I have used a shave cream before and loved it. I don't know why but I never thought to get more but when I saw the chance to review the Dare to be Bare Shave Cream I was very excited. If you have never used a shave cream before it's more of lotion/moisturizer than a shaving cream. So it keeps your skin smoother and silkier when shaving. Plus this one can be used as an after shave cream as well to protect from irritation and stop that annoying itch when your hair is growing back.
That itching really is so annoying, isn't it. I could rip my skin of and quit shaving forever when my legs itch too bad. I'm so glad this can help. Dare to be Bare is formulated with Hemp and Argan Oil so it also softens hair and conditions skin. Plus it protect skin from rashes and razor bumps.
The scent is pleasant but very neutral so don't be surprised if your man steals some when he shaves. Razor bumps and irritation are not pleasant to anybody!
Dare to be Bare comes in a nice size pump style bottle which I love. I wish that everything would come in a pump so I didn't have to fight with caps.
Before I got to use Dare To be Bare I started having that nasty itch from my hair growing back so I opened the lotion and squirted a little in my hand. A few minutes later, I was not itching any more. When I say I squirted a little bit I mean a very small amount. So this bottle will last for a long time.
I would have been more liberal when I shaved but it really wasn't needed it took very little to cover my legs enough to give me a smooth silky shave. Then when I got out I put more on to prevent the nasty itchies from the razor bumps trying to start.

ReplyDeleteFor a silky smooth shave I use traditional creams made with higher quality ingredients (never products that contain soap and alcohol).
ReplyDeleteThanks for this lovely giveaway! :-)
my secret to a silky smooth shave is to exfoliate before shaving to get the dry and dead skin off first!
ReplyDeleteI usually use a Buf-Puf Body Sponge before shaving and always follow up with baby oil while my skin is still damp.
ReplyDeleteI step argan oil before shaving so the razor glides better.
ReplyDeleteI usually try to shave with hair conditioner instead of shaving gel, which helps. Can't wait to try a new product!
ReplyDeleteNo, indeed. Often use the razor and ingrown hairs grow back. :( Sometimes I try to use depilatory cream so you do not have to think about re-growth for at least two weeks.

ReplyDeleteI haven't a secret, I use aloe shower gel
ReplyDeleteI use the Dollar Shave Club blades so I don't keep reusing a dull blade.
ReplyDeleteI haven't secrets, i use gel to shave
ReplyDeleteI don't have a secret to a silky smoothe shave...usually I like to moisturize beforehand however, and I tend to use gel or creams with conditioners for my skin.
ReplyDeleteMy secret for a silky smooth shave is to shave before I get into the shower. I find that if I shave when my legs are dry I get a better shave.
ReplyDeleteI always try to use short swipes rather than long ones so that i really get every hair cut as short as possible.
ReplyDeleteIf i am looking for a really close shave i will shave like regular, then exfoliate, then shave again! it works so well!
ReplyDeleteMy secret is using a gel cream instead of a foaming cream. I also use a quality razor once a week and then use a more inexpensive one in between. Finishing off with a good moisturizer always helps too. :)
ReplyDeleteI do not have a secret but I make sure to exfoliate real well. This was a great review andI might just have to check them out!
