Ozeri Rev Digital Bath Scale with Electo-Mechanical Dial Review

I'm just going to be honest my scale and I don't get along. I don't visit it very often, in fact I avoid it like the plague. It always makes me depressed anyway. But I did make a New Year's resolution to lose weight because I really want to for myself. That means the scale and I will have to make up so I can see my progress.

When I have used scales in the past this is what I've seen. The scales that have the mechanical dial are so hard to read and are "off" with any movement. You can see the dial slightly to the right or left so I always estimate how many pounds I need to add or subtract. I'm always guessing if you had an accurate reading.

Then I purchased a digital scale, it's nice but extremely fussy. I notice when I try to turn it on sometimes I have to press very hard and that sends the scale bouncing in the air. I always think what a great way to break it. Then it also has to be level to take an accurate reading so I move the scale around the bathroom to find a place where the legs will sit flat. With my floors that is no always very easy to do.

When I got to review the the Ozeri Rev Digital Bath scale I was excited. With the New Year around the corner I will need to weigh myself more often that I do now. The first thing I noticed was how sleek and compact the scale platform looks. It is made out of tempered glass. It has a digital display and Electro-Mechanical Dial both are very well lit so you can see without straining. You an also set an alarm to remind you to weigh yourself at the same time every day. I'm sure you know weighing yourself at the same time is every important because your weight will fluctuate throughout the day. Sometimes as much as 2 lbs!

This scale requires 3 AA batteries which are included you just have to install them that's super easy.  To use, you do need to make sure it's on a hard, flat, level surface. It has legs that keep it level as long as the surface is flat, big difference from my previous scale.  All you do is tap the scale with you foot and it comes on. Once you step on it reads very quickly and the digital display is very easy to read.  It appears extremely accurate because we moved it around the house and it gave the same reading no matter what room we were in.

I just started the 30 day ab, push-up, and squat challenges so I will be visiting my scale more often. I'm glad I have my new Ozeri Scale with me on the adventure. Hopefully it won't make me as depressed as the others.

I received this product complimentary in exchange for an honest uncompensated review.

  4. I prefer a digital scale to a dial scale as well. The one we have right now seems to be holding out pretty good we've had it for a couple of years now and still weighs accurately. The one we had before that though..ugh you could get two different readings within 5 minutes of weighing yourself!

  5. I like the big face plate which makes it easy to read. I keep my scale in the bathroom so I see it every moring so no need for an alarm.
