When I was asked to work with Rain I was super excited. Although they have so many amazing products, I knew almost immediately what product I NEEDED to try. I will explain why it was a no brainer for me. They have an Aloe and Avocado line that get this -- helps calm and destress. I'm sure you are wondering why a full time working, animal rehabbing, blogging, mother of 6 -- yes six now -- would have any stress and need something to help calm her, but hey, no matter how relaxed our lives are we all need help some times.
When I told Rainliving.com that I wanted to review the Aloe and Avocado line I wondered how it would smell. It was intriguing but it also seemed like an odd combination. I'm not sure about you but Avocados do not smell good to me.
But when I opened the package, I was amazed. Almost intoxicated. The smell was so pleasant and actually relaxing. When I smelled the bottle it brought about a certain calm, feeling. I received the lotion and bath gel both were in a beautiful glass bottle with a pump dispenser. I initially thought how pretty they were and would make nice gifts.
When I think of an all natural soap I think of something that does not lather. But this Avocado & Aloe bath gel lathers a LOT. I love an abundance of lather it makes me feel so super clean. I don't feel that soap scum after using and this bath gel does not dry out my skin. I can't say how much I LOVE the smell when the soap is lathering it just like to take a deep breath and inhale the relaxing scent. Some days I should carry the bottle around with me, I wonder it that would help?
The lotion is soft and creamy with the same amazing smell as the bath gel and it absorbs in seconds. It feels super silky and doesn't irritate my skin. It's not greasy or oily once it absorbs I don't feel it at all.
Rain is primarily available online line but they have branched out with a New York Store. Which hopefully is one store of many to come. They won't need much luck on this venture with all the amazing products they offer. Did I mention there is a baby line was well?? With my newest addition to the family I had to go check it out! The booties and bibs oh my. I love baby things.
