since you wouldn't need a separate comb/brush.

Since KlipProComb Tweezers come with a lifetime guarantee you can try them no worries. So grab a pair or two here

I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest opinion but the opinion expressed is all my own.

Lovely Lashes Eyelash Curler Review

I would not have said this a year ago but I believe it fully now. An eyelash curler can make or break a look, that is why it is important to have one that you are comfortable using. If I don't curl my lashes they are sticking straight out no matter what mascara I use.

When I got the Lovely Lashes Eyelash Curler to review I was very excited. If you are not familiar with eyelash curlers, they can all be very different. Some have long bases others have short bases and it goes on and one.

The one thing I look for in the style of my eyelash curler is comfortable finger grips If my fingers don't fit right, it is not easy for me to use.  As far as when I'm using my eyelash curler I can't stand one that pinches my eyelids. That is a big no deal for me. I would rather have lashes that stick out than endure my eyelids being pinched.

The Lovely Lashes Curler has a long base and the finger holes are set the perfect length apart. It easily opens and closes. The pad fits on my eye without any discomfort. Even during use there was no pinching or pulling. This is a very comfortable, easy to use eyelash curler.

I have heard that an eyelash curler will work better if you run your hair dryer over it. I found something that works even better for me. I always have my flat iron heating up while doing my makeup so I hold my curler in the middle of the plates and voila' I have a heated lashcurler without having to pull out my hair dryer and plug it in. I will admit heating it up did make it very comfortable and smooth to use.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
