Finesseur Ceramic Chef's Knife

I've recently started using ceramic knives and discovered that I loved them. My husband was saying how much he wanted a big ceramic knife so I was very happy to get the Finesseur Ceramic Chef's Knife to review for y'all.

The knife is 8 inches long so it's a really nice size. It will be good for cutting watermelons during the summer. Ceramic knives are much sharper than other knives and this one is no different. It's nicely made and has an ergonomically comfortable handle.

One thing I did not know about ceramic gives less exposure to germs and bacteria because it is non-porous and chemically stable. Also with ceramic you'll also never worry about rust, stains, lingering smells, or aftertaste again.

It's super sharp and being ceramic it is more durable. It's very easy to use and slices through the most difficult things with ease.

If you have a ceramic knife don't learn the hard way like we did ~~~ do NOT use it for any job that requires twisting.  I'm assuming that's because it is not as flexible as steel.  That didn't happen with this knife so this one is safe and sound!!

It comes with a 1 year 100% satisfaction guarantee so there is nothing to lose if you want to buy one for yourself. You can get it here

I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest opinion but the opinion expressed is all mine. Regardless I only recommend products I feel are good for my readers.

KitchCo® Heat Resistant Meat Handling Claws-Set of Two

One year for Christmas the turkey pan busted when we tried to take it out of oven. It was a huge mess and we were scrambling to grab the turkey. After lots of stress, cutting, and running we finally got the turkey into a serving tray. If we would have had these Meat Claws we could have easily grabbed the entire turkey in seconds with a lot less stress. so when I was chosen to review the KitchCo Heat Resistant Meat Claws I accepted happily with that incident in mind.

These Claws are extremely sturdy and heavy. I don't mean you can't lift them but they will dig into almost any food.  The tip of the claws are pretty sharps so keep them out of the reach of children.

I have used them on frozen food and although they DIG in they do hold just enough to be useful. I know they are intended for meat but love that I can hold a water melon while cutting it and it will stay still. It doesn't roll around and make it more difficult. The Meat claws make it very easy to pull a roast apart with no other utensils needed.

They are very easy to hold and manage. You have so much control it is almost like you are using your own hands. Imagine just grabbing meat and instead of it being a forks length away having to balance, it is as close as you want to hold it. The closure it is the less balancing act is required.

The Meat Claws are made from heat resistant nylon so they are super easy to clean. They work for indoor and outdoor cooking and are heat resistant up to 450°F . They have tons of uses like lifting a roast or turkey, grab a hot baked potato, pull and/or shred your favorite meat (of other food you can think of) so the uses are endless.

This is definitely one of those gadgets you don't think about until an incident or you don't know you need until you try them. For only $9.99 it's affordable for every kitchen to have a set.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

BruJoy stainless steel can opener

First let me say I normally have a hard time using a handheld can opener. Normally they stick and they don't work very well for me. But they are a necessity for a lot of reasons. If the electricity goes out or if my electric can open is just not doing the trick we need a back up.

When I pulled out the Bru Joy can opener, I noticed how durable it felt. It is not heavy but has some weight to it. The arms open and close with without sticking. The gadgets spin very easily and the "blade" is very sharp. The material stainless steel so it will last for a long time with the proper care.

This can opener is a great price. Although there are cheaper ones on the market I have learned there are some things that are worth spending money on. A manual can opener is one of those things. The Bru Joy can opener is worth the investment.

I received this product complimentary in exchange for an honest uncompensated review. Regardless I only recommend products I feel are good for my readers.
