Bru Joy Pizza Cutter Wheel

I love pizza,  I probably love it too much. My biggest weakness is the Little Caesars pizza kits but my freezer is fairly small so I can only order one kit at a time. But as a fall back I always have the little Totinos frozen pizza. Needless to say I use my pizza cutter a lot. I love a sharp one that goes easily through the crust without ripping off the toppings.

What good is a pizza without the cheese and pepperoni? So when I got to work with Bru Joy again to review their Pizza Wheel Cutter I was very happy. I have mentioned before I love trying new kitchen gadgets but this one I knew would get TONS of use.

The wheel is stainless steel  and the body is stainless steel and plastic which to me means it is durable and easy to clean.

The finger guard gives me extra protection in case my fingers slip when I'm using the wheel. 

I like my crust crispy and some pizza cutters has a hard time going through the crust. This wheel easily rolled through my pizza without any problems. The wheel is very sharp and while cutting my pizza it didn't disturb the cheese or toppings in fact there was no mess on the wheel at all when I was done.  

Since there was no mess,  the wheel was super easy to clean. It washes clean in soap and water. It will not rust and this pizza wheel comes with a LIFETIME warranty.

The Bru Joy Pizza Wheel will get tons of use during it's lifetime at my house. That and my cucumber peeler are probably the most use tools in the kitchen.

BruJoy stainless steel can opener

First let me say I normally have a hard time using a handheld can opener. Normally they stick and they don't work very well for me. But they are a necessity for a lot of reasons. If the electricity goes out or if my electric can open is just not doing the trick we need a back up.

When I pulled out the Bru Joy can opener, I noticed how durable it felt. It is not heavy but has some weight to it. The arms open and close with without sticking. The gadgets spin very easily and the "blade" is very sharp. The material stainless steel so it will last for a long time with the proper care.

This can opener is a great price. Although there are cheaper ones on the market I have learned there are some things that are worth spending money on. A manual can opener is one of those things. The Bru Joy can opener is worth the investment.

Bru Joy Ultra-Sharp Dual Blade Vegetable Julienne Peeler Stainless Steel

I love vegetables cucumbers are my favorite. I eat them so often I have 2 peelers and still need to wash one when I need to use it. I have one that works really well and one that is pretty dull and doesn't cut that well. So I was very excited to try the unique design of Bru Joy Ultra Sharp Dual Blade Stainless Steal Vegetable Peeler. 

It's a dual purpose tool with one side for peeling/slicing,  the other side is makes Julienne slices which is great for cutting carrots to put in a salad. Or to Julienne squash and "hide" it in tomato sauce. 

I was extremely surprised by how sharp these blade are. This is a great tool to have in your kitchen. The side for peeling easily sliced through cucumber peeling. We all know that some blades don't go through that easily. I have pulled some peelers out of the package and they were extremely dull.

The Julienne side works just as well as the peeling side. I love the extremely thin slices. As I mentioned before I like to Julienne carrots for my salads. I also love sneaking veggies in my food and my children never notice.

Peeling up down or down up is very easy and comfortable to me.  My husband was a little fumbly peeling in the down up motion.  The handle is a perfect length and the little "hook" at the end makes it easy hand if you would like.

I put my peeler in the dishwasher and it came out clean with no damage. So it is very easy to get clean because even the blades were clean.
