You all know how much I love make up, I'm excited to tell you about a new blush I tried. It's Ageless Derma Pressed Mineral Powder in Sherry. This blush is Paraben free, contains natural anit-inflammatory, pure minerals with Vitamin A, E, and Green Tea extracts this anti-aging mineral makeup prevents wrinkles.
When I saw the color I immediately thought it was beautiful. It is pretty neutral and could be worn with any colors. Although it is a pressed powder once you run your brush over the blush it turns very powdery. That to me is a good and bad quality let me explain. It's very good because I don't have to work hard to get blush nor do I have to run my brush over it more than once. I have had lots of blushes aggravate me because I run the brush over and over then there's nothing on my cheek, I hate that. It's sort of a bad thing because it gets a little messy, but that is not bad enough to bother me.
It is very pigmented and applies extremely smooth and you can tell it has vitamins in it because it feels soft while applying. It also looks great on, this color is perfect. I wore the blush for eight hours and when I removed my makeup it was very obvious that I was removing blush as well. So it is long lasting too.
Ageless Derma Pressed Mineral Powder comes in 10 different colors so you're sure to find one you'll love.
What is your favorite blush?
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
At my house we don't drink sodas all day but I do drink them with most of my meals. When I read the calories and sugars on the back of the can I think, wow I should stop drinking this. I know why they say replace cola with a calorie/sugar drink you can lose weight. I tested that theory along with a few years ago along with other diet changes and lost 20 lbs so I know it works. Yet I went back to drinking soda with my meals because I like soda and they are addictive.
When I got to try Zevia all natural Soda, a zero calorie soda with no artificial sweetener I was very excited. I would love to have my soda and not have the calories, carbs, sugars, or the dangers of artificial sweeteners that would be great. I consume a lot of sugar without even knowing, how much sugar you are drinking? A glass of orange juice has 48g, 12 oz soda has 39g, a carton of chocolate has 27 g, Zevia 0 g. A Snickers bar has less grams of sugar than a glass of orange juice. That is unbelievable to me, I would much rather have a tasty snack than drink all those sugars and calories.
Zevia sodas are sweetened with the Stevia leaf which is 300 times sweeter than sugar, but has 0 calories and does not effect blood sugar. The natural sweetener has been used in Japan a long time but it is now catching on in the US. They offer 15 flavors in 12 oz cans, some of the most popular ones are offered in a glass bottle as well.
Unfortunately I didn't love any of the six flavors I was sent to test: Cherry Cola, Cream Soda, Ginger Ale, Ginger Root Beer, Grape, and Grapefruit Citrus. Did I mention I'm ridiculously picky? Soda is not the only thing I"m picky with but I only drink soda flavor, luckily my husband and children are not picky so they tried them for me.
My husband couldn't wait to try the Ginger Root Beer because root beer is one of his favorite flavors. He drank most of the can but from the very first sip he said it tasted just like root beer but had an after taste. I tried the Ginger Root Beer and to me it tasted just like drinking any other root beer soda with a slight after taste. My children, who don't drink a lot of soda chose the Cherry Cola flavor and all five of them loved it and started plotting which of the others they would try.
The next night my husband tired Cream Soda and it was the same outcome he said it tastes great but has an after taste. I don't like cream soda at all so I didn't take a sip of this one. The kids tried the Grape and again they loved it so much they asked for seconds. I tried the grape and I agree with the kids it tasted just fine to me but has the slight after taste. The last two Ginger Ale and Grapefruit Citrus were the same they had a good flavor just the pesky after taste.
I have tried my fair share of artificial sweeteners Sweet N Low, Equal, and Nectresse' so I know an after taste is not unusual. Since my family uses mostly sugar and only drink regular soda we are not accustomed to any after taste but I in my opinion the after taste was no worse than Coke Zero or Diet Coke. So if you are a diet soda drinker these are something you may like.
