Studio Gear Cosmetics

I was recently introduced to Studio Gear, and I'm so glad I discovered them. I have shared a few products from Studio Gear with ya'll. Here is a link to the amazing holiday palette and CC Cream review.  I'm sharing the Cake eyeliner, Concealer, and lipstick with ya'll today.

I like to use gel or liquid eyeliner I find it gives me better control. When I first saw the Cake Eyeliner I thought it was an interesting concept. I have used eye shadow as liner and that is what it reminds me of. I can wear black with a lot of colors so I was happy that the shade I tried was black. It also comes in Forest (green) and brown. I applied it with one of my liner brushes. I was very impressed by the control I had when applying. It doesn't go on dark but you can put a couple of coats to make it the color you want.  I love how it looked when applied under my eyes. With some liners I have a hard time getting the control that I want and not look like a raccoon.

The next product I want to tell you about is the Studio Gear Hidden Agenda concealer. It comes in five colors including Mint.  Lately I've been experimenting with concealers and this one is great. It is a great consistency and provides great coverage.  It's easy to apply, I use my fingers sometimes an eye shadow sponge to get in the creases under my eyes and blends perfectly. It doesn't flake nor can you see the concealer but the coverage is very noticeable. As tempted as I am to use a lot, it takes very little to provide the coverage I need.

The last product I want to tell you about is the Studio Gear Luxury Lipstick Lately I have been wearing lots of gloss instead of lipstick. I save the lipstick for special occasions but I still love them.  The color I chose was Repentance and it is a pretty shade of pink. I stick to the mauve and pink family but red lips is very pretty some times. This lipstick goes on great without being sticky or gooey. It wears great, is long lasting, and leaves your lips feeling great with it's built in moisturizing spheres.

I am now a huge fan of StudioGear Cosmetics they have lots of amazing make-up, brushes, and skin care products at great prices. I have been impressed with the quality and wear of all the products I have tried so far. Use code BLABBING13 at check out for 10% off your purchase!

Studio Gear CC Cream

I know I have reviewed BB Creams for y'all but I have never used a CC Cream. I go.t to try Studio Gear CC Cream to review so I was curious to see what the hype is. First of all I am new fan of Studio Gear and I have liked if not LOVED every product I have tried from them.  Those of you who are not familiar with Studio Gear check them out.  They have all your beauty needs at a great price.

This is what Studio Gear says about their CC Cream. This hydrating CC Cream transforms and enhances your complexion in an incredibly light, smooth formula. This foundation simultaneously fights aging, retains moisture, and covers and treats blemishes with a non-oily, perfectly radiant finish.  It also helps prevent wrinkles and has an SPF 20 in it.  It comes in three different shades Linen, Neutral, and Wheat for different skin tones.

I rarely find a BB Cream I can use as a foundation. I always thought BB Creams and CC Creams were almost identical so I expected to use this as a primer like I normally do. I squeezed a little out and noticed it was white. I was fascinated to watch it turn a shade that matches my skin perfectly. It smooth and blended wonderfully as well.

It's a matte coverage and the formula is extremely light weight. I provided impressive coverage so well I wore it alone with powder over it. That really is a big deal because I NEVER feel like I have enough coverage.  I loved that it never made my face feel or look oily or greasy which is great for me. I provided hydrating coverage all day, with no primer.  I am very impressed with Studio Gear Cosmetics CC Cream. I love the coverage and benefits.

Studio Gear Cosmetics Holiday Smokey Eye Palette

Studio Gear Cosmetics has lots of beautiful makeup, skin care, and brushes so they have products for all of your beauty needs. I was lucky enough to get a Smokey Eye Palette to try. The Smokey Eye Palette is specially priced at $25.00.

The Studio Gear Cosmetics Smokey Eye Palette is absolutely beautiful and it comes with four shadows and a blush. The shadow colors are Platinum, Frost, Coal, and Glimmer and the blush is Snowy Glow. It also has step by step instructions so it has everything you need to create the perfect holiday inspired smokey eye. The colors all are complimentary so you can create many looks with this palette, not just the smokey eye.  The colors are prefect for day or night wear depending on what combinations you use.

The step by step guide is very easy to follow and it includes s a picture reference. My only complaint is it mentions specific brushes sold by Studio Cosmetics when telling you what shadow to apply. But it really wasn't a big deal I just guessed which one of my brushes was the closest match.

The shadow is perfectly pigmented it goes on just right. Not too dark, not too light and goes on beautifully. It is perfect because once your rub your brush lots of shadow is ready to be applied. The shadow doesn't crease or fad either.

Here are individual swatches of each color

Platinum
Glimmer
Frost
Coal
The blush is also beautiful, I wasn't too sure about it because it looks like a strong coral hue but it goes on very pretty.  This too is the perfect amount of  powder when you run your brush over it to apply. You don't need a lot in to apply and it blends beautifully.

Studio Gear Cosmetics is offering my readers 10% off their purchase just use code SGHOLIDAY at check out, and this code never expires.
