Fu** a Bikini Body

 I gave up a long time ago on getting that perfect bikini body. Don't get me wrong I love to workout but I love to eat too. Willpower has never been my strongest asset and never will be. I am actually more comfortable with my body than I was 20 years ago. You know back when I was sooo fat .. like 50 lbs lighter than I am now.  I encourage all of you to embrace your self and love yourself the way you are.. You are amazing, you are perfect.

Today I'm just telling you how I stay sane in this crazy, insane world. And while I was at it I lost 10 lbs and lowered my blood pressure so it really was a win, win situation.   I LOVE yoga. I actually have started to urn to do my yoga practice. I can't do it every day but when I can I enjoy it.

Can you imagine enjoying exercise, yeah I couldn't either. But yoga really is soo much more than exercise for the body. It's solace for my mind and my well being. I am able to let go of the day if only for a few minutes. I feel myself relax so to speak but yet walk away energized and ready to go.

Yoga is not hard but challenging. You do NOT have to be a contortionist to do yoga. Yoga is about what feels good for YOU. If can't touch your toes that's okay. Maybe one day you will. If not screw it, doesn't matter.



Can I do this?? Hell no! But one day I might be able to.  I find my self getting flexible and stronger as I go. So will this be me without breaking any bones?? I don't know but I will keep at it.

So although I truly believe in embracing yourself the way you are , a little peace of mind is great for everyone. Especially in the non-peaceful world we live in! I work from home so my attire consist mainly of Yoga pants and stretchy shorts.  I do that one because they are super comfortable but more important I will exercise if I'm dressed for the occasion.  Ok well, I'm more likely to exercise if I'm dressed and majority of the time that mind trick works. Plus there is something super comforting about yoga pants.

I was so happy that all three pieces fit! They fit perfectly!! My favorite pants are the Nebula Space Dye they feel like a second skin. I love the way they move with me. I use them frequently when I exercise because they are so fitting.  If you have not worn fitted clothing while working out -- no matter the type of workout -- you should try it . There is no irritation no rubbing, just smooth , fluid movements.

I will admit that I like to wear shorts to be cooler but even wearing pants isn't unbearable unless it's 80+ degrees in the house. But intouch clothing is all breathable so it makes them easier to wear even in warmer weather.

I am very pleased with these items. I wear them all the time and will wear them more when the weather gets cooler. My favorite is the Nebula Space Dye Pants. They just fit amazing and I love the way the stomach area fits.

Let me start by telling you I don't avidly practice Yoga.  I do some Yoga and Pilates but I have recently started love Meditating. I've always been into the hole peace, tranquility, and love theory.

For most purposes it is exactly like most subscription boxes but the products are focused on the Principals of Yoga. Depending on how much you are into yoga, that may mean different things. BUT Yoga is about a healthy lifestyle through relaxation, breathing, and exercise. Which I'm all for. I read that certain Yoga poses actually help you fall asleep faster.

When I opened my BuddHiBox I was so excited. It's filled with amazing products that I WILL use. It's not some of the other boxes where I already had a million mascaras and just add to the pile. Most of these things I have never used but will get a ton of uses out of them .

Gecko Yoga BackPack

A backpack is a backpack right? NOPE I was so wrong in thinking that way. I don't necessarily do Yoga but i use my Yoga mat for a lot. It's perfect for any floor exercises but I have never thought to bring mine to the gym with me. They have mats there but the thought of using them is pretty gross to me. So I save the floor exercise for home.

But this bag is amazing so I might be able to bring all my gym essentials and my Yoga mat with me. The backpack itself is loaded with little pouches and places to store things.

I comes with a bag for my Yoga mat so it stays clean even in tow. The clamps keep the yoga mat securely in place, much more secure than I would have thought. The straps are adjustable so whether you have a smaller grade mat that's thinner or a thick mat they will bot fit secure. The two big zippered pouches are VERY roomy and I was able to put my Yoga Towel, wiping towel, and lifting gloves and still have tons of room to spare. There is a side pouch that I will be able to slide a bottle of water or my mist in.

The material is awesome and very sturdy. It's not like those cheap backpacks where it's thin material. It's also going to be easy to clean with a wet towel.

Even with the Yoga mat securely in place the bag is super comfortable to carry and the back strap is very wide. It slide over the shoulder and doesn't' weigh me down. The weight is also (surprisingly) distributed evenly so there is no discomfort to me at all. This would be a great pack to bring hiking or to a concert, zoo any activity where you would carry a bag. After all attaching the mat is optional but that strap could be used for a picnic blanket.

Yoga Towel Sets by Clever Yoga

I love Yoga Towels not only do they keep my mat cleaner but they are soft so it's a little extra cushion for my when I lay down.

I have quiet a few Yoga towels but this is one of the largest I own it's a whopping  72"x24" so that covers the entire mat with a little extra. The extra is great because it help prevent it from rolling up and NOT covering anything. I like that the towel sticks to the mat and doesn't move while I'm doing sit ups.  That's a huge pain when that happens.

