I'm ashamed to say but we have this CRAZY mice/rat problem in our shed/storage room. My hubby being the soft hearted man he is did not want to kill them because they are so cute. Then he had the argument that we are rehabbers we SAVE animals not kill them!!
But I NEEDED to get rid of them because they were ruining everything. It was horrible they chew and use the bathroom everywhere and I couldn't stand it. Eventually he saw it too and was ready to do something but begged me not to kill them. We couldn't poison them anyway because if the outside wildlife ate them, it would be deadly to them too.
I was very happy to try this "natural" Rodent Repellent I was hoping it would be the solution to this massive ever growing problem. So the day I got in my package, I hurried to the shed/storage room and sprayed them down. Up and down and all around I was spraying. I was expecting a stinky chemical smell it smells very pleasant. I was so happy about that, the last thing I needed was a stinky poison smell around my kids. But then again stinky rats are not pleasant either.
I sprayed and sprayed some days there was a pair of beady little eyes looking at me while I was spraying. They would run away when I sprayed around them. But this never seemed to get rid of them. I think this would be great to use as a precaution, not a solution to the problem.
So I would recommend trying this if you see ONE rat/mouse because it's not a harmful chemical nor will it smell up your space. I would use it in my home and feel confident that it wouldn't bother me, my children, or my animals. But I don't think this will get rid of an infestation.
