I have always kept my fruit in a big bowl on the table. It was cute and worked but I noticed it went bad pretty fast. When I was chosen to review the Francois et Mimi Hammock Two Tier Fruit Bowl I was very happy. First it was a different look for my table ! Second I really think it's cute and I love the design.
The hammock comes in a few pieces that you snap together in a few seconds. Once I was done putting it together I was amazed at the size. It's very sizable but not bulky so it will take up less room than the bowl I'm using.
I was a little worried about it being a hammock and it would rock a lot throwing my fruits out. Or I also wondered if I I would have to balance the fruit before it would work. But I can happily say I had no problems putting my fruit on both tiers.
The bottom tier held two bundles of bananas and the top held apples and lemons. I could probably put more but I didn't have anything else and I really didn't want to push it.

It's so pretty I put it in the middle of my table so it's my functional center piece. It's great because the fruits are right there available to my children when they want them. As you can see they are also available to a few other household members!
