Do you exfoliate? Why should you? I recently discovered exfoliation is amazing for your skin. It keeps it looking young and glowing. Have you ever looked at your skin and thought it was dull? Or did it lack any since of shine? I started noticing in my legs that the hair follicles were big. It was odd, I am not even sure how to explain it but my skin looked off. So I decided to be diligent about exfoliating. I was AMAZED by the difference ( also hydrated after) but wow!

Sacred Earth Body Balm and Body Scrub review/GIVEAWAY

I have a bad habit of walking around barefoot. I love the feeling of sand or grass on the bottom of my feet. The problem is normally at the end of the grass or sand there rocks or cement and those are not so soft. So there is no way my heel can stay smooth no matter how hard I try.  I put lotion on them and they will be okay for a few minutes but back to normal after that.

When Sared Earth Products agreed to work with me for a review of their goddess collection. I was excited for two reasons. One I have never used Sacred Earth products and two I never tried a body balm.

When I first open my jar of body Balm I did not think I would like it. It's consistency is way different from any lotion and it's slightly hard. But then I took a little out and rubbed my palms together like recommended in the directions and applied to my heels. It was a little oily but nothing I couldn't handle. WOW I was amazed a little later when I saw how smooth my heels were.

I used the balm every day for a few days now on my heels and elbows with amazing results. No cracks or roughness, I can wear my sandals with no embarrassment this summer. It also cleared up a little patch of eczema on the top of my foot. It is a repair balm and can be used all over to treat callouses, cracks and dry patches, razor bumps, sun damage, sagging and wrinkles, ashen skin, dark spots, acne and blackheads.

The natural salt scrub is made with precious ingredients from the Dead Sea and Therapeutic grade essential oils.  Designed to bring Luxe spa to your home. The scrub I got is the goddess Maia - Ocean goddess of springtime, warmth, and abundance. Great for skin concerns like anti-aging, acne, sensitive skin, and anti-fungal .  With ingredients like Rosewood it also aids in your well being by helping you from being anti-depressive, overworked/overwhelmed plus reduces stress and anxiety.

The scrub is light and airy but works great at exfoliating. It is very gentle and soft on my skin. I was impressed at how soft it is. Normally scrub is grainy and a little rough, I thought it had to be to work. Not so with this Sacred Earth scrub. It is grainy when you first dig in the jar but the minute it hit my skin it turned into a soft scrub.

Pure Yogi Chocolate Orange Body Scrub Review and Giveaway

I have always exfoliated my face and feet but my body, not so much. I had a few body scrubs but they were just meh, there was nothing exciting about them. Then one day my sister in-law gave me a sugar scrub to try.  I loved it and used every drop of it in just  a few weeks. I did my hands, elbows, and feet daily. I also read somewhere if you exfoliate before you shave it will make you have to shave less. I'm all for that so so I started using a scrub on my legs before I shaved.

When I was asked to choose something from Pure Yogi to review I knew I already had e a full scrub and didn't NEED another (my sister in-law gave me another) but chocolate orange sounded like an interesting combination. I also didn't think it would be much different from the one I was using., that was not true at all. The first time I used the Chocolate Orange Body Scrub I was blown away by how moisturizing it is. I have never had scrub moisturize while I used it. Sure I have felt smoother after using but not during use but this one my skin immediately felt SUPER soft and silky.

This scrub also is textured enough to work but dissolves wonderfully while using. I can't believe it took me this long to mention the smell, but WOW. The smells is amazing pretty much like a chocolate bar, it smells edible I haven't eaten it (don't plan to) but I'm sure it wouldn't taste good.  This is the best scrub I have ever used and I do plan to purchase more once I run out.  The ingredients are all natural: organic mineral salt, sunflower oil, vitamin E, cocoa, coffee, bitter orange peel, orange and chocolate.  As it's not full of chemicals and  it is also not harsh on your skin. I occasionally suffer with eczema and can use this with no problem. In fact there is a spot of eczema on my foot that I have to scrub or it won't go away.

A little about Pure Yogi is an eco-friendly company that sells a variety of yoga props, as well as luxurious eco-fashion clothing items, and accessories. I'm a little clumsy but I love yoga and Pilates it's just hard to find the time.  There are lots of things I loved on the site their tops and pants are so cute. You can also purchase accessories they have yoga mats, blocks, and workout videos. I really hope they come out with a lotion and maybe bath gel soon to pair with the scrub.