A 24 pack of 12 oz cans cost $30.00 that is a little much to me, I don't know why the cost is so much higher than other sodas but I'm sure there is an explanation. Would I pay $30.00 a 24 pack? Probably not even if I LOVED them I don't know if I could do it. If you want to trying Zevia here is a coupon. I love coupons Who doesn't like saving money?
*** GIVEAWAY Time *** If you want to try them yourself here is your chance to win a 6 pack. Zevia has generously offered to send FIVE of my readers a six pack of Zevia Zero Calorie Sodas! Winter time is coming soon and with winter comes lots of wardrobe changes. I am a sucker for boots and sweaters but unfortunately lots of times they hang in my closet because it never gets COLD enough around here. One thing I can never go without is a comfy pair of slippers. I have ceramic floors so I wear them year round but there is something soothing about slipping my feet in a warm pair of slippers on a cold winter morning.
When TK in Style agreed to let me review their slippers I was over the top excited. Slippers are a necessity for me so why wouldn't I want them cute and girl too? I chose Gemellie Woman's Lucy Slipper in Maroon. They have six colors in all to choose from. As you can see they are super cute with a little soft fluff ball on top. I loved it from the first time I saw them and my four year old asked if she could have them once I grow out of them, so I think she approves.
They are a slip on style and the material is a soft velour with a rubber sole. A rubber sole is super important to me because I have a terrible habit of walking outside before I realize I have slippers on. On a few occasions I have almost left the house in my slippers. Hopefully it never happens but If I ever show up for work in slippers, I want them to be these!
These slippers are very slim and not bulk but the padding is very thick. The padding is also extremely comfortable and durable. I am very hard on slippers and usually the insole sinks in on me but these are still just as full as they were the first day. They have more styles and colors to choose from and they also have a very nice variety of men slippers as well. These would make a great Christmas gift for the person in your life that you stress about what to get them. There is a link at the top of the page if you want to go check them out.
Show TK in Style some love, follow them on Facebook
I received a these slippers in exchange for an honest uncompensated review but as usual the opinion is all mine.
I am a huge fan of monthly subscription boxes and I know a lot of you are too. I love when my Ipsy bag comes it feels like Christmas morning every time, is that how you feel too? I'm very excited to tell you about a new unique monthly beauty subscription box named From the Lab.
This is not your ordinary subscription boxes the products you get are new innovative products so they are not your everyday brands. From the Lab goes directly to the source, partnering with the best independent cosmetic labs in the world to procure their most ground-breaking products before prestige beauty brands introduce these same formulas, patents, and ingredients to the retail market. When you subscribe to From the Lab the future of beauty is delivered to your door for a very special price. When you subscribe, the first week of each month you will receive up to three innovative beauty selections.
They can give you the products to you for such a low cost because they have no expensive packaging, no lengthy distribution process which means members have access to these luxury beauty products at up to 80% off the projected retail price and up to eighteen months before these innovations are made available on the U.S. market.
From the Lab only uses a conscientious selection of plant-based and synthetic ingredients that are suitable for every skin type, and all of our key actives and ingredients are clinically tested to ensure stability and compatibility. All of our products are formulated to provide effective concentrations of the most advanced compounds and actives available.
The product I received in the box From the Lab sent me to review was an AM/PM Cleanser No586 the card with it said "is too much water dehydrating your skin?" That question makes sense if you are in water too long you look a little like a prune due to dehydration. So maybe washing your face everyday, twice a day is partly to blame for dryness. The AM/PM cleanser is designed to clean your face without washing it and this formula has never been available to woman in the US until now. AM/PM Cleanser removes makeup, cleanses, tones, and treats your skin all in one step.
I was intrigued by the thought that to much water may be drying out my face but I won't lie to y'all, all I thought was WOW one step. I don't have to grab soap, run the water until it's warm, get the toner. A girl could get used to that and what a great way to save time in the morning.
I was, however, very skeptical about being able to clean my face but hey, I've been wrong a couple of times. The first night I had no make up on so I just soaked a cotton ball in the AM/PM Cleanser No586 and ran it over it my face. When I saw the dirt it removed I was impressed because I could SEE it working. So the next day I "braved" it and removed my full face of makeup. Again I was very impressed, it took a few cotton balls full of the cleanser but it removed all of my makeup and my face felt refreshed like I would have washed it and used toner. I applied my usual moisturizer and my face felt great.
