Dash:
Whether you already know your way around a home bar or want to learn the ropes, here's how to make it personal.

Mix up a batch of your very own easy-to-make bitters, which are as important to your bar as salt & pepper are to your kitchen cabinet, and use 'em in just about everything. It's boozy and intense on its own, but a few dashes of the stuff will pair beautifully with most any cocktail to draw out new flavors. And here's the fun part: you can customize your bitters recipe to complement a flavor in your favorite booze, or to add an entirely new dimension to classic cocktails – experimentation is encouraged. There's lots of potential beyond the bar cart, too: try it in soda, baked goods, or your next dinner recipe when you're not busy drinking.

Make Your Own Bitters Kit
Easy & Oskey

An easy project that pays delicious dividends. All you need is some sugar and a little bit of your favorite liquor to use with the included dry ingredients, bottles, and distilling gear. And if you're generous, the finished product makes for a terrific gift to anyone who enjoys a good cocktail (or three). The only hard part is waiting for your batch to mature before you can get to mixing.

BeSpokePost Seared Box

My husband is super picky. He has this theory that he doesn't want to try anything new. I know we are TOTAL opposites right!! All I do is try new things. But when I was able to review a  BeSpoken Box I let him pick it. I was surprise, not surprised that he found a few he really liked. I was surprised because he is normally not cooperative when it comes to things like this. But I was not surprised in a way because BeSpoken has AMAZING boxes for men. I like this idea as a gift because it is perfect for the man who has everything.

After some deliberation he choose the Seared box which turned out to be very fascinating. Have you ever heard of a salt block?  I hadn't until this box. It has a lot of uses when cooking. It can be used for serving cold food and it can be used to caramelize hot food. You can cook DIRECTLY on the block. I was so amazed the instructions.

There is also a cook book included that gives lots of suggestions and tips on how to care for your block.  So this is for someone who likes to cook and experiment with flavors. This box is perfect for ME and my husband. I get the benefit of eating something he cooks. We both get the excitement of experimenting.

This box is lots of fun. BeSpoke has plenty of awesome boxes. A BeSpoke Post Box of Awesome is an amazing gift for a man of any age. They also recently started a for her line too! So check them out.
