My Thoughts:
I have had tried several different styles of earbuds over the past year. These were the ones that my boyfriend to a liking to right away. He worn them while doing the yard and said that they kept out the noise around him well. He found the quality of the sound great for the music he likes to listen to - Disturbed, Seven Mary Three, Pantera, and such. It did take him a few tries to get them to fit comfortably and securely for working in the yard when it was 100 degrees out. But everything he needed to do so was included with the set. These would make a great gift for a birthday, graduation, or any special occasion for the music lover on your gift list. I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe are worthy of my endorsement.

I have tried similar earphones and these are amazing. They are the only earphones I will use at the gym because they have no wire to get in the way.

TalknWalk Headphones

These are super comfortable and easy to wear. The speakers are very cushioned so they don't hurt my ears no matter how long I wear them. I have to say I am a little disappointed at how bulky they are. I would love to be able to bring them with me to the gym but I would be afraid to put them in my bag. I would fear that they would get cracked.

The band is easily adjusted from small to large. It's a very nice quality, hard plastic with some flexibility to it. So it goes on easily as well. The earphones themselves pivot so they will cup your ears.

All the control buttons you need are clearly marked and right there on one side. I can't express how awesome I think that is. I hate when I have to figure out what is volume or IF the skip button is on the headphones. That saves me time since i don't have to search for my phone if I need to change the song or increase the volume.

The talking part is a little more difficult to figure out but it's not impossible nor is it a big deal. The talking speaker is towards the bottom of the listening speaker so you have to wear the headphone cocked/tilted down. Instead of straight up and down but like I said no big deal. It's not like I want to have a conversation out when I'm exercising anyway! That is my time to be alone.

The sound quality is amazing with no static. They even have a slight bass boost so I can really pump up the music while I pump myself up! They stay in place while I'm walking so no need to fidget or readjust them every few minutes. The only complaint I have is they are slightly bulky or these would be perfect.

No background noise -- BrainWavz Headphones

When I go to the gym I ALWAYS have to listen to music or watch an episode of my newest "favorite" series.  I have to do something to occupy my mind or I'm always looking at the time. When I have some distraction I feel like I can get through the workout much easier.

When I was asked to review BrainWavz I was very excited. They are a very nice quality over the ear headphone. They just looked much more comfortable than the earphones that came with my iPhone. When I opened the package I got even more excited.

The first thing I noticed was the nice zipper case they are stored in. That's so awesome because now I don't have to just toss them in my gym bag and watch them get tangled as I pull them out.  Not to mention it's not squishy so it will protect them from getting broken.

Another thing I really like is there is a Velcro strap that holds the cord together when it's "rolled" up. Then it goes neatly in the case. Also the cord is very long which is GREAT! I can put my phone on the machine and listen to the head phones without putting a bind on the cord. The cord is also thin and a different material than other cords I have used.

Plus it comes with a lot of different ear pieces. As you can see some of them look way different. Some are bigger some are a foam like material, others are a little harder. The possibility of you not finding one perfect for you is very slim!

I don't know about you but sound quality is also VERY important to me. I have always liked to listen to music and even though I'm not a composer, I can recognize good sound quality. These are amazing sound quality picking up tiny detailed sounds like a bird chirping in the background. Some speakers do not work that well. Another that is amazing especially in the gym, their ability to block background nose. The worker was vacuuming around me the other day and I hardly heard anything. That goes for the talking and music playing on the speakers in the back ground as well.

The stay in my ears and don't fall out. I don't have to fight with them or readjust every few minutes. Another great thing is they don't hurt my ears. That is always a great thing!

Thanks to BrainWavs amazing quality I can be in my own little world at the gym. I hate to be rude but I always hope nobody bothers me.

FSL Xylem earphones Review

I wear earphones to the gym every day so I was very excited to review these. The looked amazing in the picture and honestly I have not purchased earphones in years. I have been using the set that came with my phone. They aren't the most comfortable things but they did the job. 

When I pulled these out I was very impressed with the wood grain finish and the material of the ear piece. It's very soft with lots of cushion. The set comes with 2 additional ear cushions in different sizes to make sure you get the best fit possible. 

I have worn these at the gym numerous times and to be honest I'm not sure if they are over the ear or just regular earphones but I've worn them both ways. And they were absolutely perfect both ways. They didn't fall out of my ears or need to be adjusted every few minutes. The cord is long enough to be pushed out the way but not too long that it gets hung up on everything.

They are very comfortable to wear they don't hurt or pinch the inside of my ears. I was very surprised at how much noise they actually block. The worker was vacuuming and I could only hear a slight bit of the noise. I didn't hear other people's conversation so I was not distracted in any way. I could concentrate on my workout.

They came in an adorable pouch for storage which I love. That way I can put them in the pouch instead them dragging loose in my gym bag, my desk, or any where I set them down.

I really wish I had gotten a new pair of earphone sooner. I never knew that they could be so much different!

Escapes - Music For Relaxing Review + Giveaway

I am not a slow music person. I love to dance so the faster the better on the dance floor. But when I'm trying to relax or fall asleep that's a different story. One of my daughters never slept without some type of slow music in her bedroom so I played lots of Kenny G until she was about 2.

When I got to review the Escapes CD I was very interested in seeing what it was like. I was thinking ocean waves, Orca sounds, or something to that effect. I was very wrong. This CD is a really relaxing CDs full melodies that are just calm and relaxing sounds. The first thing I thought was this would be great for Yoga, my husband even suggested while lying in bed talking it would be nice in the background.

