MapleHolistics - Assuage Foot Scrub

I've mentioned before my rough, dry, cracked feet so I'm sure it's not surprise that I'm always looking for ways to make them smoother. When I was able to try Assuage from MapleHolistics I was very excited. 

It's different from other foot scrubs I've used because it's gentle exofoliating. There are not a ton of big exfoliation beads, just small ones. The scrub smells light and pleasant. I can smell the peppermint and tea tree but together they make a unique scent. 

I guess it's softer than most scrubs because it has an array of oils in it. It's a thin consistency but feels great when I use it on my feet. I feel it cleaning but it's not a harsh scrub at all.  I don't think this would cure highly calloused feet but I do think it will prevent my callouses and cracks from coming back. 

It's so gentle I use it often, sometimes two or three times a week. I just take a small amount and rub it into my foot concentrating on my heels.

Bikini Ready

This summer I was not bikini ready but this year I'm kickboxing myself to being bikini ready for next summer. With children, work, housework, and errands sometimes, who am I kidding a LOT of times I don't have the energy to exercise. It's even worse now that school has started and started getting up much earlier.

As you all probably know by now I've been on a mission to lose weight. Well after a lot of ups and downs I have lost 3 lbs and counting. I don'/t walk a lot but I have always read just by being more aware you can turn everyday activities into exercise. Little things like parking in a spot that is not close to the doors so you have to walk farther to the store. Or taking stairs instead of an elevator, which I prefer to do because I am terrified of elevators.

So I thought the Ozeri Pedometer would be a great tool to help me keep track of the progress I was making. I was very happy with the quality of the Pedometer. It is made out of very durable material and the buttons are easy to push and are not flimsy.

It also has lots of other useful functions because the pedometer records steps, distance, speed, calories, and time with the world's most advanced Tri-Axis technology. It has three recording modes: today, split, and total with a new 3D Tri-Axis sensor which provides superior accuracy in any position.  It can count up to a million steps ( I don't know if I would get that  high anytime soon) with a 7 day memory. There is a built in clock, calendar, and sport timer with auto sleep mode technology. There is a blue back light to easily be seen at night.

The date and your weight is easily set by the push of a few buttons. There is an optional strap to wear around your neck. I would recommend wearing the strap around your neck only if you are walking. The Pedometer is very sensitive and if you are moving ex: riding it will read it as steps.  

Logging in calories is a great way to help weight loss and stop mindless snacking.  I never realized how many calories I ate in a day until I started tracking them. It opened my eyes to a lot of and has really helped in my weight loss. So the calorie tracker is a great tool and I recommend anyone trying to lose weight use one. It is really nice to still eat what you love but not go overboard.

Influenster Spring Fling VoxBox

So I'm back to tell you about another Influenster VoxBox and it's amazing. But duh that should be no shocker there, they are all amazing. This one is the Spring Fling VoxBox with a newly released product to fall in love with.  I know a lot of people were a little disappointed in this voxbox but hey my motto is be grateful for any freebies. I know there are 1,000 or more people who would have loved this voxbox so I will never complain.

The first thing I pulled out was a box of Kiss Everlasting French press on nails. I was super impressed with the Kiss Impress nails but they were small and did not fit me. These look similar and are medium a so I'm crossing my fingers that they will fit.   Plus a French mani is so classy to me.

The next thing is a tube of Rimmel Scandaleyes mascara. I have mentioned before I'm a huge snob when it comes to mascara but I will always be open to trying something new. I am very curious about the Scandaleyes and have wanted to try it for a long time, because I've seen amazing reviews and before and after pictures. So we will see how it measures up.

The next thing I pulled out is a Softlips cube 5 in 1 lip care to feed my lip balm addiction. I always apply lip balm I can't stand dry chapped lips. So I am oozing with excitement to try this. It is a new product and shaped differently from any other lip balm I have used. As an added bonus it has SPF 15 and that is a must for summer time. Oh and it's Pomegranate blueberry scented.

Another thing I am very excited about is the bottle of Nivea Skin Firming Hydration lotion. Claims to "improve skin's firmness in as little as 2 weeks." So ya'll may know I've been exercising and trying to lose weight but my skin needs a little firmness boost so this seems like the perfect addition to my beauty regimen. I can't wait to try it out.

When I saw the Playtex Sport tampons honestly, I was not that excited.  I have used the same protection for years now and it's not something I think about changing. If it works don't mess with it. But I am starting to be a lot more active between kick boxing classes, yoga, pilates, and not to mention swimming all summer long. Just because I never thought about it, it wouldn't be so bad to try something different. I never know I may love these and never look back.

The last thing is a LaborDay Movie car air freshener. I will tell you from the cheat sheet I really thought I was getting a DVD or code to own the movie so I was sad to see it was only an air freshener. But please refer to my motto in the first paragraph. I stand by that statement so I quickly moved on to what I was excited about trying. I can always use an air freshener for my car so I will put it to use. Plus it's a really cute and is the shape of a pie.

Eda's Sugarfree candies

When I accepted the invitation for Swaggable to try Eda's Sugarfree candy I was sort of meh about it. I don't eat a lot of hard candy and sugar free well I imagine that as taste free too.  To be perfectly honest,  I got them in a forgot about them.  One night I remembered so I grabbed them and my husband got so excited. He said he would buy these for his diabetic grandmother and eat them with her.

So I grabbed the red one, of course that is my normally my favorite  flavor and popped it in my mouth. I was very pleasantly surprised because it was very tasty. Nothing too strong or too sweet but enough to curve a sweet attack or freshen you breath.

My husband of course was eating them with me and I went to grab the grape but was already gone. So I grabbed the lighter orange which happened to be peach. It wasn't too bad but I don't care for peach my husband would have loved it. Then later on I tried the darker orange which you guessed it was orange and it was really good.

Not only are they sugar free they have no salt, no "net" carb, no fats, no glutens, and no after taste. No fat is important because I looked at the back of sugar free candy before and it had just as much fat and calories as the original candy bar.

They are hard candies but not too hard to bite into. I left mine in my mouth for a few minutes then bit and I didn't feel like I was going to crack my tooth.  Overall I am very pleased and I give Eda's Sugarfree candies two thumbs up!  Eda's website has TONS of flavors to choose from and they all sound delicious.
