3 Piece Grooming kit

Having the right tools always makes a job so much easier. I know this and yet I was cutting my dogs' hair with our scissors. So when i was able to review this set I was very excited.. The set has one straight pair, one thinning pair, and one curved pair so there is a pair for every job.

I have two Shih Tzus and they have TONS of hair, I mean tons . Neither of them want to be PrimaDonnas with clean long beautiful flowing hair. They would rather be nasty and roll in what ever stinky spot they can find. That is NOT what I wanted in a dog that is why I have ShihTzus I'm thinking how cute the little mops would be running around. But you take what you get and work with it so my babies fur stays very short.

We were using a groomer but that can get very costly so I decided give it a try myself. Like I mentioned I was using our scissors and there is something terrifying about going at a dog's eye with a sharp pair of scissors.My dogs never kept still and when I was nervous they felt it and became uncomfortable too. Then the job got stressful and we both were aggravated for nothing because I can't finish.

With these I was very surprised how comfortable I felt cutting my dog's face. I used the curved pair. It was so easy to go around his eyes and cut those stubborn hairs that usually irritate him. He flinched a couple of times but he let me keep cutting. Even my blind dog didn't mind me cutting his eyelashes. I was done in no time. Then I used the thinning scissors for his beard and head. Those are so easy to use and they are blunt so I wasn't afraid of them either. Then the regular cutting pair doesn't have an extremely long sharp tip so those aren't any danger either.

The handles are easy to grip and the finger holes are very comfortable to hold. They also change positions easily and comfortably. The price of these is steal too. That's less than half of what I pay every 6 weeks to have my dogs trimmed. I would recommend these for anyone that grooms a dog or wants to try grooming their dog.

Which is a ton of cools things but some that was very important to me, it also includes tools to keep things from your monthly boxes organized. I thought that was just AWESOME. No cards lying around, no wondering "where am I going to put this. " just fabulous. There is a little lunch box to hold (okay that is what I'm doing with it) the animal play figure, there is a ring to hold all of the animal information cards.

I also received the zebra kit. Which was amazing. It had a magnet which was immediately stuck on my fridge, and everything you see below. My daughter BEGGED to the Magic Nuudies activity and was crushed when I asked her to wait for her brothers and sisters.

As soon as her brother's and sisters got home my daughter HAD to tell them about the Zebra "stuff" she got in the mail. She was so excited by this I will order the monthly subscription for her (them).  I feel great about it because I have a neat place to store the animals and informational cards and I also feel great because my children are having fun and learning at the same time.

Another thing very awesome about the Animal Tracker club is although there are lots of fun things it includes fun facts that educate the child(ren) about that specific animal.

Sugared Cranberry Pet Odor Exterminator Candle

I love dogs I always have. The only two dogs I have right now are Gizzy and Ceaser they are both Shihtzus because I thought I love fluff. Don't get me wrong I love fluff balls to look at or watch on TV but wow it's a lot to take care of. So my ShihTzus are not fluff balls we get them groomed very short. Neither of them are extremely prissy so it's just easier that way.

Would you believe me if I told you those two little mongrels are the stinkiest dogs I have ever smelled? The worse part of that is whatever room they are in stinks as well. I know this is not beauty related but I need your help. We have been rescuing animals for years that is how we became home to 11 cats and 3 dogs right now. The countless others have been placed in good homes or have since passed away.  Recently we became licensed wildlife rehabilitators and  in addition to 11 cats, 3 dogs, and 5 children, we now are raising 5 orphaned raccoons, and 3 injured squirrels plus we recently released two ducks back into the wild. We are the only wide life rehabbers in our immediate area and we are getting multiple calls daily for advice or to take in more animals and we seem to be more in demand as the days go by.  The phone is ringing while I am writing this post, it was a guy  about a bird. We don't take birds we have never had any success with them.


Our non-profit organization is called Cajun Squirrel Rescue but unlike the name implies we take all small mammals. We have a lot of supplies but as the amount of animals we take in grows we are finding ourselves in need of more -- animal cages, dog kennels, bedding (dog or not) blankets, fruits and vegetables, paper towels, baby wipes, Lysol or Clorox Wipes, dog food, animal toys (yes squirrels and raccoons love to play) or even your old Tshirts, and of course cash or gift cards would be welcome as well.