This product is amazing, it has a smell that was a little strong for me but it was very pleasant. I really liked this product and would purchase it again especially for those lazy days. I have seen some of the past From the Lab boxes and think this would be a great subscription box to invest in. Do keep in mind this box is not about getting lots of products for your money, instead it's about getting high qualify skin or hair care at an affordable price. I can't wait to see what is in next month's From the Lab box!!
New members can have From the Lab delivered right to their door for only $19.95, that is a 33% savings and you are guaranteed that price for life!!
I was sent this box complimentary in exchange for an honest, uncompensated review but as always, the opinion is all mine.
When I saw Yak Pak reviewed by a fellow blogger I was so intrigued by the variety of bright, colorful products they offered. They have any thing from bags, dog leashes, to cell phone accessories all very bright and uniquely designed so the colors caught my eye. I was delighted when they agreed to work with me and I couldn't wait to share these products with ya'll.
I was given my choice of a list of products and I liked so many of the products and I could have used lots of them. The product I chose after a lot of thought was a Mini Speaker for my IPhone. It took me a long time to choose but this seemed like the natural choice because my family loves music. My children and I dance almost daily and my IPhone is usually the source of the music. The problem with using the IPhone is the speakers are not that loud and even on highest volume they really don't project enough to hear around a room. We have a set of portable speakers that I could hook to my phone but they require an outlet. So I would have to stop what I'm doing find an open plug and plug them in. Then move them from room to room finding outlets as I go. I have never wanted that hassle so those speakers stayed plugged in my bedroom and only used while I was in that room.
Front
back
These Mini speakers are battery operated, extremely light, and very portable. I can plug them into my phone and carry both from room to room enjoying my playlist along the way. They only have an on off switch so the volume is controlled from your phone and as you can see they can stand up and be supported by the little wire piece on the back. I know they are named mini speakers but don't let the size fool you these little things put out lots of sound. I can play my music in the kitchen and here it clearly in the bedroom without my phone being at max volume. The speakers really saved the speakers on my phone. My last phone had a blown speaker because I guess my music was a little too loud one day. I can't help my love of music but I can save my phone speakers thanks to YakPak's awesome Mini Speakers.
These speakers are adorable they are pink back and a grey front decorated with colorful heart and I'm so glad they are girly. My husband mentioned they would be great for him to use in the truck since he likes to listen to his phone while driving and he doesn't have an adapter. I told him sure you can use them but they are PINK with little colorful hearts. So guess what, they are all mine, I don't have to worry about him taking them.
Now for the fun part, not that you thought my review wasn't fun, RIGHT? YakPak has generously offered to give one of my readers a product of their choice. Word of advice set aside some time because although the mini speakers are a perfect fit, it took me a long time to decide what I wanted to review. One winner will be chosen at random through the RaffleCopter. Winner will have 48 hours to contact me with their mailing info. alwaysblabbing is not responsible for shipping prize. This giveaway is open to US only, once again sorry to my international readers. Good luck everybody, you MUST be following me on Twitter or GFC or like alwaysblabbing on FaceBook to win.

Description: Waldon Bear is a little boy who wants to be a bear. "that's impossioble," says his teacher, Mrs. Hunter. "Human children grow up to be human adults, not animal!" But Waldon refuses to listen. Can Waldon make it as a bear in school? Will Waldon convince the other children and Mrs. Hunter that he's truly meant to be a bear? This humorous look at childhood will charm parents and delight young readers. At its heart, this story carries an inspiration message to believe in yourself and your dreams and for parents to believe in their children, too. And for those who can bearly wait to learn more about bears, the book ends with Mrs. Dweck's fun facts about bears from around the world.
When I told my children I had another book to share with them they hurried and gather around the computer to excited to read it. From the minute I opened the book my children were glued. They genuinely laughed at almost every page and I will admit I chuckled a few times myself.
