Montagne Jeunesse Face Masque review

If you have been following me for a little while you know I love to pamper myself with a face mask. I have tried lots of different types and brands.  I have talked you before about Montagne Jeunesse face masques but they have launched some new ones that I very happily got to review for y'all. If you are not familiar with Montagne jeunesse they are a cruelty free skin and hair care company based in an eco-friendly headquarters. So they make goodies for your skin and hair and are good to the earth. And a huge plus they don't test on animals so you can feel good about buying their products.

I love their masques and use them frequently because they are not only effect but extremely affordable. But what I recently found out is they have very affordable skin care for everything from eye to toes. I will have to search for these products.

As you can see I received 4 appealing face masques. Please know I  didn't have a chance to use them all but I did try one and loved it but I will tell you about all of them.

The  one I tried was Creamy Coconut a hydrating vitality boost for tired skin. I loved the texture of this mask. I have never felt a creamier mask. This mask was not stick or gooey like most mask I have used. It went on white but after 15 minutes when it dried it disappeared almost like it absorbed into the skin. It washed off very easily with warm water. My skin felt clean, smooth, and soft.  There is also a generous amount of mask in the packet almost enough to share with with friend. One of my favorite face mask that I have ever used.

The next one I received is the Aloe Vera Face Spa a soothing and cleaning fabric facial -- I am trying this one next it is a fabric mask which i have never tried plus it say 5 minute beauty fix so you only have to leave it on 5 minutes for results. No more excuses that you don't time for a face mask.  Through the pack the fabric feels thin and light weight.

The next one is Manuka-Honey Peel off - a Famous natural  cleanser. I have always heard great things about honey. I have used honey for every thing from treating allergies to stopping a cough. There is no doubt that honey will be refreshing on my skin. I have used lots of peel off and it gives the subconscious impression that it is peeling away all the dirt and debris ( I'm sure in some sense it's not all in my mind)

Last but not least Super Fruit Mud - Cleanses and Nourishes - Restores to the Core I'm not sure why but when I think of a spa day I picture a mud mask. Plus I have used mud mask at home and really like them. I'm excited to try this one with mixture of Goji Berry and Pomegranate I'm sure it smells fantastic.

Montagne Jeuness face masques have never disappointed. I have loved almost every one I've tried but at a little of $2.00 a piece I don't feel guilty about buying all of them to try.

Snowberry Skin care

When I read about SnowBerry Skin care I knew I wanted to try it. It is skin care from New Zealand that was born of necessity. The founder and cosmetician Soraya Hendeis said she was simply unable to find skin care she felt she could trust.  I was so excited when I got a chance to review a few products for y'all.

Since she was unable to find the skin care she wanted for herself she set out to create something entirely new. She waned skin care that would make no compromises - not in functionality or safety, nor in the inclusion of optimum quantities of the finest bio active ingredients obtainable anywhere in the world. She was determined to create an uncomplicated system of natural beauty care that worked.

Based the website's recommendations for my oily/combination skin the chose the Nourishing Exfoliator, Instant Deep Cleanser, and Gentle Remineralising Toner. All of them have no lauryl sulphates, petrachemicals, propylene or butylene Glycals, valatile alcohols silicones, DEA or MEA ingredients. They are dermatologist tested and NOT tested on animals.

The Gentle Remineraliing toner is different from any toner I have used before. This one is a gel that lathers into a foam then you wash it off.  It lathers nicely and leave my face feeling clean with no sticky residue. I used it after my cleanser and just applied my moisturizer over it. It is a medium consistency with a light scent. I really like it and since it is a combination product that tones and cleanses at the same time.  Unless you have a heavy amount of make this product is all you need to cleanse your face so it's also a time saver!

The Instant Deep Cleanser, is you guessed it, a liquid facial soap.  It's a thin consistency and also has a light smell. It doesn't lather very much which is a little off putting to me. I associate lather with cleaning so in my mind my face is not getting clean. That is probably not true at all but that is my opinion. That being said, after use my face feel soft without any stickiness. It is recommended to use the Instant Deep Cleanser in the evening because it excels at removing makeup and the Remineralising toner in the morning.

The Nourishing Exfoliator is a very gentle exfoliating cream.   Of course being an exfoliator it has beads, the beads are very effect because you can feel them scrubbing yet they are gentle.  It works into a slight lather and the beds slowly dissolve the entire time it feels like it is moisturizing while exfoliating. It has a very pleasant light smell. I love this exfoliator it my favorite of the three.

Boots Botanics Clay mask

In my Jadore voxbox post I told you I received a Boots Botanics Clay mask. Y'all know I've said before that I love face mask. They are a great way to pamper myself without having to leave my house. This mask is no different.

