Rhythm+ Heart Rate Monitor

My sister is always talking about her heart rate monitor so I was very curious to use one.  I had never had one before but she explained that it is beneficial to know if you are reaching your maximum heart rate for a cardio  workout. So when I was chosen to work with Fitness on the Run to review the Rhythm + Heart Rate Monitor I was so excited.

This one is amazing because you do not need to have a chest strap, it accurately reads your heart rate from an arm band. It comes in super cute colors so it's not a boring band on your arm. The band is a great quality it hasn't ripped or tore. It fits great and it will stretch when I need it to.

It's very comfortable to wear and the location does not get in the way of any of my workouts even lifting weights. It never moved even during the most strenuous part of my workout. The material is breathable so it wasn't wet and sweaty like some of my accessories get.

There is an app for the Rhythm+ but it is recommended that you download one of the recommended apps to work in unison.  The app is very detailed as but it only read your heart-rate and calories burned.   The other apps track movement as well.

Cordskinz review and giveaway

I love to listen to music or watch HBO Go when I'm on the elliptical at the gym so that means I am using my earbuds of course.  I try to go to the gym every morning and every morning I find myself FUSSING because my ear bud cord is tangled.  No matter what I do, It's still tangled in some way.  Whether a little or a lot it still aggravates me to have to slow down and untangle them. Since I am on such a tight time schedule it's a pain in the butt.

So when I was asked to review Cordskinz I was really curious. I had never heard of them but what they do is keep earbud cords untangled. And in the process, they add a pretty flare to those otherwise boring white cords. With lots of colors to choose from it shouldn't be hard to find one or more that you'll love.

I was  little intimidated when I saw Cordskinz and the tool to apply them. But it was so easy, I was so sad I waited so long to try it.  It literally took me a minute to put Cordskinz on my plain white earbuds.  All I had to do was put the uncovered cord in the blue applicator and then slide the Cordskinz Cover!!

In the process I stopped them from getting tangled and knotted. Not only within themselves but  it prevents them from getting wrapped around other things in my gym bag.

Once Cordskinz are on they do not move unless you want them to. So you won't have to worry about them falling/hanging until you are ready to remove them.

Posturizer Fitness Bar

I've mentioned my posture before so if you noticed I said I don't have bad posture. But I don't want to START having bad posture either. I want to keep my posture so my back can be strong and healthy. I never worried about any of that before but since the birthdays keep coming I've started to take more precautions that I used to.

So when I saw the Posturizer Bar I was very excited to try it. What is the Posturizer you ask? Well it is a 3 foot long weighted bar that helps improve posutre that leads to arthritis and accelerated aging.  It helps fix bad posture through various workout positions.
