Epica Anti-Slip Anti-Bacterial Bath Mat 16" x 28" Review

I have almost slipped in my bathtub many times. One of my girls got out and fell on her face because she slipped so I knew it was time to do something. Then as life went on I forgot about doing anything and thankfully there were no incidents to remind me. When I went on vacation I had a nonslip mat in the tub and loved it.  So when I was chosen to review this nonslip mat from Epica I was very excited. I knew it was designed to help with the problem of us slipping in the bathtub.

This mat is a rectangle shape and I was very pleased when I saw how long this mat is. It is bigger than most mats I have seen before. It covers the middle of the tub which is the most used spot when showering. So unless someone ventures way in the front or back of the tub they are protected.

The suction cups on this thing do NOT play I wanted to move it and they were stuck like I imagine an octopus holding on to it's prey.  So I KNOW it will not move even if my children get a little too active in the tub.

It is really cushiony and feels good while standing on it. So it is less strain off of my back than just the ceramic bottom. Any little bit helps if my back hurts that night and it is anti-bacterial treated as well.

I wish I would have put a Bath Mat in my tub much sooner. I think every tub should have one. This one is holding up very well so it will come with me to the new house. Whenever we move.

I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest opinion but the opinion expressed is all mine. Regardless I only recommend products I feel are good for my readers.

Jenny Lynn Soaps review and giveaway

I was so excited when I was asked to a review of JennyLynn Soaps.  Since I started blogging I have come to appreciate homemade products. I love getting to meet the person behind the product and I think it is amazing that most of them are made in someone's kitchen or basement. Where ever it's made I'm always impressed when something awesome is hand made. JennyLynn has been making soaps as a hobby for three years and has decided to make it a business. I'm even more excited to be one of the the first people to share her products.

All of the soaps are organic and GMO free. The oils are a higherquality of Olive, coconut, shea, organic sun, flower, organic palm, and essential oils.  Everything is kept simple for the most sensitive allergies.  There are 22 different scents , 21 of which are available on the website at this time.
The size of the soap is approximately 5 to 5.5 ozs and labeled in brown lunch bags with a few stamps, giving it a vintage look. The prices range from $5.50 to $6.50 per bar with with free shipping offered on occasion.

I received an amazing variety of scents to review. I can tell you the box smelled amazing before it was opened. My husband texted me  "you got a package that smells like flowers"  When I got home and opened it I was so impressed. The first one I grabbed was my new favorite scent Cherry Almond. The bar is very well made and smells unbelievable.  The combination of the two scents makes an aroma that is almost edible. I was very happy with the way the soap lathered and I love that it left me feeling clean without sticky residue. The scent was lasting and lingered on my skin for some time.  After using I feel clean and my skin feels super soft.

The other scents are Grapefruit Margarita which I love it has a light fresh hint of citrus but the citrus is not too overbearing. Oatmeal Honey Goatmilk I was surprised I liked this one but it is very pleasant. It doesn't smell like honey or oatmeal but the combination makes a unique fragrance, Organic Peppermint Tea Tree - I am always a fan of peppermint scents and this one didn't disappoint. With it's invigorating peppermint scent that i could smell all day. Lavender/flowers I will admit this was not one of my favorites. I thought I was a fan of Lavender but it appears pure lavender is a bit raw and too strong for my taste. If you enjoy the smell of lavender this soap would be perfect for you.

Rose Goatmilk is another one that I instantly liked but I have always been a fan of rose scent that has always been my go to scent. The smell of Rose Goatmilk is not too flowery it has just a hint of rose. Green Clover is another scent that I was surprised by, I really liked the smell with it's fresh smell.  To me This scent would be unisex  and could be used by the entire family. Lavender Lemongrass Castile Goatmilk made with 100% olive oil this one smells much better than I expected. I could see this one being unisex as well. I was very excited to try Pachouli I have heard of the scent but never smelled it. I am not a fan of this one, the smell is hard to describe. Although I am not a fan the smell is not unpleasant just not my taste, I think this one is a bit masculine. Lemongrass smells like well lemons and I have always associated lemons with a fresh clean smell. I would use this as a bathroom hand soap.  Evergreen Lavender has a hint of lavender but is a much sweeter smell than pure lavender, that is the smell I like. This one is very pleasant, slightly flowery but not too in an annoying way. The smell reminds me of the faint smell of flowers in a near by field. I could smell this one all day as well.

I have mentioned before I have eczema and this soap did not irritate my skin at all. In fact Peppermint Tea Tree is known to temporarily relieve itching from insect bites, eczema, and poison ivy. If you check out the JennyLynn website there is an in-depth description of the soap's ingredients and benefits of those ingredients.  Some of the benefits include improving acne and help relieving achy muscles.

JennyLynnSoaps is giving one of you a chance to try a bar of her soaps in the scent of your choice, so that means it's GIVEAWAY time **** So here are the rules:

Konjac Sponge Review

I've seen lots of raving reviews for the Konjac Sponges so I was very curious about them.  When I got to work with them do review one I was very excited but I was not sure what to expect. The one I got was for normal to oily skin made with Nourishing Mineral Rich French Green Clay. When I first opened the Konjac Sponge I was little taken back it is very small and mine was moist. I should have waited to open it just before I bathed but I didn't know.

The material felt great it was very soft but once it dried it was kind of hard. It looks just like a pumice stone but feels nothing like it. When I got in the shower I wet it and put my liquid soap on the sponge and began to bath. This sponge made my soap lather more than it ever has before so the size really doesn't matter. The sponge itself feels great when you are using it. It is very soft so it's not scratchy like a Lofa and it's less abrasive than a towel.

I've been using this sponge on my body for over a week now and my skin feels soft and smooth. I also feel super clean with no irritation. I have not used it on my face but it is designed to use on both your face and body.

Konjac Sponges are 100% natural, 100% pure, 100% biodegradable, PH Balanced, deep cleanings, naturally moisturizing, suitable for even the most sensitive skin. They are made from 100% vegetable fibre, they are good for the entire family and simple but effective.

They are very affordable and there offer other sponges designed for other types of skin.

There is the Red Clay for mature or dry skin types

Pink Clay which has a softening effect so it's great for skin that exposed to extreme weather conditions

They also offer different types of sponges so you're sure to find something perfectly suited for you.