The mask is a rich oceanic clay mask that contains a negative electrical charge which acts like a magnet helping to draw deep-rooted impurities out of skin without drying. Its hydrating and oil absorbing properties leave skin soft, smooth, and wonderfully cleansed.

The first time I tried this mask I was very impressed. It applies easily just shake the tube and squeeze then spread it over face and neck. Then wait it dries pretty quickly I only left it 10 minutes and I did not use sparingly.  It was pretty funny when I walked out my oldest son jumped, guess I scared him.

It hardened and then I couldn't move my face. For some reason I love that feeling but I do have a hard time not talking for that long. Maybe subconsciously I like that being forced into silence and nobody can talk to me.

The mask removed easily now the directions say wipe off but I did rinse with a warm towel. My face experienced no irritation and my skin felt great after I washed it off. I give this mask two thumbs up. I will use the rest of the tube and I would purchase more once I run out.

Bella Pulse review and GIVEAWAY

I have always wanted to try a facial cleaning system but I hate to spend that kind of money and not know if I'm going to like it.  So when I got to review a Bella Pulse from SkinPro I cut  few back flips. The kit comes with the system, 2 brushes one cleansing one exfoliating, a sponge, a massage head, Rose Hip Seed Cleanser, AHA Exfoliating Cleanser, Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer. So it includes everything that I needed to get started. The heads are easily changed they just snap on and off.

That evening I ripped it open and grabbed a brush.  I had a hard time deciding which brush was the cleaner and which brush was the exfoliating brush but I really didn't matter. I used the exfoliating cleanser first, the directions say use a dime size amount but I'm a rebel so I used more of a nickle size.  I turned the brush on and put it against may face. It was so invigorating with the pulsing it made the cleanser lather wonderfully. My face felt amazing clean with absolutely no irritation.

Then I put a small amount of moisturizer on the sponge dabbed it on my face then turned the Bella Pulse on. I could feel it working the moisturizer into my skin. It also made my face feel so refreshed. The moisturizer is a thick white constancy and is slightly heavy but it's not overwhelming or uncomfortable. I can wear it under my make up with no pealing, flaking or annoyance.

When I tried the Rose Hip Seed Cleanser I was intoxicated by the smell. I'm sure you can guess it smelled just like roses. I have this fascination with roses and love the smell so I immediately feel in love. I used a small amount and cleaned my face this cleanser lather amazingly as well and made my face feel unbelievable.

The Rose Hip is for morning use and the Exfoliating Cleanser is for evening use. The instructions say remove eye makeup but I have always removed all of my make up before using the system.  I have one bad habit I get so caught up with the system I forget to use my toner but I never missed it.

I have never had a facial but I can imagine this is how it would feel. So I have the pleasure of getting a facial every day twice a day in  my own home. Boy does my face thank me! Bioque Cleanser and ReFinisher Review and giveaway

Skin care is the most important beauty regimen you can do because without the proper skin care no amount or brand of makeup will be effective. It has been said by experts time and time again skin care products are one thing you should splurge on. That really makes sense to me, you can't get more skin. There are procedures to correct damage but if you can prevent needing them why wouldn't you? Bioque recently sent a gentle Skin Purifying Cleanser and Skin Refinisher for my review.

The Skin Purifying Cleanser is a paraben/sulfate-free facial wash. The site says it is the "ultimate cleanser for all skin types. " As with all cleansers I used this twice a day. It smells is amazing with the soft scent of oranges. The consistency is perfect because when you squeeze out a dime size amount (that is the recommended amount) it doesn't run out of your hand, but it's not extremely thick. It lathers wonderfully which makes it super easy to rub onto your face. It didn't dry my face out after using either. I have had facial cleanser that literally had me running for the moisturizer.

The Skin Refinisher is a facial scrub the site says it "provides smoothing exfoliation of discarded skin cells to help achieve a more youthful appearance." This is one of the most gentle facial scrubs I have ever used. The scrubbing beads are big enough to be effective but small enough not to irritate the skin. This product also had the amazing soft scent of oranges while using it. The exfoliator I used before so so thick, almost chunky and that made it hard to spread.  This one was not like that it was a great consistency and very easy to spread. Just like with an exfoliator you massage into your skin for a few minutes then was clean. Bioque recommends using the Skin Re-finisher at LEAST once a week.  I have used it more often without irritation.

I have been using the two for about a week now and my skin feels great. All I do is use the cleanser twice a day and the refinisher every other day, then follow with my usual toner and moisturizer.
