Epica Anti-Slip Anti-Bacterial Bath Mat 16" x 28" Review

I have almost slipped in my bathtub many times. One of my girls got out and fell on her face because she slipped so I knew it was time to do something. Then as life went on I forgot about doing anything and thankfully there were no incidents to remind me. When I went on vacation I had a nonslip mat in the tub and loved it.  So when I was chosen to review this nonslip mat from Epica I was very excited. I knew it was designed to help with the problem of us slipping in the bathtub.

This mat is a rectangle shape and I was very pleased when I saw how long this mat is. It is bigger than most mats I have seen before. It covers the middle of the tub which is the most used spot when showering. So unless someone ventures way in the front or back of the tub they are protected.

The suction cups on this thing do NOT play I wanted to move it and they were stuck like I imagine an octopus holding on to it's prey.  So I KNOW it will not move even if my children get a little too active in the tub.

It is really cushiony and feels good while standing on it. So it is less strain off of my back than just the ceramic bottom. Any little bit helps if my back hurts that night and it is anti-bacterial treated as well.

I wish I would have put a Bath Mat in my tub much sooner. I think every tub should have one. This one is holding up very well so it will come with me to the new house. Whenever we move.

I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest opinion but the opinion expressed is all mine. Regardless I only recommend products I feel are good for my readers.

  1. I've been looking for a good anti-slip Bath Mat...this one looks great! I'm wondering if this one has much of a smell to it? Quite some time ago I purchased a similar mat, but ended up getting rid of it...the smell was so bad!

  2. I need to get one of these myself. I have a fear of slidding down in tge bathtub, so I usually just use the shower.

  4. I will have to check this out. I always worry about my grandkids in the tub when they start goofing around. For that matter, I could even slip and fall. Thank you for sharing this

  6. Thanks so much for the Great Review on Epica Anti-Slip Anti-Bacterial Bath Mat 16" x 28"! I used to have a bath mat in our tub for the longest time and it got so much mold and mildew, it was absolutely gross! I purchased a new one and this time I tugged and tugged to get it out every night so the tub and the mat could dry! I used to fight with this mat every night to get it out of the tub! Needless to say, it even started getting moldy as well! I then gave up! I know that we should have something in there, because both my husband and myself have bad backs. I just hate that mold and mildew! This mat that you have reviewed is mildew treated! I think that's terrific! I hope that you have good luck with this mat and that it stays mold and mildew free! Thanks for the great review and the information you provided us with! I really do appreciate it! Thanks again, Michele :)

  7. I never considered a bath mat until I slipped getting out of the shower and bruised my tailbone. They can be such a pain though as far as cleaning etc. I will have to give this one a try.

  8. You can take them off, and soak them in a little degergent and bleach every so often, and that will get rid of the gunk that forms on the bottom of the mat. Scrub them with a brush, and restick them to the tub. The more often you clean them, the less germs and mold! They are great with kids!

  9. This reminds me I need to get a bathmat for my tub. I about slipped and fell the other day. Luckily I was able to catch myself but it would still be a good idea to have one so it doesn't happen again.
