No background noise -- BrainWavz Headphones

When I go to the gym I ALWAYS have to listen to music or watch an episode of my newest "favorite" series.  I have to do something to occupy my mind or I'm always looking at the time. When I have some distraction I feel like I can get through the workout much easier.

When I was asked to review BrainWavz I was very excited. They are a very nice quality over the ear headphone. They just looked much more comfortable than the earphones that came with my iPhone. When I opened the package I got even more excited.

The first thing I noticed was the nice zipper case they are stored in. That's so awesome because now I don't have to just toss them in my gym bag and watch them get tangled as I pull them out.  Not to mention it's not squishy so it will protect them from getting broken.

Another thing I really like is there is a Velcro strap that holds the cord together when it's "rolled" up. Then it goes neatly in the case. Also the cord is very long which is GREAT! I can put my phone on the machine and listen to the head phones without putting a bind on the cord. The cord is also thin and a different material than other cords I have used.

Plus it comes with a lot of different ear pieces. As you can see some of them look way different. Some are bigger some are a foam like material, others are a little harder. The possibility of you not finding one perfect for you is very slim!

I don't know about you but sound quality is also VERY important to me. I have always liked to listen to music and even though I'm not a composer, I can recognize good sound quality. These are amazing sound quality picking up tiny detailed sounds like a bird chirping in the background. Some speakers do not work that well. Another that is amazing especially in the gym, their ability to block background nose. The worker was vacuuming around me the other day and I hardly heard anything. That goes for the talking and music playing on the speakers in the back ground as well.

The stay in my ears and don't fall out. I don't have to fight with them or readjust every few minutes. Another great thing is they don't hurt my ears. That is always a great thing!

Thanks to BrainWavs amazing quality I can be in my own little world at the gym. I hate to be rude but I always hope nobody bothers me.

AYL (Accessories Your Life) USB Charger/Sync Cable

Have you ever noticed phone charger cables go out much faster than you phone? I went through 2 or 3 before I traded in my phone and I don't believe I'm rough with them. I use them as anyone normally would and they get bent and stop working.

I was very excited to work with Accessories Your Life for a review of the USB Charge/Sync Cable for y'all. It's compatible with iPhone 5 and 6 series  plus some iPads and iPods.

I didn't know some waterproof cases like Lifeproof need to be taken out to use the 6' MFI Certified cable. This cable is a stylish and slim lightening connector design allows it to be used with most devices without removing the case.  I didn't realize how long 6 foot was until I took the cable out. Do you realize this charger is LONGER than me?? So that is a very long cable.

It's six feet in length so you don't have to toss the phone on the floor while it's charging. The length will probably make it easier to find a place to charge your phone as well. And if you're like me, it's easier to use your phone while it's charging.

The cable is the same gauge as the one that comes when you purchase a new phone so you feel safe using it. It comes with a 1 year warranty. Next time you are in the market for a new charger cable, this one is a good one to look into.

MUV USA IPhone 5 Armband - Pro Athlete Quality Review

I was so excited when I was chosen to review the MUV iPhone Armband for the iPhone 5. I remember wanting to listen to my music while exercising but not having a pocket to put my phone. Or running the treadmill and my phone shaking too much in my pocket. Not to mention the wire from the headphones gets in the way a LOT so I couldn't wait to put this to use.

When I pulled out the armband I noticed how nice and sturdy the material is. It is also waterproof so if you get caught under a rain shower your phone won't get ruined.  The front plastic is very thick but my phone's touch screen works just fine underneath.

I love that this pouch is big enough to fit my phone and case. I read one that I had to take the case off before it would fit. Imagine that irritation having to remove your case every time you want to wear your arm band. There is a key holder on the inside of the armband so all you need to carry when you exercise is your water. No keys jingling in your pocket weighing you down. No cell phone bouncing up and down hitting your leg. No earphone wires getting in your way.

It is easily to put on and adjust to your arm it stays in placed with a Velcro strap that has a very strong hold. It can be as tight as you want. It doesn't squeeze your arm but it doesn't slide with movement. It stays in place with even the most vigorous movement.

Mr Nutcase personalized Cell phone case

I was so excited to be chosen to review a Mr. Nutcase Personalized cell phone case for y'all. I knew exactly who I would give it to and the type of picture I would put on it when I applied. The site is super easy to use and only takes a few minutes to have your case personalized with a picture and or text of your choice. Picking out the perfect picture took me longer than making the case.

Mr. Nutcase has different types of inexpensive cases for lots of devices and brands so you are not limited to cell phones. Once you have placed the order, you case is sent out the next day!  You can also use their templates or upload your own photo and display it right on your phone.

I'm sure by now you all know my husband (and I) are wildlife rehabbers and that is his passion. Not mine so much, I love animals and I help out but make up and girly things are much more my style, sorry off topic. But being his passion I KNEW he would like a case with some of the squirrels he has saved on it.

When you go to the site to put your own picture choose the "create your own button" Next you choose the type of device you are shopping for. We have IPhone 4S and the style I got was an Ultra Lightweight slimline. I was able to choose a background color so I chose my husband's favorite color, blue. Next was uploading a photo and sizing where I wanted it placed on the case. Last I added a text box, chose the font I wanted, and the text I wanted.  Then I was done. The entire process was so super easy and the site is self explanatory. The entire design took five minutes or less.

