Of all the inanimate objects I could fall in love with, I never thought a showerhead would be one. I like a shower like the next person but with the showerheads I have used they have just been a "shower" and nothing special.
When I went on vacation there was a showerhead and a rain fall vent in the ceiling. It was really relaxing and unique so I enjoyed it a lot. When I was chosen to review the Hotel Spa Giant Rainfall Shower head I was very excited but I figured it would be just another showerhead but the temperature color changing aspect really made me curious.
When I pulled out the showerhead I was not expecting it to be so big I mean it was huge but of course 10" is pretty big for a showerhead. I was very happy to see that because I have always wanted a big showerhead but the last one I bought was horrible. It was big but had an extremely HARD stinging water pressure. It hurt to take a shower, no one should experience that.
This one was very easy to install it comes with everything you need to install including the plumbing tape so the connections don't link. It also has an adjustable extension bar to hang the showerhead on. It's very easy to adjust with just the turn of a knob. The bar also has a wide range of motion and can be any height you choose.
The color changing feature is AWESOME blue tells you it's still too cool to get in, green says the water is perfect you can get in, red says the water is too hot turn a little more cool on. The thermostat is really accurate because I could boil myself in hot water but when the color turns red, it really is too hot for me to use. This would be a nice feature for just the ambiance of a colored light while showering as well. There is something relaxing and majestic about a green light in the shower.
The water flow is amazing it's perfect no stinging or gushing just the perfect amount of water. I really thought with the showerhead being so large it would drown me, but it is an amazing shower. This showerhead is something I now look forward to after a long workout or a long day.
