Further exploring Lumia 830

One of my favorite features of the Lumia 830 is it comes with the full  suite of Microsoft Office programs and a free 15GB of storage in OneDrive. One Drive is similar to ICloud but my phone does not have Microsoft Office and there are many times I have to get up and to a laptop or desktop to open attachments.

That's not a problem with Lumia plus you can type up Office documents on the go without having to pull out a bulky laptop. You can work while traveling! I just recently took a plane that was so packed I could barely move so there's no way I could have gotten to a laptop much less opened it. So if you travel a lot this could be awesome for you.

Even if you don't travel a ton you can type up a quick note to your child's teacher in the office suite.  You know while it's on your mind. If you are like me it will slip your mind later. Since it's saved in One Drive it will be at your fingertips to print later.

This is one of my favorite features of the Lumia830 because it just makes things more convenient for me.

i was a die hard iPhone fan, no one could persuade me that any phone was as good much less better. Since I touched my first one I have never even considered another phone. So when I was able to take the LumiaSwtich challenge I was ready to rip the phone apart.

But the problem is now that I've used the Nokia Lumia 830 I can honestly say I was so wrong for not considering any other phone. Now I 'm going to help you bust myths about the Nokia and switching phones.

1. The first thing I thought was this phone is too Big ~~ But you know big is not always a bad thing right? Bigger means a larger screen, easier to read text, and larger icons.  It's also comfortable to hold and easily slides in my purse. So tell me again why did I think bigger was bad? 
   
2.  You can't get all the cool games and icons that you do on iPhone. Again WRONG they have awesome games and icons, most of the exact same as the iPhone. And with a bigger screen that's more playing area for those games. So again, not so bad, right!? 
   
3. There is no iTunes therefore no music. Okay, I'll give one thing, there is no iTunes. But that doesn't mean there's no music. You can upload music from the Xbox music store. So if you have any on you Xbox already they are now on your phone. But that's NOT all there is an AM/FM radio and Music mix radio with lots of music to listen to. You just have to take the time to set them up.
   
    
4. It SOO hard to switch phones, I will loose everything. Okay so this one is the biggest lie of them all. There is a site that you go to switch all of your apps, contact, pictures whatever from any phone to your new Lumia. 

So these are just a few of the things that stopped me from exploring all phone options out there. I can tell you I love the Lumia. My husband even LOVES the Lumia. Cortana is great to use and more extensive than using Siri. She also understands me a lot more. 

The Lumia is super easy and fun to personalize. It's also very user friendly. All of the links work on this phone. There is no need to try to run to a desktop to enter contest or see what that link is for ~~~ All of my iPhone people will know this pain. The Lumia camera is amazing and the color quality is awesome. not to mention it's MUCH faster than my iphone. Everything loads almost instantly.