 The case itself is only a shell so I am a little worried that my husband will destroy it. After all he has destroyed an Otter box on more than one occasion. Other than that I am very pleased with the case. We have showed it to a few people and they loved it. They thought it was a very cool idea. I think this would make a great gift for somebody that has everything.

August MS425P BlueTooth Speaker review and giveaway

I've mentioned before I love music and play it on my IPhone frequently whether it's from ITunes or Pandora. We like to use my IPhone outside when the kids feel like dancing but that speaker is very weak and it's hard to make it project. I have blown a speaker on my old IPhone so we have to settle for a radio that catches very few stations.

I was so happy to get the August MS425P Blue tooth Speaker to review. It comes in six very pretty colors, of course I chose the pink one.  When I pulled it out I was shocked, it is super small with one little speaker on top. Combine that with it being light weight and it makes it very portable.

The blue tooth was very easy to install all I had to do is put it on and it was ready to go. So I pressed play and wow I was blown away. The sound quality was unbelievable I was so impressed. Then I discovered it was set on only half the volume capacity.

I could feel the base thumping when I touched the speaker so the music quality is amazing as well. Even at a loud volume there was no rattle or distortion. They have control buttons on the speaker so you can rewind or fast forward tracks from the speaker alone. Your phone can be charging in another room and you can skip songs as long as you are within 10 m. How sweet is that! There is also a call button so you can answer a call via the speaker. I was completely blown away by this speaker and it even impressed the hubby.

The battery life seems to be long lasting since I have not had to recharge it yet. I can think of tons of places to use this speaker so I know it will get lots of use. It also comes with an audio jack that allows you to connect to non-blue tooth devices as well.

Talking Anya Dress-up & Pet Puppies App

Like most mothers I am always interested in apps that will entertain my children if I need them. I mostly use them at the doctor's office because I always forget toys or other entertainment. It was much easier when they were younger because I would give them an app that teaches ABCs or Shapes but now that they are in school, they are on another level.

I should also mention I hate paying for apps I like to try them first. If I love it I will buy the expanded version or add ons but what if I don't like it? If I've paid for it I wasted my money. I don't know about you but I'm ALWAYS deleting the apps I don't like to make memory.  When I saw the app for Talking Anya Dress-up & Pets I knew my girls would love her. She is adorable 3D little girl who is super interactive. You can change her dress, the color of her hair and eyes. Then the big plus there is a free version so you can try it before you buy.

Your little one can put sunglasses on her, give her musical instruments, which your little one can help her play the instruments as well.  You also can make her sing and dance! Her dancing the Macerena  is too cute with of course a great beat for her to dance to. It made me smile so it's sure to make your little one smile.  All of this can be done by touching Anya. Imagine how much fun it is watching this funky little blue haired girl dancing!

You can make her blow bubbles and if you want to play along you can "pop" them. There is a counter telling you how many bubbles you have popped. In this screen shot she is "fussing" me for touching her hair because I will mess it up. Sounds a lot like one of my little girls.

If you touch her belly she laughs and says "that tickles" There are in app purchases for puppies and other clothing.  Anya can be a princess, lady bug, Cinderella, and much more. There are five puppies in all and you can purchase a puppy or more than one and they are interactive as well. 

My daughter laughed and laughed with Anya she loved popping the bubbles and watching her dance. Even my 10 year old son chuckled when Anya started dancing. 

I can see Anya providing lots of entertainment for a little one and with a free version for IPhones and IPads you have nothing to lose. PS: Don't worry the in app purchases tell your little one to get an adult  before they purchase. Plus ask for a math problem to be solved, so you have no surprises on your bill.

Yak Pak review and giveaway

When I saw Yak Pak reviewed by a fellow blogger I was so intrigued by the variety of bright, colorful products they offered. They have any thing from bags, dog leashes, to cell phone accessories all very bright and uniquely designed so the colors caught my eye. I was delighted when they agreed to work with me and I couldn't wait to share these products with ya'll.

I was given my choice of a list of products and I liked so many of the products and I could have used  lots of them. The product I chose after a lot of thought was a Mini Speaker for my IPhone.  It took me a long time to choose but this seemed like the natural choice because my family loves music. My children and I dance almost daily and my IPhone is usually the source of the music.  The problem with using the IPhone is the speakers are not that loud and even on highest volume they really don't project enough to hear around a room. We have a set of portable speakers that I could hook to my phone but they require an outlet. So I would have to stop what I'm doing find an open plug and plug them in. Then move them from room to room finding outlets as I go.  I have never wanted that hassle so those speakers stayed plugged in my bedroom and only used while I was in that room.

These Mini speakers are battery operated, extremely light, and very portable. I can plug them into my phone and carry both from room to room enjoying my playlist along the way. They only have an on off switch so the volume is controlled from your phone and as you can see they can stand up and be supported by the little wire piece on the back. I know they are named mini speakers but don't let the size fool you these little things put out lots of sound.  I can play my music in the kitchen and here it clearly in the bedroom without my phone being at max volume. The speakers really saved the speakers on my phone.  My last phone had a blown speaker because I guess my music was a little too loud one day. I can't help my love of music but I can save my phone speakers thanks to YakPak's awesome Mini Speakers.

These speakers are adorable they are pink back and a grey front decorated with colorful heart and I'm so glad they are girly. My husband mentioned they would be great for him to use in the truck since he likes to listen to his phone while driving and he doesn't have an adapter. I told him sure you can use them but they are PINK with little colorful hearts. So guess what, they are all mine, I don't have to worry about him taking them.
