When I grew up it was me, my mother, and two sisters so there was no men around.  Then I started dating and I was asked to be nanny of a little boy. Needless to say when it came to buying gifts for me or boys I was totally clueless. I can pick out things for my boys most of the time but even now unless my husband tells me specifically I want this, I have no idea what to buy. I mean besides the norm watches and clothes but that gets . My hubby loves knives but I never think to buy them when a special occasion comes along.

When I was chosen to review the Classic knife from Parker River I knew immediately it would be for my hubby.  Parker River has a few different colors and styles to choose from and for a small fee you can get it engraved. There are a five different fonts to choose from and you can choose what you want to say.

 I received the classic knife in Rosewood and I chose Stego print to have the words "You're the best" engraved on it. It came in way early but I gave it as part of a father's day gift. It came in a "manly" burlap bag. There is also a penny taped to the box. I thought I knew why it would come with a penny but the explanation on the site is different. The knife and blade are both super heavy. The blade easily comes out and the retracts with the press of a button.
