Coconut Scented Soy Candles - Giveaway

I love candles I would burn candles daily but they "bother" my husband and give him headaches. So what I do is burn them when he is at work. I was very excited to try this Coconut Scented Soy candle because is so extremely unique. It is in a real coconut shell and it's made in Hawaii. Hopefully it won't be the ONLY thing I ever have in my house from Hawaii. A trip to Hawaii is on my bucket list so hopefully i will make it there one day. 

The shell is so interesting I have never seen a coconut in person. When I opened the shell I immediately caught a whiff of the amazing candle. 

I do not find it smells like coconut but more like a tropical paradise. It has the amazing smell it is nothing over powering but beware it is intoxicating and almost addictive. 

The look is very cute so I put it in my entertainment center on display. When I opened the door to put a DVD in I could smell the amazing aroma of this candle. So without having to burn it, it can smell up a room. 

Being a soy candle it burns very clean and will last a long time. Even after hours there was very little wax missing. And the wick was not a big black ball like some wicks I have seen after burning.

Old Factory Candle Gift Set Review + Giveaway

I love candles, I could burn them everyday.  It's not always about the way it makes my home smell it's the ambiance it creates.  Think about it, it's proven that scents trigger associations in your brain. Certain scents can make decrease your appetite. Other scents can trigger found memories so candles are a pleasure for me to burn.  I like finding unique scents so when I was chosen to review an Old Factory Candle set for y'all I was excited when I saw their scent choices.

Majority of the scents are very unique so I had a hard time choosing the set I wanted. They have a Holiday set with scents like Christmas Tree, Candy Cane, Gingerbread that I thought long and hard about getting. I figured it would have been perfect for this time of year.

But I went in a different with the cold weather coming I wanted a tropical getaway, even if it was only in my mind. So I chose the Vacation set with these three scents: Sea Breeze, Hawaiian Lei, Awapuhi. I was  a little nervous after I ordered I wasn't sure if they would smell overly sweet.

The set has three candles and they are in a cute 2 oz jar with a label that has an old fashion appearance. I lit my first one Hawaiian Lei  and it smells amazing. Awapuhi smells amazing this one has a little bit more of a sweet smell than Hawaiian Lei but still just a pleasant smell nothing over whelming. Just as a note my mailman left my package sideways at my door step and Awapuhi melted. It made a mess but still had majority of the candle in the jar or went back in the jar. I was very impressed because I still have a lot of candle to enjoy. I think only this one melted because it was the first on top. Either way no complaints but that does show how slow burning they are.

The scent (like with most candles) fills the air but you don't smell it until you walk out then walk back into the room. The smell was not too sweet but more inviting and dreamy. The scent makes me wish/dream about being on an island in Hawaii smelling the flowers as the breezes blows softly.  I KNOW I'm not there and I will probably never get to Hawaii but there's nothing wrong with creating my own escape every now an then.

Every candle is Made in the USA with natural soy wax and self-trimming cotton candle wicks. Each gift pack comes with 3 fragrance-themed candles. Each of which burns clean for over 20 hours. The scent can be used in any room.  Since they are soy they burn extremely clean. Even when I blew the candle out there was no black smoke and no black ball at the end of the wick. I burned the one I lit a long time and there is hardly any wax missing so I can see that they will burn for a long time.

Pretty Woman Perfume review and giveaway

I love perfume and love to discover new fragrances. I normally don't have a specific type of anything and perfume is so different.  I have quite a few different perfumes that are way different in scent. So when Pretty Woman Perfume agreed to work with me I was so happy.

I agree with Pretty Woman by Barbara Orbison " a perfume makes you feel complete. It singles you out from the crowd; it brings out the best in you; it empowers you; it is an instant memory; it is undeniably you!" I have never thought about it before but that statement is very true. How many times I'm walking out the door and go back to grab my perfume. No matter where I'm going or what fragrance I'm in the mood for, I don't feel complete without it.  The right fragrance can make me feel flirty or sexy it may be subconscious but my perfume is very powerful.

Pretty Woman was very generous in and sent me a Black Fragrance Candle, a full size bottle of Pretty Woman perfume, and an On the Go package so I have lots of goodies to review for y'all.

The perfume is an intoxicating smell with's a blend of lots of different scents including favorites like rose red, carnation, and vanilla.  The scent is hard to describe but it is not too fruity, flowery, or too sweet.  The scent is light but very noticeable and it has extreme lasting power. I wore it all day and it didn't fade.  The smell is more for the woman who love a spicy perfume because on me that is the scent that stood out the most. But we all know that a perfume reacts with you body's chemistry so it may be way different on you.

The On the Go is great for us free spirits that love to travel.  With three mini but nice size travel size bottle so Pretty Woman perfume, there is no need to pack your full bottle and run the risk of it getting broken.  They are so portable but tightly closed, you can have your favorite smell with you anywhere you go. Great for a gym or beach bag or throw one in your purse. Although very long lasting you never know what circumstances will cause the need to reapply. 

The black candle is not only stunning in appearance it is impressive because the smell is identical to the Pretty Woman Perfume. The candle holder is very beautiful and heavy so it should not get easily chipped even if you are clumsy like me.

Okay confession time, I love candles my hubby fusses about my collection of candles all of time. Just recently we got a new entertainment center and I had to get rid of some of my candles. Depressing I know but my sister gave some of them a good home. So when I got to review a Jewelry in Candle by Chrissy for y'all I thought what could be better a candle with a piece of jewelry in it, win, win!!

There are a few companies out there that offer jewelry in candles but they truly are all different. Jewelry in candles lets you decide what type of jewelry you want that includes necklace, bracelet, earrings, or a ring. if you choose a ring you get to pick your size as well. That's great because I can't imagine getting a fantastic ring and not fitting it. They also offer different stones besides diamonds so you never know what color you might gets.

I chose a Strawberry candle and it smells amazing. It's not too strong or too sweet smelling. It smells up the room without being overpowering. The candle burns very clean, there was hardly any black residue on the the wick and it didn't pop when burning.

It says the candle will burn for 100 hours and I believe it because I burned it enough to get my ring out and there isn't much missing at all.  It's an all natural soy candle so the wax melts clean as well. Patience is not one of my strong suites but I love the anticipation of waiting to see what ring i got. They can be anywhere for $10 - $10,000 I just keep waiting to pull a $10,000 ring out.

Unfortunately my ring is more than likely only worth $10.00 but no matter how much the ring is worth it's super cute. It's a yellow stone with a silver flower shaped base. I will wear it with anything it matches. They also sell tarts that have jewelry in them so if your more of tart fan, those would be great for you.