With it's colorful pages and humorous story as with all of Julia Dweck's creations, this book manages to have a lesson intermingled as well. Believe in your yourself and you can be anything you want to be. I know as a I tell my children that constantly but Faux Paw has a lesson for parents as well. Sometimes it may take more than words to help your child believe they can be anything they want to be.
My children loved the fun facts and matching game at the end. I was not surprised my children enjoyed this book, Julia Dweck is a hit in my house. Two days later and my daughter is begging me to read this book again. She said she LOVED this story because his teacher said he couldn't be a bear but his mom said you can be anything you want to be.
Faux Paw is available on Amazon Follow Julia Dweck onTwitter,
Hi everybody, I have a new amazing polish maker to tell you about. Mandy from Mandyland Polish was sweet enough to send me three of her beautiful polishes to review for y'all. Mandy says 'all of my polishes are made from cosmetic grade materials and are three-free: NO dibutyl, phthalate, toluene, or formaldehyde! As they are hand mixed by me, please keep in mind there may be a slight variations among batches. Also the pigment should not settle due to the quality of the base but it never hurts to give the bottle a good shake between uses" The polishes cost between $6.00 - $9.00 a piece and she has lots of adorable colors to choose from. I've said it before pink is not my thing but I think I'm starting to really like pink so, of course the first one I grabbed was the pink, She's Always a Woman. When I opened the package my girls gathered around with lots of oohs and ahhs so I had to hide in a room to avoid my girls screaming "momma, please do my nails too". Not that I mind doing their nails but you understand, I will just have to do them later. This is a dark pink with pretty sparkly flecks that go on smoothly and spreads evenly. I love summer I love the heat, the pool, the beach, and the bright colors and this color says summer fun to me.
When I first saw Piano Man I thought okay not so bad it's grey/silver very nice for winter. Then I put it on and was so impressed. It is a very nude color, it doesn't come out grey at all. The first thing I thought was this would be great for a job interview. But it would also be great for people who unlike me, don't like bright bold colors. Although I like like bright bold colors I really like this polish it was very pretty with the soft shine that reflected light. I can't wait to use this as a top coat over one of my more matte colors to see the results.
I saved the glitter, Only the Good Die Young for last, I ALWAYS save the glitter for last. I love them, think they are beautiful but removing them could make me lose my mind some times. This glitter has pink, blue, orange, green, and yellow pretties in it. They are all different shapes they have stars, circles, squares, dots, and they are all different sizes. When I looked very carefully I saw little black dots as well. They are easy to apply and don't take much digging to get them out as long as you shake the bottle before each use. The polish itself is a clear jelly texture so as you can see I paired it with a white base. I just found it stood out more with a back ground. I didn't think I would like this one when I first saw it but I love it.This is by far the most fun polish I have ever tried. It is so colorful that it makes me smile when I look at it. It reminds me of a birthday party for some reason but it is not childish in anyway. This would be good for any age. Not only is it fun to look at it it was fun to apply. I felt like an artist with the brush picking the colors I wanted and applying them strategically. You can apply as many or as few pretties as you want, there are no rules. I tried to get all the colors on each nail and think I did an okay job. As with any glitter and decorative polish it applies easier if you dab the brush and not stroke the it. Also apply a top coat it will make the decorations less likely to rise or fall off.
Like Mandyland Polish on FaceBook to see her newest creations.
I received these polishes complimentary for testing purposes but the opinion is all mine.

Skin care is the most important beauty regimen you can do because without the proper skin care no amount or brand of makeup will be effective. It has been said by experts time and time again skin care products are one thing you should splurge on. That really makes sense to me, you can't get more skin. There are procedures to correct damage but if you can prevent needing them why wouldn't you? Bioque recently sent a gentle Skin Purifying Cleanser and Skin Refinisher for my review.