I love the color scheme it's a  pretty mint/sea green with a pink trim. The trim is well sown and the microfiber quality is great. I will say it again, Microfiber is probably the best material on earth. It dry so quickly and it doesn't absorb liquids like cotton or other fibers. Plus it cleans so easy too, I have microfiber sofa and I LOVE it.

So since this towel is microfiber it doesn't hold the sweat like any other towels would. You can drench the towel and it won't be dripping wet. That is exactly what I need when I exercise. If I keep wet clothes on me too long, I get chafed. So at least I know my towel is dry then when I get home I throw it in the washing machine (NO dryer sheets!!)  That prevents my yoga mat from stinking and getting dirty. Those are a lot harder to wash than a towel. 

Since it folds the Clever Yoga Towel is much easier to carry than a Yoga Mat so you can use the mats at the gym without laying on other people's sweat. Or it rolls neatly with my yoga mat and fits in my yoga bag. Either way it's very portable and still sanitary so you decide how much you want to carry.  

Then the set comes with a FREE smaller exact replica of this towel. I put it in my gym bag and one day I forgot my face towel. So I used the smaller 24"x15" to wipe my face and not the best towel for that but it was very absorbent. I know it's silly but I think that's what bothered me so much it was never wet. I guess I felt like it wasn't wiping my face. But on the contrary it was wiping my face while staying dry. So not as bad as I originally thought. But was amazing to lay on the back/bottom of the machines so I didn't sweat all over the machine. 

Over all great yoga towel if you use a mat and don't have a yoga towel I HIGHLY recommend one. You can check out the other colors that Clever Yoga offers here.

Comfortably Carry your yoga mat and much more

My mats are just rolled up in a corner of the room. If I don't roll them just right, they come unrolled and get in the way. i was very happy when I was asked to review this Yoga Bag complimentary. I have never owned a yoga bag so I was not sure what to expect. When I pulled the bag out of the package the first thing I noticed was how pretty the lotus design is. In addition to being a very attractive bag the material is very nice as well. It feels soft yet sturdy. There are two handles one to wear as an over the shoulder bag and the other one is a hand held.

The roominess is AMAZING there is a zippered pouch on top that is big enough for keys, credit cards, or anything else you need to tuck away while exercising. The inside comfortably fits my mat and towel with enough room for a change of clothes. Plus there is a two zippered pouches on the inside with lots of room to put any toiletries you bring with you to the gym.

It has lots of ventilation being mesh on one side and little holes in the front, This will prevent sweaty clothes from holding the moisture and smelling like a locker room. Over all I am very happy with this yoga bag I will probably get another one for my other mat. It just stores the mat and towel so neat.

I've said before I don't do yoga but I use a mat every workout. I never knew the importance of a yoga towel until I used one. They are an easy way to extend the life of your yoga mat.  So when I got to work with Youphoria Yoga and review their towel for y'all I was very excited. 

The material is 80% Polyester/20% Cotton and the towel is very thick and absorbent so placing it over your mat, will prevent your mat from getting nasty from sweat and germs. 

Not only does it extend the life of your yoga mat it reduces the risk of bacteria. It is so much easier to throw the Yoga towel in the washing machine than washing your yoga mat.

The Youphoria Yoga towel is non-slip and skid-less did you know just using a bath towel can turn mat into a dangerous slip and slide?  I didn't know that but maybe I need to retry yoga now that I have this towel. They say being nonslip - It will help you be able hold advanced poses longer with peace of mind that your towel will stay in place for the duration of your Yoga experience. I really don't think that was my problem but since I have tile floors I really need my mat as nonskid as possible.

As you can see from the picture the towel is well made and the stitching is very tightly woven. So far after use, I have seen no raveling or hanging threads.

Youphoria Yoga Mat Givaway Review + Giveaway

I don't necessarily do yoga, I'm a little too clumsy for that but I love Pilates.  Also I use a yoga mat almost every time I exercise. It makes it easier for me to get on the floor and do sit up without irritating my asthma. It also gives me more cushion while I'm on the floor which makes my back more comfortable when I'm doing sit ups and my knees more comfortable if I'm doing lunges or squats.  So I was very happy to work with Youphoria Yoga and review their Yoga mat for y'all.

What I never thought about is a mat also stops your feet from sliding and it stabilizes your hands and feet during  a workout. With it's proprietary grip circles on the bottom it stops the mat from sliding even on the smoothest surface. 

The Youphoria Yoga Mat is a great grade, high density and pretty thick and made out of memory foam. This material will not wear like other mats. I really didn't know Yoga mats came in different grades until I was in the market for one. The higher the grade the thicker the mat. The thicker the mat the better support it gives. 

I was so very happy when I saw the mat came with a carry handle. this not only keeps makes the mat very portable, it makes the mat stay together while not in use. I can't tell you how many times I have had to re-roll my old mat so this was very exciting to me. 

As you can see the mat is a nice size in length as well as width so there is plenty of room to move around.  The mats come in different colors so if pink is not your thing don't worry!

It's ecofriendly and free of harsh chemicals and toxins so it's completely safe for you and your family. Another thing I want to mention is it is made to be odor free and it is. I have pulled out a smelly mat before so this is a good thing as well.
