I have a huge walk in closet that was built to my specifications and still cannot fit all of my shoes and clothes on my side of that closet. So needless to say I have this motto you can never have enough clothes. My husband feels way different. I have even had friends feel different but I love clothes. So when I saw Alight.com I was very excited to work with them.
Alight.com is a plus size sight with the cutest clothes. They have clothes that any women would like to wear, not clothes that are typically designed for plus size women. I will say the plus size clothing has come a long way over time. I just recently started needing plus size but my mom wore plus sizes and she would have a hard time finding clothes.
I guess designers are starting to realize that not all of us are lucky (If you consider it lucky) enough to be a size 1. At my skinniest I was never a size 1 and because I'm big boned ( I really am) I never fit smaller clothes like my friends. Anyway... of topic.
When I was selecting what I wanted to review for y'all I didn't have a hard time picking out a ton of items I would wear and I only looked at the dresses. So imagine how many things I would have found if I looked through everything.
The Fuchsia Short Smock Dress they sent me is super cute and fun for the summer. It is strapless with a little tie around the neck. I hardly ever wear strapless but I really like it. I debated for a while if I should get the 1X or 2X and eventually went with the 1X. I am always scared to buy clothes on line because I don't know my measurements and I do take different sizes.
I'm glad I went with the 1X the fit is great. The material is thick but not heavy and s so soft and silky feeling. The top is gathered and stretchy but still very soft and the bottom of the dress flows perfectly. The dress is extremely well made and looks like it will stay sewn after many washes.