The Skin Purifying Cleanser is a paraben/sulfate-free facial wash. The site says it is the "ultimate cleanser for all skin types. " As with all cleansers I used this twice a day. It smells is amazing with the soft scent of oranges. The consistency is perfect because when you squeeze out a dime size amount (that is the recommended amount) it doesn't run out of your hand, but it's not extremely thick. It lathers wonderfully which makes it super easy to rub onto your face. It didn't dry my face out after using either. I have had facial cleanser that literally had me running for the moisturizer.
The Skin Refinisher is a facial scrub the site says it "provides smoothing exfoliation of discarded skin cells to help achieve a more youthful appearance." This is one of the most gentle facial scrubs I have ever used. The scrubbing beads are big enough to be effective but small enough not to irritate the skin. This product also had the amazing soft scent of oranges while using it. The exfoliator I used before so so thick, almost chunky and that made it hard to spread. This one was not like that it was a great consistency and very easy to spread. Just like with an exfoliator you massage into your skin for a few minutes then was clean. Bioque recommends using the Skin Re-finisher at LEAST once a week. I have used it more often without irritation.
I have been using the two for about a week now and my skin feels great. All I do is use the cleanser twice a day and the refinisher every other day, then follow with my usual toner and moisturizer.
The Cleanser sells for $18.00 and the Refinisher sells for $22.00 so if you want to order either (or both) of these products here is a link to the site. Bioque also has lots of other amazing skin care products. Those prices are not exactly splurge prices, I have paid a lot more for my skin care. You also get free samples of other products with your order and they offer a 60 day money back guarantee, so what have you got to lose?
Now for the giveaway rules!! One winner will be chosen at random through the RaffelCopter. This giveaway is open to US residence only, sorry!! alwaysblabbing is not responsible for sending prizes to the winner and someone from Bioque will contact you for your mailing information. Good luck!
I was sent these products complimentary in exchange for an honest uncompensated review but as usual the opinion is all mine. Rest assured I only recommend products I feel would benefit my readers.
I have been tagged by the sweet Amelie from All Things Glitters and Beauty to do the beauty things I suck at tag. I love her blog she has beautiful pictures and amazing reviews. She is also a wonderful supporter, you should go check her out. Thanks Amelie for tagging me!! This was a little harder than I thought. Trust me, It's not that I don't "suck' at beauty related things, I just had a hard time thinking of more. It also appears I "suck" at some of the same things that Amelie does.
1. I cannot put eyeliner on my entire eye I can do top lid perfectly, bottom lid not so much. No matter WHAT I do I find I look like a raccoon. I think raccoons are cute and everything but I don't want to look like one.
2. I cannot Pluck or wax my eyebrows: first of all plucking hurt way to much, call me what you will but I just can't repeatedly pull my hair out. I know beauty hurts but there are other alternatives. I would attempt to wax my own eyebrows but thanks to a friend I am terrified of that. You see, she pulled half her eyebrow off one day when she tried to wax her own eyebrows. That is so something I would do so I leave my brows to a professional.
3. Styling my hair: this is one of the most frustrating things to suck at. No matter what I do the only way I can fix my hair is straightened. Of course I can throw it in a ponytail and I have finally learned how to get it not to look slick. This flaw of mine has caused many tears throughout the years. I hate when a get a fresh hair cut and it looks beautiful. The beautician sits with me and step by step tells me how to style it. It seems simple enough then I wake up, brush my hair and NOTHING. I just don't understand why my hair hates me but it does. I buy (and USE) all the products they use and still blah.
I'm sure there are hundreds more but I just can't think of them right now.
Having pets is rewarding and fun but can get messy. How many times has the dog had an accident or the cat "missed' the litter box with carpet that can be hard to clean. To me carpet is one of the hardest things to clean. We always talk about renting a steam cleaner because I need one but that is pain. I would want to ( probably should) move the furniture in all the rooms and clean them while I have it. But my weekends are for me to relax, not that I do actually relax much but you know what I'm saying.
That being said when I discover a stain, I usually end up on all fours with a bucket of vinegar and water scrubbing the floor hoping stain will come. I hate the way vinegar smells when mixed with warm water but it works most of the time.
