Children's Kid's Pretend Play Toy Tea Set

When I saw this tea set I thought it was so adorable. I'll be honest my girls have at least 4 tea sets already but they play with them. They REALLY play with them all the time and they enjoy playing with them. So I don't think it's bad for them to have a ton of variety. Plus most of the time they incorporate them all together.

I really thought I was getting a pink flower and gingham pattern so at first I was pretty disappointed with this pattern ~~ Had I read the disclosure that patterns may vary it would not have been a surprise. But the more I looked at it, the more I thought it was adorable. It's prefect pattern for boys or girls and it's bright and colorful.

It's a metal set so I don't have to worry about plastic breaking into pieces when they get stepped on. I KNOW it will happen eventually. The metal is pretty toughly constructed so I don't even know if it will bend a lot. I did not put it through the test nor did my girls, yet. 

It's an adorable, complete set with tea matching (fruity) cups and saucers, serving tray, tea kettle, and snack plates. So my girls have everything they need to host  a "proper" tea party.  

My girls loved it and they really liked the pattern. Which is really nicely painted with lots of details. They will get tons of use from this tea set. Now if I could just stop them from fighting over which plates decoration they want!!

Little Cosmetics review and giveaway

I was so excited to work with Little Cosmetics  for  a review. My girls are ALWAYS trying to use my makeup. I have to keep a sponge with no makeup on it just so they feel like the are putting on makeup in the morning. So when I saw this set I new it would be something they would like.

They have "pretend makeup" but it still can make a huge mess because it is real enough to leave some color. These look amazing real but are a Styrofoam type material so no mess.  I knew my girls would like it, I had no idea how much they would actually like it. I gave them the set yesterday to look at and they went crazy pulling things out and primping!

The kit comes with everything they need to do an entire face of "makeup": blush, powder, eyeshadow, lipgloss, and a bit of sparkle. Everything look so real, they don't know the difference. There is even a pack of real makeup brushes which is a great touch! There is a sponge applicator in the eyeshadow trio that is nicer than most of the ones I get in my  makeup.  I thought about switching with them but I didn't... for now.

One of my girls asked if it was "real" makeup so I told a little white lie: it is in fact real. My five year old kept asking because she said I don't see anything. Then my oldest  swore she saw the purple eyeshadow on her sister.  I told them makeup is not meant to be seen a lot just to enhance your features. I know maybe I shouldn't lie but they are so excited to have their own set of makeup they can play with without making a mess. Most of the other "pretend" sets have real makeup in it. It doesn't show a lot but it can still make a huge mess if they are not careful. 

For days  my three girls have been playing with their makeup hours at a time. I have not heard them except of course for the occasional give me that back. I guess my girls will be just like their mom and can play with makeup for hours at  time.

I can even played with them without fear of having makeup all over my face, so it is great to play beauty shop with as well. I would really recommend this as a present to a little girl in your life. My girls are 4, 5, and 6 and they are very cute playing with it. I can see I need to give my oldest tips, she is putting eyeshadow on her cheeks but that will all come in time.

Wigglo Pets review - GIVEAWAY

As I'm sure a lot of you know by now I'm an animal rehabber with an absurd amount of animals. I can never understand why but my children still ask for PET???!!!?? Really what do you call the 11 cats and 2 dogs? Not to mention the squirrels and raccoons that are here then released. But still they want a pet of their own. The Wigglo Pet I got was really cute it was black with a white nose with red eyes that moved, my 4 year old daughter loved that they moved. She said they looked like real eyes. The Wigglo was only halfway out of the bag when my children ran up to me and "begged" to play with their new toy.

I showed them how to "pet" it and they fell in love. One of them carried it all over while the others tried to make it move. I would never have guessed but they were entertained for hours. The only sound I heard was the occasional fight over who's turn it was told hold the pet and lots of laughter.

Wigglo Pets are a very unique concept because  they respond to you when you pet them with no batteries to change and they make no noise. So they are a treat to parents as well.. You can feel it butt up against your hand like a cat or dog would when you pet them. My children who are 3, 4, and 5 got the biggest kick out of this toy.  My four year old twins are a boy and a girl so Wigglo is good for both genders.  They also are very light weight and small so they can take them everywhere.
