Komax -- Biokips food storage containers /Ice Tray review

Since I discovered air tight seal containers that's all I want to use. The save so much of my food and in turn save me money. We use them a lot for lettuce because that goes bad so quickly and we use a lot of lettuce and other greens to feed the animals. So when I was able to work with Komax and do a review I was very excited to see they have lots of sets that have air tight containers.

I got a set of seven containers with a lunch box all with air tight lids that are surprisingly easy to use. The other "air tight" set I used I had to sit on it to get all the air out then snap it closed. And that is NOT an exaggeration.

I was a little worried about the size of the containers because they are not big. But when I started using them, they are a great size and don't take up too much room in the fridge.  They are great for lunch boxes because they all have separate containers inside to stop food from running together. But the great thing is those dividers can be removed so I can use them all as one large container. So there are 16 variations in the set of 8 containers. 

 Although small and compact the containers are very roomy. They hold a lot more than I expected. They are very easy to clean. I have not put them in the dishwasher yet nor do I know if they can be put in the dishwasher. But hand washing them is a breeze and they have been used and washed a lot of times with no damage. They still look brand new. 

I also got an Ice tray with a cover. I thought it was such a nice idea for my camper. I always have to fill up the ice tray before we leave because the movement will of course spill the water every where. So I was very excited for this tray too. And I love that it's compact so it won't take up too much room in that already tiny freezer. 

I never knew there were ice trays like this out there. This was so easy to fill in the house and then bring to my camper. I didn't have to worry about the water spilling the entire way there. And it is leak PROOF, you know I had to try it. I turned it completely upside down with. No water came out!

  

The ice tray is compact but there are a lot of ice cubes that can be made in a full try. That's another plus of the cover, it can be filled to the to. The ice cubes are a nice size but not extremely big. 

I am very pleased with these products and they are getting tons of use at my house. If you want to get your own set. Here is the storage containers and the IceTray.