Fizzion's award-winning Pet Stain and Odor Remover is safe for you, your pets, and the environment. It comes in a concentrate table that you "activate" when you need it. Drop the tablet in the spray bottle fill with warm water and let it sit for a few minutes while it dissolves. You can see it fizzing while it dissolves. Once activated the tablet will be good for up to a year which is great to know but with all the messes I clean, mine won't last that long.
Did I mention Fizzion can used on almost any surface? That so nice to have one product for your floors, carpets, and furniture. Even better when that is environmentally safe and safe for your children and pets. Fizzion worked magic on urine stains made my my rescue squirrels. It removed the stain without an extreme amount of scrubbing. It also has a very pleasant smell. I can't describe it, it's not fruity but more of clean smell. The kit to purchase comes with a spray bottle, and two Fizzion tablets so that can be up to two years of cleaning products. Towel is sold separately for only $2.99.
Before
After
I had a video to share that shows just how fast it works but I couldn't get that video to load on here. Take my word it was a few seconds. Spray, rub, gone. It really is that easy. I have never thought cleaning products are exciting but I'm excited about Fizzion because it works so well, is environmentally safe, and smells good. How can I not be excited?
Giveaway time!! Fizzion has agreed to give TWO lucky winners a Fizzion kit of their own. Good luck, Winners will be chosen at random through RaffleCopter and the winners will have 48 hours to contact me with their mailing information. US only sorry, everybody. alwaysblabbing is not responsible for shipping prizes. You can enter the giveaway from 10/14/13 - 10/29/13. Don't forget to come back once a day to share for extra entries. Can't wait to see if you win to try Fizzion? Use code ALWAYSBLABBING at check out www.fizzionclean.com for 50% off your order.
I don't know if any of you know this about me but I love to bake. Sometimes I use it as time to relax, some times it is a fun activity to do with my children. We actually bond over cookies and cupcakes and have fun doing it. When I got the Mrs. Fields Half N Half Cooking pan, Sto N Go Dessert Carrier, and Scoop N Cut Cookie Tool from Love Cooking Company I was so excited. The first day I had off I took the opportunity to bake cupcakes in my Half N Half cupcake pan. I didn't even wait for the kids to get off of school, I in fact wanted to surprise them but I ran a little too late. They walked in on me pouring the batter and their eyes got extremely big. I had dyed the batter pink and purple for the girls, orange and green for the boys.
The cupcakes were a huge hit with my children but I can see them great for any occasion. I already have green and red planned for Christmas and black and orange for Halloween. When I asked my children to rate the Half N Half on a scale from 1 - 5 one said a five another said 12. I'm not sure if they meant it the way I took it by I would give it more than a five if I could too.
The Half N Half although very simple, it's a cupcake/muffin pan with a separate plastic removable piece that has a divider in the middle for the mix. It is a genius idea it's one of those things that makes you say, why didn't I think of that. You may think to yourself I don't need that . Why would I want to make cupcakes that are different colors. But it's not just colors you can easily do strawberry chocolate cupcakes. If you are a muffin eater, this can be used for muffins too can't decide what flavor you want? Have them both in one muffin. The pan is a great quality and all the cupcakes baked quickly and evenly. It was super easy to wash and as you can see I'm very messy! All the excess came of with warm water and a sponge no scrubbing required.
With holidays around the corner Mrs. Fields Sto N Go and Scoop N Cut Cookie tool are perfect to bring homemade treats to everyone you visit. With the Scoop N Cut there is no guessing when it comes to cookie measurements. When I do cookies they come out different sizes, one is huge the others are little. When that happens they don't all cook evenly. All you do with the Scoop N Cut is scoop some cookie dough and drop it on the pan. There are two sizes to choose from but either way all of your cookies will be even. The middle doubles as a cutter for the cookie dough that is in a roll. Then to carry them, the Sto N Go is perfect. It is made of a very sturdy plastic and has two adjustable shelves. it lays horizontal and the handle is on top so you carry that way as well. you can also use it for brownies or other treats.