The CD is long playing  and every song is just as relaxing as the next. I really enjoyed this CD much more than I expected to. I will use it for my children or myself when I need a little help getting to sleep or when I take up Yoga.

I love music my family listens to music during everything we do. Any time we are outside the music is blaring. We love to play the radio when we are in the pool but we have put it so far away to avoid it getting we, we can barely hear it.  I was so happy to review the Liztek JSS-100 HD Water Resistant Bluetooth Shower speaker.

I like music while I'm in the shower as well but since my I get all my hubby's songs from ICloud,  I'm a song skipper so I don't listen to my music since I don't want my phone getting would wet when tried to change the song. 

The speaker is very interesting in the way it is made. It is easy to change from one song to another. You can also answer a call if you want to talk to somebody in the shower. I would talk to my sister in the shower I always talk to her in the bath tub. My desire to chat while bathing had ruined lots of telephones because they do not like being dropped in water. 

The sound quality is great and is pretty loud for such a small speaker. I love having music available where we couldn't have it before. This speaker will get LOTS of use this summer. I'm a summer person and I cant' wait for summer to come around again.

Guy Penrod Christmas CD - Giveaway

Let me first day I know it's way too early to listen to Christmas Music. But it's not too early to start preparing for Christmas. It seems like it's coming faster every year. We have  a tradition of listening to Christmas music while decorating the tree as I'm sure most of you do too!  If I'm being honest with y'all (which I always am) Christmas music is NOT my favorite at all. But my husband and children love it and it's nice for the time we are decorating. 

I had never heard of Guy Penrod before I was chosen to review his Christmas CD but he is a Gospel Singer. I like some gospel music but I don't really know the singers. From listening to the CD, he has an amazing voice. It is a very soothing and smooth voice that is pleasurable to listen to. 

The CD has mostly famous Christmas songs such as Have Yourself a Merry little Christmas and O' Holy Night. There was only three songs on the entire CD that I never heard before and those were very good songs as well. 

This is one of those CDs that doesn't come along too often. You can leave it playing without having to skip songs, that hardly ever happens for me.

Mary Lambert doesn't care who knows what her secrets are so I will share a little secret with you, I am not a huge country fan but the rest of my family is. August MS425P BlueTooth Speaker review and giveaway

I've mentioned before I love music and play it on my IPhone frequently whether it's from ITunes or Pandora. We like to use my IPhone outside when the kids feel like dancing but that speaker is very weak and it's hard to make it project. I have blown a speaker on my old IPhone so we have to settle for a radio that catches very few stations.

I was so happy to get the August MS425P Blue tooth Speaker to review. It comes in six very pretty colors, of course I chose the pink one.  When I pulled it out I was shocked, it is super small with one little speaker on top. Combine that with it being light weight and it makes it very portable.

The blue tooth was very easy to install all I had to do is put it on and it was ready to go. So I pressed play and wow I was blown away. The sound quality was unbelievable I was so impressed. Then I discovered it was set on only half the volume capacity.

I could feel the base thumping when I touched the speaker so the music quality is amazing as well. Even at a loud volume there was no rattle or distortion. They have control buttons on the speaker so you can rewind or fast forward tracks from the speaker alone. Your phone can be charging in another room and you can skip songs as long as you are within 10 m. How sweet is that! There is also a call button so you can answer a call via the speaker. I was completely blown away by this speaker and it even impressed the hubby.

The battery life seems to be long lasting since I have not had to recharge it yet. I can think of tons of places to use this speaker so I know it will get lots of use. It also comes with an audio jack that allows you to connect to non-blue tooth devices as well.

Yak Pak review and giveaway

When I saw Yak Pak reviewed by a fellow blogger I was so intrigued by the variety of bright, colorful products they offered. They have any thing from bags, dog leashes, to cell phone accessories all very bright and uniquely designed so the colors caught my eye. I was delighted when they agreed to work with me and I couldn't wait to share these products with ya'll.

I was given my choice of a list of products and I liked so many of the products and I could have used  lots of them. The product I chose after a lot of thought was a Mini Speaker for my IPhone.  It took me a long time to choose but this seemed like the natural choice because my family loves music. My children and I dance almost daily and my IPhone is usually the source of the music.  The problem with using the IPhone is the speakers are not that loud and even on highest volume they really don't project enough to hear around a room. We have a set of portable speakers that I could hook to my phone but they require an outlet. So I would have to stop what I'm doing find an open plug and plug them in. Then move them from room to room finding outlets as I go.  I have never wanted that hassle so those speakers stayed plugged in my bedroom and only used while I was in that room.

These Mini speakers are battery operated, extremely light, and very portable. I can plug them into my phone and carry both from room to room enjoying my playlist along the way. They only have an on off switch so the volume is controlled from your phone and as you can see they can stand up and be supported by the little wire piece on the back. I know they are named mini speakers but don't let the size fool you these little things put out lots of sound.  I can play my music in the kitchen and here it clearly in the bedroom without my phone being at max volume. The speakers really saved the speakers on my phone.  My last phone had a blown speaker because I guess my music was a little too loud one day. I can't help my love of music but I can save my phone speakers thanks to YakPak's awesome Mini Speakers.

These speakers are adorable they are pink back and a grey front decorated with colorful heart and I'm so glad they are girly. My husband mentioned they would be great for him to use in the truck since he likes to listen to his phone while driving and he doesn't have an adapter. I told him sure you can use them but they are PINK with little colorful hearts. So guess what, they are all mine, I don't have to worry about him taking them.