I received these products complementary in exchange for an honest, uncompensated review from the Love Cooking Company. As usual the opinion expressed is almost all mine, my children had some input as well for this one.
Here in the south we love sweet tea, I can drink it with breakfast, lunch, or supper it doesn't matter to me. The sweeter the better. Now I have a new reason to love sweet tea but I can't drink this one.
I'm excited to feature Sweet Tea Polish. The artist behind Sweat Tea Polish, Darah has lots of beautiful colors in her Esty shop under Designsbydarah. She may include a piece of adorable jewelry with your order. Wouldn't that be a nice surprise? Some of the jewelry includes a burst of a Sweet Tea Polish Color. I received my package and was so impressed by how cute it was. Darah wrapped it in pink tissue and tied with a colorful string. You could almost see the love she puts in her work. I was super excited that I received not one, not two, but THREE polishes to try.

I didn't make it to the end of the day without trying the first polish, Garnet Girl. This is a beautiful deep red and it dries matte but if you want to kick it up notch add a top coat and watch the beautiful shine. The polish went on smoothly and evenly it also dried extremely quickly. This is a great fall color it looks great by itself. If you like nail art, I can see doing some little green leaves or even little pumpkins.

The next color is Garnet Girl Glitter which screams fall to me. It has tiny but very visible flecks of black with red and gold glitter flecks as well. The bottle is filled with glitter so you get some on the brush every time you dip it so I did not have to fight to get an even coat. As with all glitters I give this application tip dab the brush onto your nail instead of stroking the brush. This only ensures that the glitter doesn't smear. The GarnetGirl and Garnet Girl Glitter can be paired to make nail art. I am a glutton for punishment because I know there is superglue somewhere in the glitter polish recipe but I think they are amazing. Removal hint soak a cotton ball in acetone then press it to the nail for a few seconds. The glitter will come right off. Oddly enough my girls removed their glitter polish with NO problems. I must add this glitter is very smooth, even without a top coat it does not stick up or flake off.

The last featured polish is Mint Julep which is a beautiful mint green. As with the other polishes this one goes on extremely smooth and easily. The first coat is very light so you do need at least two coats. I will have one problem with this polish, it reminds me of my favorite ice cream. Can you guess what flavor that is?
This picture shows the Garnet Girl Glitter Ring that was included with my polishes. I think this is the most adorable ring. It is a swatch of the polish but it is versatile. I would wear it with any outfit it matches.

I was lucky enough to be chosen to receive products complimentary for testing purposes fromTobi's Touch. Their website offers a huge variety of custom blended natural skin care products. They have skin care for babies with eczema which is awesome to me. All of my children had eczema when they were babies and I hated to use such strong medicine on them but nothing else worked. Had I known about Tobi's Touch I would love to have tried something natural on my babies.
The samples I want to tell you about were the ones to target my combination skin, I'm sure y'all are tired of hearing about my oily TZone. This is what Tobi sent me for this concern:

Hand blended and made from natural material they are not your usual moisturizers. To be honest I was a little skeptical when I first saw them because the consistency is for both is much thinner then I'm used to. It helped to shake sort of like you shake a nail polish bottle. Then apply like any other moisturizer by rubbing into your face and neck. A little trick I was told was always rub in an upward motion so you don't pull against the elastin in your skin. Is this set in stone? Doubtful but it's just something I like to do maybe its an old wives tale.
I had never used an elixir so I wasn't sure what to expect. It's just a little bottle with a dropper in it and you squeeze lightly to get the elixir out. It is not extremely thick but it is not watery either. Once I started using them that didn't matter much at all. After two days of using my face felt amazing and it was softer and smoother. The difference was unbelievable. I have never skimped on the moisturizer and have used some sort of regimen since I was in my.... well lets just say when I was a little younger. Nothing has made my skin feel so amazing. The most amazing part is my face feels like this all of the time. It's not just right after I put the serum on. Needless to say I love these products! Read below for you chance to try them yourself.
